Happened 5th time in 2 years, No network and “threshold Limit reached”

Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that…

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.

SIM SWAP I ordered an ESIM little did I know I have to have a physical SIM

UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

I received a SIM card from Lyca Mobile…

I received a SIM card from Lyca Mobile today in a FedEx envelope. I've never heard of them and didn’t order a SIM card. The whole thing seems like a scam. On Google it says they're based in England and run by a middle eastern company. They also enclosed an invoice for $12.86 with a return address in Newark NY. I'm throwing the whole thing out. Would like to know if anyone else got a FedEx from them.

Gekauftes Produkt: Für 2 Personen jew. 5GB Daten, unlimited calls, 1 Monat Laufzeit, physische SIM-Karte. Erfahrungen: - Zustellung ins Hotel erfolgte per FedEx, war schnell und problemlos. - Telefonie funktionierte bei beiden Karten nicht, nur Daten, und diese unzuverlässig auch bei guter Netzabdeckung. - Tatsächliches inkludiertes Datenvolumen war nur ca. die Hälfte des versprochenen Wertes (2,5 GB statt 5GB). - Achtung, Kauf bewirkt eine nach EU-Recht unzulässige Abo-Falle (siehe auch die Beiträge anderer Kommentatoren). Falls Sie schon gekauft und kein Abo bestellt haben war, diese Tips: 1. Kreditkarte für diesen Anbieter sperren nach erstmaliger Bezahlung des Produktes. 2. Auftragsbestätigung prüfen: Ist "auto-renewal" (=Abo) angekreuzt, auch wenn nicht bestellt? Dann über Website/Account versuchen, das Abo zu stornieren. 3. Wenn bereits rechtswidrige Abo-Belastung erfolgt ist, diese Belastung beim Anbieter ihrer Kreditkaete anfechten. Hat bei mir zu sofortiger Gutschrift geführt, nach wenigen Sekunden.

This is the most infuriating experience…

This is the most infuriating experience I’ve ever had with ANY company. LYCAMOBILE.com is a straight-up SCAM. Let me break it down for everyone loud and clear: I paid $10.52 + $68.25 = $78.77 on April 29, 2025 to get MY DAD’S number unblocked. They said “It’ll take 24 to 48 hours.” Well guess what? Today is June 13, 2025 – IT’S STILL NOT UNBLOCKED! On top of that, I also have an active $29 plan for my dad that I’m paying for. So don’t even try to say the account isn’t active or up to date. It’s FULLY PAID. I call them almost every other day. The customer service? DISGUSTING. RUDE. USELESS. The girls on the line HANG UP on me – TWO to THREE TIMES in one call. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. when I called TODAY still same issues Here is my reference no.106522972. I also called on Monday, June 9, and NOTHING. Same excuses. Let me be very clear: My dad is elderly, he doesn’t speak English, and he’s not in good health. He lives with me and if something happens while I’m at work and HE CAN’T MAKE OUTBOUND CALLS? That’s on this company. That’s NEGLIGENCE. They even admitted the fault is on THEIR END, and STILL nothing is fixed. This company should not be allowed to operate. I am giving them until the end of June 13, 2025 – if this isn’t fixed, I will be taking legal action. To everyone reading this: DO NOT TRUST LYCAMOBILE.They will take your money, give you the runaround, and treat you like garbage when you try to get help. This company is disgusting. Not a good customer service

Not a good customer service. Phone calls never get connected or you keep waiting for several hours before getting connected if you have lucky day. Chat bot is waste. Not sure why it is created. Even for simple things, like checking your current plan or how many months are in reserve, you need to call. Why those data are not available in online account. If you can provide a good service then at least provide the information in online account so that customer don't have to call.
