Recently I had a disaster while attempting to trim the jungle around the corner of my apartment. The management won’t do it so I’m using a machete, and on my last swing I was caught off balance and fell into a briar patch, thorns, poison ivy and oak. It was impossible to lift myself out. I squeezed the neck medallion and within 15-20 minutes firemen were pulling me out. I’ve had Medical Alert for over eight years and it paid for itself that day.
the kind group came to my home in a timely
Fast, friendly service within minutes. That is most important.
fell with no one around, Broke my hip and fenner (sp) bone. was in hospital until September 6. So happy I had Medical alert.
It’s been very reassuring to know that I have this device I can wear to protect me and get help if I fall. I do not like the fact, though that it goes off during the night when I’m sleepy and scares me half to death to push the button. I am not sure on the price. It seems like I was told by someone that we should be able to get these devices for free. If we’re on Medicare I’m not sure I don’t know about that. You respond to me. I’ve always been very helpful. I appreciate their confidence and abilities and qualities , and qualifications to do the job they are asked to do.
Advertisement very much like this service
Mom has had several medical issues since we have purchased the Medical Alert and every time the ambulance has been there before I have arrived to tend to the situation. Thank You !!!!
The alert representatives have been excellent in responding to the alert calls; some intentional and some accidental. And the response team have been great when arriving at the house. 1 trip to the hospital and others with making sure vitals were in check.
There was some miscommunication when I wished to try the addition/change to fall detection. I was told could tryout and return- was charged $10.00, but when returned will see somehow the money when pay automatic in January-------confusing here. Was told to not wear to bed-when one is more likely to get up-and no button ----on and button too big anyway. the system does work.
They got me help quickly
When I put the alert to be charged you always respond that the alert is now charging. And, on July 25, I pressed the button for help and the firemen and ambulance responded and took me to Emergency. Thank you. I still use the your device when I go outside of the Asst. Living at Lakeside . I use one they gave me to use inside the building only. I took the device off of the front door and will be sending it to you shortly as it will no longer be needed there, and the real estate people will be putting their own up as the house will be for sale. Thanks for your service. Marie French If I no longer feel I need your device, I will send it in for a refund.
Fast response time Fast contacting emergency contacts
Emts were fast to respond, efficient, kind
Always there for me
It has been an effective device. Very smooth response. And extra peace of mind having this system in place.
I fell in my kitchen. I am 83 yrs. old and was grateful to be able to press my alert button since I am unable to get back up on my own. I banged my head on the floor and was bleeding but did not panic because I knew someone would be helping me soon. I have used Medical alert at least 3 times over the years. Would never chance being without this reliable company.
