Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS
Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.
UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

One of the worst customer service in the globe!!I I was trying to recharge for my daughters phone as she is out of country more than a week and no proper response from Lyca.I am calling customer care daily they keep on saying my card is invalid but i am using the card daily to purchase and i tried recharging for my phone number and it went through. What kind of ridiculous customer support Hello Customer Support, As mentioned in my review i used the same card to recharge my phone and it worked no issue with card or bank(also i have called my bank and verified and they are saying Merchant is charging and reversing the amount again)so don't say that the issue with card which your customer team is also saying. I will mention my request which i requested for refund as i am already having active plan on my account. Try to troubleshoot the issue properly and don't provide half baked information without proper review or analysis.

I was having some trouble with updating my credit card info for my plan. Marri was extremely helpful and patient. she understood my situation, offered options and stayed on the phone to help me complete my transaction. I also needed to resolve a credit balance that I inadvertently created when trying to solve my issue before I talked to Marri. She offered a few ways to resolve, none of which worked for me. So she came up with another way for me to claim this credit. She was extremely polite and friendly, and made me feel like a valued customer.

After my stay in Florida I was still charged for the e-sim. Ca. 13$ every month and tried to cancel it once I was back home in Germany. Gave them every information they asked for. Didn’t change anything. And today they withdrew over 50$ from my account. I’m a student and don’t have that kind of money. What is this customer support. I don’t get it. This close to getting a lawyer over this. Never again.

I wanted to swap my SIM card to eSIM, and was having a problem enabling it. I sought help from Mr Jaber and must appreciate his efforts in assisting me through the process. He was very patient, polite and helped me resolve my problem. He not only helped me in activating the e-SIM but also answered my other queries related to my data plan. I strongly recommend Mr. Jaber for the outstanding customer service.

I am trying to get my Account number and Transfer PIN number but the customer service refuses to give it to me, called multiple times and is always the same! They pretend they need more information while I already provided them all info, they ask for 2 most dialled numbers, I give 2+2+2 numbers and they always say it numbers are not accepted and i will have to call a different time when i have the 2 numbers!! They are only trying to illegally keep customers by retaining their phone numbers!! I am disgusted with this attitude. I have read other reviews and i can see this is a recurrent situation! I will take action and file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission!

Cannot recommend this mobile company at all, the struggle just to get a transfer pin is out of this world... they demand you to get phone calls done just to give access to that, is hilarious... And after you start to give them the numbers that you had call, they say is not right or not enough, WHY? This is a nightmare of company to work with, never ever experience anything like that, "one star" is even too much for the service you get, and be prepared to wait over 1hour just to get any answer on the phone, never again... (Update) It's a bit funny that right next day of this review my problem was sorted, so now you know, if you need something fixed with this company just go ahead and write a review here, it works, Thanks!

I just switched from Verizon since I finally got my Samsung S23Ultra paid off and unlocked, I was able to take advantage of a special new customer offer that gave me 3 months of unlimited service for $15 and it's not a bait and switch tactic it's not false advertising it is the real deal 3 months of service for $15.75 and I even got free shipping on the SIM card and could have used an esim for instant activation had I chose that route. I was definitely a little nervous or skeptical you could say about what the switch was going to look like and how the network would perform but once I got my SIM card in the mail and threw it in my phone I was able to make phone calls immediately and my speed test was above what I had expected 100+Mb Down/ 18Mb Upload! I called customer care to get some clarification about a few things and confirm that I had set up the account correctly for the Redemption of months 2 and 3 and wouldn't be expected to pay anything further for the next 3 months plus I didn't like the area code I was assigned so I requested a new number, the Customer Care Representative (Ab.Fettah) went above and beyond my expectations and made the whole transaction a breeze with his easy manner and complete knowledge of Lyca Mobiles offerings, i walked away after our call already decided that I would be buying a 6 month package at the end of my 3 month welcome offer. I should have switched sooner!
