No even think of changing your provider to this

I port-in from 48 to this because I thought i the offer they had was better, the port-in never happened i called them approximately 20 times in 5 days, wrote emails and the never provided me a solution they just stated “they cannot do anything but follow up” AWFUL SERVICE, do not even think to change your provider to this. Highly not recommended it

Very Disappointed – No Service Abroad After Network Update

I'm very disappointed with Lycamobile Ireland. I'm currently on holiday abroad and my phone number has completely stopped working. I have no internet access, can’t make calls, and can’t send or receive texts. Before the recent network update, I never had any issues using my phone abroad – it always worked smoothly. Now I feel completely disconnected, and it’s frustrating and even unsafe not being able to contact anyone. There was no proper warning or help from Lyca, and I still don’t know what I need to do to fix this. I’m also unsure whether the service will automatically start working again once I return to Ireland. Poor service and lack of support. I expected better.

Extremely Disappointed After Recent Upgrade

After the recent upgrade, my mobile service has become almost unusable. I barely have internet access—around 90% of the time it's either extremely slow or completely unavailable. Before the upgrade, everything was working fine. On top of that, I sometimes don’t receive calls at all. Instead, I get a message saying I missed a call, even though my phone never rang. This is extremely frustrating, especially when expecting important calls. I emailed Lycamobile customer service two weeks ago, but haven’t received any response. The lack of support is unacceptable. Overall, the service has significantly declined since the upgrade, and it’s causing real inconvenience. I hope these issues are addressed urgently.

unreliable with little to no customer service

I have had recurring issues with Lyca for almost a year now. After the activation process didn´t work and I contacted them via phone (do expect to wait a solid 30min to get through to someone that may or may not be able to help you) they managed to at least get my plan up and running. However since then I have on multiple occasions lost complete connection (signal/internet etc.) for up to 48h in a row. My phone either shows "no sim" or "no signal" and no restart, turning the eSIM on/off or flight mode has helped. I have again tried to call to resolve this to no avail. This is my final straw and I will change provider now.

Extremely Disappointing – Avoid Lyca Mobile

I ordered a SIM card with a prepaid plan from Lyca Mobile, and it never arrived. I waited far longer than their stated delivery window, and there was no communication, no tracking, and no way to know what happened to my order. Their customer service was frustratingly unhelpful. It felt like they were just passing me around, offering scripted apologies but no real solution. I had to fight to get a refund, and even that took more time and effort than it should have. Honestly, I don’t know how this company is still in business with this level of service. If you’re thinking of trying Lyca Mobile—don’t. Save yourself the headache and go with a provider that actually delivers what you pay for. Regards Jonas Farias

Shockingly bad company

Shockingly bad company. Customer service is dire. But the worst thing is their website, which is awful to use. It locks you out if you enter the wrong password twice and its not possible to see what you are typing as the view what your typing button does not work. And the login page is so poorly designed that google does not know how to autofill it. You cant even paste into the username.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY! Paid for a eSIM for traveling in Ireland for a month. Now keeps charging my card random amounts and Customers service says they can’t do anything. *update, tried to login as they have suggested below (Back and forth with CS for 2 weeks and was never given that suggestion) . I don’t have it noted anywhere neither confirmation order nothing of a lyca mobile number.. also maybe as it’s an eSIM. So again, stuck.

Very bad customer service.

Very bad customer service. I made a top on 6th May and for the mail conformation. but the amount was not credited on My account, So on the same day i contacted the customer service on the phone and they advised to send an Email. I sent the mail on the same day, and started to contact them each day (Spend around one hour each day) and every day they are saying sent the mail and wait for the reply... At last after one month i got the reply and said the the amount was credited on a different number, and offered "Do you want the refund" / "credit" I choose refund. Then after one week they came back to me and said they cant give you the refund as the credit was started to use. Then I suggested for the credit. Then after another week they said they cant give the credit as well. Really disappointed.

I tried to recharge for my friend who…

I tried to recharge for my friend who came to Austria from Ireland (for roaming data) and 15 (5+10) euros just disappeared from my bank account and got nothing. Also, their website is tricky that before you buy a package, other options are also selected by default.

Lo acabo de desactivar

Lo acabo de desactivar. Llevo como unos 4 meses pagados pero no disfrutados. Dinero tirado a la basura. Nunca tengo datos en la calle y finalmente debo tirar de mis datos por roaming, y nunca me llegan sms ni llamadas. Necesitaba un número irlandés, pero entre esto y nada es lo mismo.

Worse customer service ever

Worse customer service I have ever dealt with. 6 months and I am still trying sort this problem out. I had a Samsung phone and a Lyca esim. Phone broke and I have not had use of my numer since December 2024. They ask for information tat I cannot provide, last 2 dialled numbers. I am partially deaf and and only use my phone for texting. I am told that they can't use these numbers to gain access. Absolute useless, it gives me no confidence to continue with them.

Should’ve Gone with the Carrier Pigeon

Three weeks after my last review and, unbelievably, things have managed to get worse. My eSIM has now completely stopped working. I went all the way to the Apple Store to rule out any issue with my iPhone — turns out the problem is (surprise!) Lyca Mobile’s network. So now I’m stuck with a totally useless eSIM, while the subscription I already paid for keeps happily renewing. I contacted customer support via email on Thursday morning. It’s now Tuesday. Still no reply. Honestly, as someone else brilliantly put it, a carrier pigeon would’ve been faster — and probably more helpful too. At this point, I’ve been with Lyca Mobile for about six months, and I can confidently say the SIM has given me more trouble than actual service. In fact, I think signing up for the yearly plan was probably the worst decision I’ve made in a long time. Lesson learned — never again.
