Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS
Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.
UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

I purchased a Lyca Mobile eSIM some time ago, but I do not recognize the number associated with it. For the past 6 months, Lyca Mobile has been charging me $34.65 every month, including the most recent charge in July. This number is not known to me, and I never authorized these recurring payments. I’ve contacted Lyca Mobile multiple times asking them to cancel the service and stop charging me, but they have done nothing to resolve the issue. This situation is not my fault, yet I’m being charged month after month for a service I don’t recognize and cannot use. The lack of support and accountability is shocking. I strongly advise others to stay away from Lyca Mobile to avoid similar issues.

Don't trust them? Looks like they are bogus company. No customer service. Live agents hang up on your face. Noone receives the call. Soon after you reach customer service you will get suspicious fedex email telling your package is in hold in custom clearance.

BUYER BEWARE. This company is near impossible to get any customer service from. My esim worked for sa very short time in the first month and when I went to cancel it via the message on my pnone all i got was an 'error message'. I have tried calling the Netherlands, emailing ... it is not worth your trouble. Buy elsewhere. In the fb page some people have said that their payment accounts have been hacked and money gone.

I'm abroad and suddenly VoWiFi stopped working, which means I cannot make or receive any calls. Customer Service is a disgrace. They don't reply to emails, the hotline waiting times are horrible, and when they do pick up they pretend they can't hear you and hang up.

I had one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences with Lycamobile. I attempted to port my number from my previous provider to Lycamobile starting June 14, and it has been nothing but a nightmare since. Despite countless calls to their customer service, all I received were false promises — every agent assured me that my SIM would be activated within 24 hours. That never happened. My previous provider deactivated my old service during this process, and thanks to Lycamobile’s complete failure, I have been left without any service or access to my number for over 10 days. I’ve missed important calls, been cut off from essential services, and no one at Lycamobile seems to care or take ownership of this situation.Their customer support is unresponsive and unhelpful, and I feel completely let down. I would strongly caution anyone considering Lycamobile — if this is how they handle porting and customer issues, I can only imagine how bad it would be with anything else. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I would give 0 had there been an option. LycaMobile customer service is really really really bad. They say you have options to cancel auto renewal on your own using a number from your mobile or through LycaMobile account but none of this works. Their customer service reps are the worst with zero customer service experience.

I think this company is just a scam I started my service last month and when they went to renew my plan for the 2nd month there was a problem with my payment going through at midnight and my plan was canceled at midnight but my card company would not let the charger go through because it seemed fraudulent tried to correct that that next day was told that I would receive an email when they had it fixed and my promotion will be put back into effect didn't receive any emails called back once again the next day was told that no promotions over I can go back online and pay full price that was double the amount the promotion was for so I asked for my account number and pin so I could go somewhere else, they informed me that I cannot get my account number or pin unless I had active service so I could purchase another service plan and they would give me my number back. I asked to speak to the supervisor they transferred me I was on hold for an hour and then they disconnected me called back the next day when they were open again spoke to somebody after being on hold for a long period of time was transferred to the supervisor this time I got to speak with the supervisor who wasn't any more help than anybody else. He also told me that I'd have to purchase a $15 plan if I wanted to get my number back that I've had for 15 years so I gave in and purchased it just so I can get my account number and pin and leave their company. I have never in my life had a customer service agency who didn't even offer me another promotion or anything to keep me I think they get you in with the promotions cancel you and then expect you to pay full price and on top of that no matter what if you want your number you have to purchase a plan with them. After speaking with him before he could take care of my account number and pin I was on hold again for quite a while and disconnected once again called back was on hold forever finally got through had to pay them $15 and got my account number and pin I will be leaving them as soon as possible do not go with this company they are not interested in the customer they're not interested in helping anyone even when it's clearly their fault.

CS is really slow and still has not solved their scams. I have been charged 11 times since I wrote my first review in April. At that time I had been charged 11 times as well. Never did I think Lycamobile would take so long, I didn't request to change the card. Now I really regret it 😭😭😭
