Customer Service just hung up on me.

I have been using Lycamobile for about three months, and everything worked fine in the beginning. However, during the last month, I had no mobile signal or internet connection at all, despite my plan being active. I sent an email to customer support but received no reply. After trying to call several times, I finally got through to someone. Unfortunately, the person sounded like they were just reading from a script. When I asked for an explanation and whether I could get a refund — since I paid for a service I couldn’t use — the agent simply said, “No offer here.” I calmly explained the situation again, asking how they could charge for a service that was completely unavailable, and the agent hung up on me. This was a very frustrating experience and reflects extremely poor customer service. I hope Lycamobile takes this seriously and improves both communication and support quality.

My abonnement is supposed to cost…

My abonnement is supposed to cost €12.50, but last months €25 has been deducted from my account without explanation. I tried calling customer service — after waiting 15 minutes, I finally spoke to a lady who said she could only see basic info and would transfer me to someone else. I was then left on hold for another 20 minutes, but no one picked up. It’s impossible to reach anyone. I also sent an email explaining the issue, but I haven’t received any reply. Very disappointed with the lack of support and transparency. I just want a clear answer as to why I’m being overcharged and some proper customer service. Extremely bad customer service and scam rates. Update: a week ago you answered my feedback that I have to send email which you mentioned. Fyki: I sent email, but I didn’t get any reply back.

They have not solved my problem yet

They have not solved my problem yet. I have been waiting for three days. The treatment is very bad. Everyone lies to me and says that your problem will be solved in an hour. Until now, I have not received the package that I requested.

They charge you upfront for 12 months…

They charge you upfront for 12 months and after admitting the mistake they never refund you . You charge me £54.00 upfront 12 months, you should charge every month £4.50 not £54. Then when I complain what you did black list my mobile number because I call the bank to stop payment to you. Check your bank account they charge you fraudulent and never refund you.scam company.

5 juni 25 een eenmalige prepaid opwaardering gedaan met mijn creditcard. 9 juli 25 wordt er wederom een afschrijving gedaan van mijn creditcard. Volgens de klantenservice heb ik gekozen voor een maandelijkse automatische opwaardering, de optie staat automatisch aangevinkt en had ik moeten opletten om de optie uit te zetten. Nou dit verhaal is onzin, want er is afgeschreven maar er heeft geen opwaardering plaats gevonden. Kortom, bestel niks bij Lyca met je creditcard!!!

I added €30 to my balance

I added €30 to my balance, but it hasn’t been reflected in my real account balance. I contacted support multiple times, but received no resolution — just generic responses saying they’re going to help. Instead of adding real credit, Lyca gave me promotional balance, which I cannot use for anything. This is frustrating and unacceptable. I paid for real credit, not unusable promotional funds. Lyca amateur bedrijf

Helaas, na drie weken van herhaaldelijk contact met de klantenservice van Lycamobile, werd er een bedrag van tien euro overgezet naar een nieuwe simkaart. Maar opnieuw, toen ik probeerde te bellen, werd de simkaart alleen verbonden met de klantenservice. Ik nam contact op met Lyca om het probleem op te lossen, maar hun incompetente medewerker verbrak meerdere keren het gesprek en zette mij herhaaldelijk in de wacht. Uiteindelijk vroeg hij mij om nogmaals vijf euro op te waarderen, terwijl ik bij ontvangst van de simkaart al tien euro had opgewaardeerd en dat bedrag nog steeds als tegoed beschikbaar is. Toen ik hem vroeg welke garantie ik heb dat het probleem zich niet opnieuw voordoet na het opwaarderen van vijf euro, zei hij simpelweg dat ik het gewoon moet doen! Dit is klantenservice? Lyca, dit is geen Noord-Korea! Het telefoonnummer waarop tien euro tegoed staat is 0687368411, en dat bedrag moet worden overgezet naar nummer 0687300702. Zonder twijfel zal ik, na gebruik van dit tegoed, nooit meer gebruikmaken van de waardeloze service van uw bedrijf.

Very very disappointing customer…

Very very disappointing customer experience, I purchased monthly bundles several times, and there was no payment update on MyLyca Portal or website on the payment, No email of a bill either, I needed a bill to claim the monthly mobile bill, Tried customer support many times, which led to hugely delayed email replies,, and what ever we pay for bundles, is not properly updated to our portal. If you ever want,, disappointing and frustrating customer service, go for Lyca,, I am about to change my cim, Do not want to see anyone else struggling.

Impossible to cancel auto-renewal

Lyca intentionally makes it incredibly difficult to cancel the auto-renewal option for any phone plans. I am still at a loss on how to cancel it and am helplessly watching my money be stolen. The feature on the app and desktop version as I have both tried does not work. You go to turn off auto-renewal and it simply does not work, it asks you "Please review details as below- Kindly enter valid Cancel Date" then gives you no option to do anything but hit close. Then nothing happens. When I tried to cancel via the AI customer service support, the chat crashes once I finally get to the point of trying to cancel it. This is one of countless issues I have had using lyca mobile NL for the last 5 months.

Terrible unethical company

Terrible unethical company. BEWARE. I signed up for Lyca Mobile to use while visiting Europe for a month. It worked well, but for some reason they never sent me a phone number and my eSim would not register the phone number. The service to dial 1220 or something to give you your phone number did not work. Without the phone number you cannot log in to your Lyca account to top up, cancel, or anything else. I emailed multiple times asking for the phone number. They didn't reply for weeks. Finally, they replied and just repeated what's on their website about dialing 1220 to get your phone number. Beyond useless. Then I leave Europe and go home, I notice they are still charging me. So I email again to cancel it. No reply. Finally I call. They say they need my phone number to cancel it. I say you never gave me my phone number. They refuse to cancel the service without the phone number which they never provided and which is 100% imposssible to obtain. At this point I had no choice but to go to my credit card company and block the merchant. I also had to cancel my credit card to prevent them making further charges. They cost me money and so much headache. NEVER USE LYCA MOBILE. Awful unethical company. This is in fact the single worst customer service/overall business experience I've ever had with any company EVER. [EDIT ON JULY 17: See the reply below where they say "For further assistance, please reply to (their email)". Well I did that immediately 2 weeks ago and never heard back! It's all a big scam to seem like they have customer service when really they don't. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS. IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU ARE SCREWED, THEY WILL IGNORE YOU FOREVER]

I recently called my phone provider Lycamobile with an inquiry, and I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. Mr. Mejun, the representative who assisted me, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. He clearly knew exactly how to resolve my issue and guided me through the process with ease. It's refreshing to speak with someone so competent and personable. Thank you, Mr. Mejun, for such excellent customer service!
