Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS
Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.
UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

Signed up for 12 month 3GB plan with unlimited international calling ($20 value) for $89. Now Lyca Mobile is not honoring the plan that I signed up for saying international calling is not included. The international calling is clearly stated on the plan sign-up page and their customer service team is not honoring it. In addition, the CS team is not responding to my emails or say that a manager will return my call "within an hour". Lyca Mobile please help and honor the plan that I signed up for. You cannot advertise a plan and not provide the services.

I have been a customer for more than 10 years and I am now trying to get my Account number and Transfer PIN number but the customer service refuses to give it to me. They pretend they need more information while I already provided them my SIM card picture, ID picture, last called numbers, last recharge, credit card used. They only reply week after week asking for the same things, while they already have all info, trying to illegally keep customers by retaining their phone numbers. Edit: Also, I already wrote to trustpilotreview-at-lycamobile.com right after I wrote this review and got no answer, so I don't know if you're just replying here to pretend taking care of things. Edit #2: After 25 days, a dozen of phone calls, 15 e-mail including a last one threatening to initiate legal proceedings, I received my transfer information.

They will send you spam emails every other day about adding more data once your data goes above a certain point, maybe 50%, if you don't get an unlimited plan. The Unsubscribe button in their emails doesn't work. I tried to get customer service to stop spamming me, but they told me the messages were automated so they were unable to take me off the list.

I have been with Lyca for the last 10+ years and my sim card stopped working two weeks back. Bouchaib was able to help very promptly and guided with step by step instructions to get my number changed to the new sim. He also helped to submit a request to extend my plan by 2 weeks due to the inconvenience caused. Greatly appreciated all the support provided by him today.

On January 31, 2025, my Lyca Mobile phone number was stolen due to a network security vulnerability, and $18,000 was stolen from the bank. The bank staff told me that they have had many similar cases recently, and I must not use Lyca Mobile's mobile phone card. I gave Lyca Mobile the police case number, and after various negotiations and complaints, my mobile phone card has not been returned to me. I suspect they are in cahoots.

After more than three weeks of frustration, 15+ calls, and over 10 emails with no real help, I was about to give up on Lyca Mobile USA. Then I was lucky enough to get connected with Raymond from customer service — and he completely turned the experience around. Raymond stayed with me on the phone for over 40 minutes, patiently listening, understanding the issue, and working through every step until it was fully resolved. He was kind, professional, and genuinely committed to helping — something that had been completely missing from my earlier interactions. Honestly, Raymond is the only reason I'm still a Lyca customer today. Huge thanks to him for doing what no one else could — providing real customer support. Lyca USA, if you're reading this: Raymond deserves recognition.

2nd update: it's been so many days and business as usual..not replying to my email and only when it's come to recharge they would say i need to buy a plan and then silence again...i think support staff deliberately skip emails to reduce their workload...same shit going on 1st update after company respons : i can't reply to your reply...so i have sent a new email to the support email address...if u don't want to communicate there then send me an alternate number my number was deactivated due to inactivity they couldn't activate it...but said it's activated..then i suggested a sim swap and they made me buy sim twice and asked for the third time to buy and had to go through verification multiple times...what's happening is different people is handling my emails and they don't know what was the previous discussion so they are doing the same thing again n again as they don't handle it all at once...how come a company distribute invalid sims? actually they couldn't activate it in the first place so sim swap is not being successful ..they asked me to recharge and i recharged on 17th april and till now only one guy replied after being prompted that why no replies for long where he just copy pasted the previous message that i need to recharge when i recharged long ago...and i am not getting any reply since then...i don't think the owner knows these things happening and support people are not supervised well...if u can't activate a deactivated number i can't continue with this service...also this email support is not professional..they have been exchanging email with me since january 1 still couldn't solve it and doing things in circle

Beware of spam and unauthorized charges! I subscribed to this service online as part of my cell phone plan. After cancelling the auto-renewal, I was still charged again without my permission. I reached out to their customer care, and they assured me that a refund would be processed. They even gave me a reference number: 106387555. But the refund never came, and they’ve gone silent since. I’ve stopped using their service entirely and decided to dispute the charge through my bank. There’s no point in contacting them again—they simply can't be trusted. Their service, overall, is not great and the support experience was extremely disappointing.
