No even think of changing your provider to this

I port-in from 48 to this because I thought i the offer they had was better, the port-in never happened i called them approximately 20 times in 5 days, wrote emails and the never provided me a solution they just stated “they cannot do anything but follow up” AWFUL SERVICE, do not even think to change your provider to this. Highly not recommended it

Very Disappointed – No Service Abroad After Network Update

I'm very disappointed with Lycamobile Ireland. I'm currently on holiday abroad and my phone number has completely stopped working. I have no internet access, can’t make calls, and can’t send or receive texts. Before the recent network update, I never had any issues using my phone abroad – it always worked smoothly. Now I feel completely disconnected, and it’s frustrating and even unsafe not being able to contact anyone. There was no proper warning or help from Lyca, and I still don’t know what I need to do to fix this. I’m also unsure whether the service will automatically start working again once I return to Ireland. Poor service and lack of support. I expected better.

Extremely Disappointed After Recent Upgrade

After the recent upgrade, my mobile service has become almost unusable. I barely have internet access—around 90% of the time it's either extremely slow or completely unavailable. Before the upgrade, everything was working fine. On top of that, I sometimes don’t receive calls at all. Instead, I get a message saying I missed a call, even though my phone never rang. This is extremely frustrating, especially when expecting important calls. I emailed Lycamobile customer service two weeks ago, but haven’t received any response. The lack of support is unacceptable. Overall, the service has significantly declined since the upgrade, and it’s causing real inconvenience. I hope these issues are addressed urgently.

unreliable with little to no customer service

I have had recurring issues with Lyca for almost a year now. After the activation process didn´t work and I contacted them via phone (do expect to wait a solid 30min to get through to someone that may or may not be able to help you) they managed to at least get my plan up and running. However since then I have on multiple occasions lost complete connection (signal/internet etc.) for up to 48h in a row. My phone either shows "no sim" or "no signal" and no restart, turning the eSIM on/off or flight mode has helped. I have again tried to call to resolve this to no avail. This is my final straw and I will change provider now.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. No alone am I having issues with my service. My husband has no mobile service for nearly 3 weeks and despite dealing with customer and technical Service, he cannot port his number out and they do not respond to technical issues in a timely manner. As a solicitor this is a consumer rights issue, and have raised this issue with the regulator. Be warned do not go near this company. My husband needed to call for medical assistance and he had not service. This company does not care it is putting peoples lives at risk.

IT'S A SCAM

I see that this happened with a few other people as well. I tried to buy a data plan but it said that the transaction failed. The amount was charged from my bank account though. I wrote an few emails to them but they said i gave them too little information. The customer service is terrible and make zero effort to help. They didn't answer any of my questions in the email either. They keep asking me for my Lyca mobile and account details and i keeps telling them I DON'T HAVE ONE because the DAMN purchase didn't go through and just STOLE my money. When called them, the automated voice thing was confusing to understand and i didn't know which one to pick so I made it repeat a few times. It then ended the call and when i couldn't call them back because whenever i tried doing so, they would just end the call. In the beginning I thought it was just a small mistake on their end and i was still trying to find a way to get the data plan. Changed my mind after seeing their customer service. I'm glad I read the other reviews. I'm 100% going back to Tesco mobile. Remember if it's too good to be true,chances are it's a scam. Whoever gave Lyca Mobile 5 stars is probably being paid to give good reviews. Definitely would not recommend.

To everyone who considers this…

To everyone who considers this… FRAUDSTERS! To everyone who considers this "operator" DON'T. YOU WILL REGRET IT. This is not a proper mobile phone provider, but a pathetic scam artist. They reduce your broadband speed from the very beginning so THERE IS NO INTERNET! claiming that more than 100GB have been used in the first day of use. They make it virtually impossible to cancel the automatic auto renew or top up ( whatever the difference is) THESE SCUM SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE IN IRELAND AS THEY PROVIDE NO SERVICE BUT KEEP CUSTOMERS MONEY. Their moronic "customer service" is a complete and utter waste of time. Going to get my money back through my credit card as I received zero service.

Very poor customer service and technical support is not existent

This company must have the worst customer service ever. I have lived in the USA and Ireland and have used many phone companies but the people in the call centres try to rush you off the phone and don’t care about your issue. I already made a complaint about my wife who is a new customer and although I received some feedback when I was informed they would further follow up with me, no one bothered. Be that as it may, I moved my service trusting them this was a minor issue. I had service with them for one day and decided to port my number over on Sunday. It is now Tuesday and despite multiple calls to their tech department. Representatives telling me my issue would be fixed and or escalating me to a supervisor whose phone simply rings out for over 10 mins with no answer —— I am still left with no service. You heard correct. In 2024, I mobile company which is considered an essential utility does not care and leaves you with no network access going on 2 days. This is a horrible service and was willing to give them a change but it is true, what you pay for is what you get. If my service is not fixed by today shall return to Vodafone who are at least Reliable.

Scamer scamers scamers stay away

No no no no no stay far away from lyca mobile there just a big Scam just ordered a 10 euro esim theh charged my bank account then told me the transaction failed gave no reference no or transaction Id no phone number email nothing or any way to reference my order and when I rang them they told me nothing they could do without a transaction id and they can't search my order using my name and email address so they basically just robbed me steam clear of them they are jusy scamming people and
