deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. Bad mortgage rates. I am happy I have a gcmai system to help me earn capital otherwise I would be in a very bad financial situation. Happy that Lloyds gave me a mortgage but it was a lot of pain until we got there.. jeez..

What bunch of clowns.im surprised they are allowed to run a bank. Wanted to dispute a transaction but Lloyds wanted writen proof from the company that made the product to show how they qualified to diagnosis the problem.

O wow where do I start over 25 years…

O wow where do I start over 25 years with this bank and they have now taken a massive dive to become an unprofessional not fit for purpose company… I payed for an item and 3 days later another payment was taken without my permission.. I contacted Lloyds and 5 customer service agents … omg first a nice lady tried to transfer me to the fraud team … half hour later answer a lady with a Nigerian accent music playing in the back ground sounded like she had just woken up and answered with em hello as if she wasn’t expecting a phone call … a kid playing in the background playing a zilaphone loudly … so unprofessional I asked if she actually works for Lloyds bank fraud team and she said I am loyds bank I was worried that the call had been transferred to some random person so I said I’m not confident in this call … I then called the number on the back of my card again and the lady tried everything for me not to speak to the fraud team finally the last advisor transferred me th man explained I was best of making a dispute… regardless of this the payment I didn’t authorise is counted as a disput so any one is aloud to take multiple payments with out your permission wow not a bank I trust anymore I will be withdrawing every penny and moving to a professional bank with morals and a system that is fit for purpose…. Lloyds I am disappointed disgusted and shocked and will be taking my 25years loyalty away from you I hope others do the same

I wouldn't trust these clowns with your money, they can't read, let alone add up!!!!! I have been returning mail for 6 years for a previous tenant with a request to stop all future mailings......but yet they still keep sending mail. Clowns.

Frauds

Money is not safe. My card was frozen still someone made an online purchase and when I call then they said its not our fault. My card was frozen how can someone use it? And how is it my fault? Money is not safe with them. Don't trust them.

I went through Lloyds Bank Bradford…

I went through Lloyds Bank Bradford Branch and the lady let me withdraw a huge amount without asking me questions. Next day I got a message from Lloyds Bank saying they closing my account within 65 days. I called them up and I complained then they investigated and said it won't impact credit score and they send a letter to confirm this. I was very worried because I thought they was lying. I used the app to get in touch with the advisor to find out if the complaints manager is right. 2 advisors said it will and now 2 people lied to me and this is stressful. I'm moving to another branch they even accused me of doing fraud just I forgot my own transaction. This is totally useless and unforgivable because I'm a human being. I even told them the truth and I said I'm the one that withdrew the money. To this day they still not listening. The advisors are useless and they should get sacked for lying to me and other customers. I'm still complaining to this day. I wouldn't even give Lloyds Bank customer service a 1 it's a minus for me. Never trust Lloyds Bank and change account. The advisors don't know what they doing. If the advisors don't know then ask the manager stop making lies and making things up.i will never go back to Lloyds Bank in the near future.

Online account that cannot be closed online

Happy with the normal account I have. yet I have an online share dealing E-investment account. Which is now empty yet still being charged £38 a year for having it open. This is an ONLINE account. Which you cannot close online. I was told to go to the branch and you know what. I do not have the correct ID at this time to prove who i am. So cannot close the account. I would of thought you could just log in once you have withdrawn your funds and close the account. Not possible to close the online account ONLINE. I could block the £38 fee and let them contact me. But people keep threating to take me to court when i do that sort of thing. Tends to be my answer to most problems Stop payment and never pay it.

Rubbish service from Lloyds, and they couldn't care less

I switched to Lloyds from Metrobank (who were frankly EVEN worse) on the advice of my husband, who has been long-term with Lloyds. But still so disappointed!!! First, every week or so I get not ONE but about FIVE (I have only ONE account) emails, all sent in a row, warning me of the latest scam. Second, when I harmlessly tried to log on yesterday, I was directed to a crazy form. (Why was it mad? Well, I happened to born in Seoul, of US diplomatic parents. The form would NOT ALLOW ME to put in the country (OR the citizenship) of my birth. The form also utterly refused to accept that I am no longer a US citizen. When I called Lloyds, I was put through to a very helpful guy called Pranab, who was, despite his every effort, unable to assist. His best advice was to show up at my nearest Lloyds bank, and good luck with that, as they've closed most of them. As have almost every other bank. Oh, and then, when I wished to complain to a manager, he promised that they'd call me. Did they? Of course not!

Asking increased overdraft

I a have been with Lloyd's over 30 years and have generally very helpful but needed to increase my overdraft they said would have to see adviser who was off sick until October and gave me a number to ring as I dont do not do mobile are internet banking have tried to do this no help just given different phone numbers when you finally get through cut off no customer service in branch to assist everything automated difficult to speak to a person and I think why should I have to change my way of banking when I dont want to disappointing

The worst customer service call I had for a long time

The worst customer service call I had for a long time. The representative was rude and effectively lied that I didn't exist on the business account, just to finish the call. After I pressed more for info, she found my details and still couldn't figure out how to resolve the issue. 45min wasted. There are definitely better banks to choose from and would never advise anyone to go with Lloyds
