I have had problems for the past 6 years with my medication. My first appointment was a week ago and on that day my doctor wanted all my medical records and scheduled a test for me to take that same week! Everything from my initial phone call to scheduling my appointment and payment was a breeze . I finally felt I could breathe again I’m happy with the service and even happier with my Doctor . Thank You ☺️

I had a great experience with Dr. Jean Cadet. He listens and observes until you get the diagnoses and meds if needed to get you on track. He will try a lot of different methods, meds request referrals and go the extra mile to get you the help you need. He provides in office and telehealth options for treatment. He’s knowledgeable about general medicine, as he should, to make sure prescribed medicines don’t give you a negative interaction with whatever else you’re taking. He will answer questions with no issues or attitude. The office personnel are professional and take confidentiality seriously. I recommend this provider to anyone struggling with finding the right solution. I can’t speak on therapists as I didn’t use this service from this company.

I have been going to LifeStance for therapy sessions with Jennifer for a couple of months. She is fantastic!! She listens and takes my questions and issues seriously. All of the staff is great. I would recommend LifeStance to anyone that has mental health concerns.

I couldn't be happier with my experience, so it's disheartening to read the other negative reviews. Just like therapy in person, you have to read up on potential therapists and whether you feel they will be a good fit. And if they are not a good fit, find another. LifeStance is not marketing itself as a magic bullet, so I think the expectations are a little too unrealistic.

I was truly disappointed in this company. I was seeking a male therapist for my troubled son who had various mental health conditions. He was given Kevin Larkins who at first appeared he was gravely concerned with his behaviors and that he could resonate with him. He gave me this spill how we have to take care of our young black men and he grew up in the hood and blah blah blah. He would say he would come to see my son on our side of town and on those days he wouldn't even answer the phone nor respond to texts. My sons behavior worsened and was intolerable for me as a mom. I was desperately looking for help to save my son from future incarceration and needed an urgent intervention! I did not get that at all. All he did during our virtual visits was discuss a balance that shouldn't of been there because his staff never uploaded my Tricare to the system. I personally thought it was unethical to bring that up during a virtual visit but that just assured me there was no true genuineness in this man! It was just about the money. In my 17 years working alongside healthcare professionals Ive never seen a Dr ask a client about billing issues. Thats why you have a billing department sir. That wasnt it he told me that my son was a lost cause and there was no hope for him. My son heard this! It enraged me but my worst fears came true as my son has been incarcerated since his visit with this fraud of a human being. You have an ethical duty to do no harm and at that sir you failed my son and me. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment to anyone who needs mental health services. Go somewhere where your mental health needs are taken serious and are valued over monetary or insurance claims. 6/2022

My experience is congruent with all of the other one-star (wish could put zero-star) experiences here. They have an F rating at the Better Business Bureau: "BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints. Specifically, consumers allege in their complaints to BBB they are being charged for services that should have been covered by their provided insurance. These consumers advise that their insurance is verified before the services are received from the business yet the consumer is billed. Consumers also allege having issues when working with the business on correcting the billing issues. Lastly, consumers claim to have a difficult time getting in touch with the business at their advertised phone number." Go to Reddit. Look at what employees and clients/patients have to say in forum after forum. Horrible! Only adds to stress to your mental health! I've been working with this organization for 5 weeks. Was assigned a horrible therapist who wound up leaving the organization after 2 sessions with me stating the companies vision didn't align with hers. In addition it is practically IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a human being unless it is about setting up an appt (getting money from you), or billing (getting money from you). There is no way to upload documents directly to their portal for review. Requests for assistance from both staff and Dr. are impossible to get timely...again...did I say MENTAL health? At one point I was told that documents I needed to return to work had been uploaded and taken care of, only to see the original documents with NOTHING updated. In addition, I have not gotten paid in 5 weeks due to their lack of follow up. This organization has done nothing to help me besides give me drugs...increasing dosages, and billing me. DONE!

LifeStance Health was the first mental healthcare provider I have made an appointment with. It was incredibly disappointing, the psychiatrist did not ask questions and the appointments would last no longer than fifteen minutes. However, they would charge me a Level-4 visit, which requires about 30-40 minutes with the patient, plus 20-30 minutes of write up required of the doctor. I can tell you that even if our meetings were 30-40 minutes long, there was no additional work done afterwards because there is no forms or write ups on my profile that I can access from my doctor. Medication was given fairly quickly but it did not feel like they were checking in on whether or not it worked - just billing me monthly for "providing medications" (which was bills on top of paying the pharmacy for medication). If you are even thinking of LifeStance, get ready for bills with no explanations on receipts and no transparency. I would receive bills randomly, months after my appointment so I couldn't even figure out what the reason for it was. They were never upfront how much it would cost either. For someone with anxiety and depression, having random bills appear made everything significantly worse mentally. I genuinely feel like they are taking advantage of people who are at a low point in their life. I had chosen LifeStance because their website looked the most professional out of all the providers in my area, but it was all a facade to cover up their sketchy practices.

My therapist is absolutely wonderful and I like that they send me plenty of reminders. Much better experience than Sondermind. So far I have not had any billing issues although when I first made an appt I got a vm that I needed to add my cc info before 3pm or my appt would be cancelled. Super weird. Even after I added it I got another message after my first appt that it wasn’t in there. Hoping I will not run into any nightmare issues some others are describing but so far so good.

I’ve had no issues with Lifestance Health. Usually I’ve been able to easily change appointments at the Celebration, FL office and they have always changed it to virtual on the same day if needed or allowed me to reschedule when I’ve asked in the appropriate amount of time. I’ve enjoyed my experiences with my clinical social worker and psychiatric nurse practitioner and do see progress over time. I’ve had diagnoses that were accurate and medications that have changed my life positively. I may not be perfect, but I am able to work through life’s challenges a lot easier having their help and trying to use their guidance to get me through it.

I had a telehealth appointment at 5:00pm, I waited until 5:30pm and no one showed up. Despite this, I was charged a $90 no show fee. When I tried to dispute this, they told me the provider DID show up, and I was the one who failed to appear. They are either LYING or gave me a bad link, but unfortunately I have no way to properly dispute this, as I didn't think to take screen shots of the empty room for evidence (which I will do in the future). They have refused to take responsibility and are practically scamming me out of $90, which as a person with low income, I kinda need!

The counselor that I have had through LifeStance has been very helpful to me. I have had nothing but positive experiences with anyone through LifeStance that I have come in contact with. I have had the pleasure of having for right around a year now. I highly recommend LifeStance.

ZERO STARS! As others have said, RUN. I have been trying to get a billing issue resolved for TWO MONTHS. I only got one billing phone call finally, after prompting from my therapist and that was a month and 1/2 ago!! They were supposed to escalate and have a manager call me. I have sent TWELVE pt portal messages, sat on hold for extreme amounts of time, never reaching a live person. At one point I had a patient advocate from my insurance company trying to reach them and even they couldn't!!! An insurance company advocate not able to reach them either?! Two months of this! My mental health is now in shambles with ongoing anxiety and high blood pressure because the bills keep coming anyway and I've had to continuously attempt to reach them unsuccessfully, along with my advocate. They sure can manage to keep sending bills. It's sad because my therapist was wonderful. You will be fine until a billing issue arises and trust me, it will eventually. I'm distraught that I have to find someone else because there's no way I can risk ever going through this again. And I know they're just going to send an automatic copy and pasted response just like all the other responses to the bad ratings, that they truly care, yada yada and please email or call them. I have!!! That's the problem

The entire staff at Frankfort Lifestance office are excellent! Kim at the front desk always has a smile on her face and a friendly greeting. This goes a long way in helping me feel comfortable and like I am a valued patient. I have been to several therapists over the years, but Holli West and Rebecca O'Hair by far are the best! Both Holli and Rebecca are very professional, easy to talk to and genuinely care about my well being. They both have always promptly responded to messages I send over the patient portal. In addition they are very accommodating when I have had to change my in person appointment to a telehealth appointment. I have been a patient with Lifestance in Frankfort for several years and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Thank you for helping and guiding me through the process of making positive changes in my life

I have been seeing Therapist Melissa Short for a year now and she has been wonderful! She listens and asks questions. She has given me tools to use to help with anxiety and stress. I have had no issues with scheduling or with the billing department. Things have gone very smoothly for me!
