Terrible unethical company
Terrible unethical company. BEWARE. I signed up for Lyca Mobile to use while visiting Europe for a month. It worked well, but for some reason they never sent me a phone number and my eSim would not register the phone number. The service to dial 1220 or something to give you your phone number did not work. Without the phone number you cannot log in to your Lyca account to top up, cancel, or anything else. I emailed multiple times asking for the phone number. They didn't reply for weeks. Finally, they replied and just repeated what's on their website about dialing 1220 to get your phone number. Beyond useless. Then I leave Europe and go home, I notice they are still charging me. So I email again to cancel it. No reply. Finally I call. They say they need my phone number to cancel it. I say you never gave me my phone number. They refuse to cancel the service without the phone number which they never provided and which is 100% imposssible to obtain. At this point I had no choice but to go to my credit card company and block the merchant. I also had to cancel my credit card to prevent them making further charges. They cost me money and so much headache. NEVER USE LYCA MOBILE. Awful unethical company. This is in fact the single worst customer service/overall business experience I've ever had with any company EVER. [EDIT ON JULY 17: See the reply below where they say "For further assistance, please reply to (their email)". Well I did that immediately 2 weeks ago and never heard back! It's all a big scam to seem like they have customer service when really they don't. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS. IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG YOU ARE SCREWED, THEY WILL IGNORE YOU FOREVER]
