Happened 5th time in 2 years, No network and “threshold Limit reached”

Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.

SIM SWAP I ordered an ESIM little did I know I have to have a physical SIM

UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

Lycamobile Suspended My Family’s Lines for No Reason – 10 Days Without Service!

I initially gave a five-star rating when I transferred four lines—mine and my family’s—from T-Mobile to Lycamobile. However, I now regretfully rate them with one star, and if I could give zero, I would. Since the transfer, Lycamobile has suspended all four lines, falsely claiming that I attempted to recharge using the same credit card unnecessarily. In reality, I never manually recharged—the plan renews automatically every month. Their system mistakenly flagged a fraudulent financial attempt, despite the fact that all four lines were prepaid in advance, and my credit card was already added as a continuous payment method. Because of this flawed system, they shut down all four lines, leaving me completely unable to communicate with my wife and children—and vice versa. It has now been 17 days of endless calls to customer service and multiple emails, to which they falsely claim they will respond within 24 to 48 hours—yet 17 days have passed, and they are still holding my lines hostage, lines I have used for the past eight years. To make matters worse, their latest ridiculous email requests an ID for my children, even though my children do not have any IDs in the first place!

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Lyca Mobile's customer service. I requested a billing statement and was told I would receive it within 24-48 hours—but nothing arrived. Upon following up, I was informed that a mistake was made with my initial request, and a new one was created, but this time they said it would take five more days despite my urgent need for the document. I escalated the matter to a supervisor, who assured me that it would be prioritized and delivered within 24-48 hours—but again, nothing. After waiting and calling back multiple times, I kept receiving conflicting information from different representatives, with each one pushing the timeline back even further. Shockingly, one supervisor even hung up on me during a call! It has been two weeks, and I still haven't received the document. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is appalling. If you need timely and reliable service, do not rely on Lyca Mobile—they consistently make promises they fail to keep. This has been a stressful and disappointing experience. I expected better from a major telecom provider. Avoid Lyca Mobile if you value customer support and responsiveness.
