Everything went smoothly during my experience. The professional I consulted was knowledgeable and proficient. My opinion of her is nothing but positive. LifeStance was where I turned to during a tough phase in my life. Without my provider, I wouldn’t be here writing this review. She provided a comforting presence and listened attentively to both the positive and negative aspects I confided in her. My treatments lasted close to two years. I wish to show appreciation to her for her caring support. I am grateful for your kindness and it will be remembered by me. Thank you again!

Avoid at all cost!!! I am a disabled Veteran and the VA sent me here because they had no openings for VA care….. 2nd visit with a “professional social worker trained in Trauma and PTSD” … spent my hour driving around in her car while talking to me????? 5th appointment I waited 30 minutes.. no show! No call, text, message… didn’t answer my message. Called the company the following week… they had on there records that she showed up? Waiting to see if they billed VA. The office has NO IDEA what their “professional counselors” are doing!

I have been a client of LifeStance Health for several weeks. I was able to select the perfect provider to help with my specific health needs almost immediately. The staff at this facility has been extremely prompt, professional and pleasant. The combination of having telehealth or in-house appts is very helpful.

Very unprofessional and scatter brained. I scheduled an appointment with a provider named Madison Maskalunas. I joined the session and a woman by the name of Kiara Hernandez hopped on the call to tell me ahead of time that an "adult patient form" was not completed and I should go to the patient portal to complete my "adult patient portal". I asked if it was sent to my email, she said, "yes." Then she said, "oh, that's the problem, you don't have an account yet." She then dropped from the call. I then logged into my existing account via the LifeSource patient portal. I didn't see a form in there. Madison then hopped on the call, said about 2 words and then the call got disconnected. I waited for about 5 to 8 minutes while she reconnected. When she got back on the call she said she was on vacation, technically, and is not in Illinois. Which seems weird given laws around practicing medicine out of state. Made even weirder by the fact that she is technically on vacation. She then disconnected again. Complained about her internet connection. The session was very unprofessional. She kept trying to rush me through the session that she was over 10 minutes late. She then complained that the questionnaire wasn’t complete. I informed her that I’ve completed it 3 times already. She then turned off her camera. She then came back on the call. I asked if I can record this session. She got really scared and said, no no you can’t record this. She’s in AZ. When I asked her if she was recording she said no. She told me that every patient has to be checked in by Kiara. I asked for a last name and she said, “I don’t even have that. It would be someone different regardless.” I’m assuming she was referring to her assistant. But strangely, she also said that Kiara is not her assistant. She then said something along the lines of, “I don’t think I’m the right provider for you.” and something about having a better provider for me. She then said that LifeStance will be reaching out to schedule with another provider.

I have a great therapist!!

Met my new psychiatrist and had a great experience, Jeffrey Hill. Very knowledgeable and informative.

I've been using Lifestance since July 2023. Hands down the best treatment and experience I've had. I've made great progress and found my spark again. I use Lifestance for talk therapy and medication management, 2 different providers. They are consistent, mindful, compassionate, and really take their time to listen to me. I was doing talk therapy for about a year before deciding to go on medication. My therapist never pushed it or brought it up, I was the one to ask about and they provided careful insight on what to anticipate. The first appointment with the medication management provider I was a bit hesitant to start the medication without discussing it with my therapist as I felt the medication provider was a bit pushy (wanted me to start on 5 medications at once). When I discussed this with my therapist, they showed the same concerns I had and advised I get a second opinion. The second medication management provider I met with was an excellent match, really listened to my questions and concerns, took their time to understand my symptoms and explain how medication management would work moving forward. They started me with one medication, low dose, and was excellent at communicating what side effects to look out for and encouraged using the patient platform to message if I needed an appointment sooner than the next scheduled time. I am so thankful for Lifestance. I advise to do your research, look into the providers in your network and to follow your gut if it's not the right fit. I've had bad experiences with other therapy platforms in the past, and I so happy I didn't give up and gave Lifestance a chance

Always constructive meetings with Han. She is a good analyst and provides sound feedback and advice.

Dr Carpenter is hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever worked with.

I currently see a psychiatrist(Hannah Brooks) and a therapist(Kristi Kinlaw), they are both fabulous. They are very attentive and I can truly feel the care they have for thier patients and the treatment. I am forever grateful to have found lifestance.

My therapist Joseph Pfeffer is the absolute best and has been helping me with my mental health journey off and on for about 4 years. I appreciate Lifestance because I can do my appointments virtually which is great for someone with a busy schedule like myself. Highly recommend

I am disabled. I have been dealing with this since 2016 and my diagnosis. I came from the mid West just over two years ago. I found LifeStance Health by word of mouth. I love my Doctor! She listens to me and doesn't rush me to make certain dose or drug changes, she gives me the pros and cons and great suggestions. The front desk staff during calls /visits have been friendly, I've only had a rude interaction maybe twice in the 4 years I have been with LifeStance and I chalked it up to bad days. Price is a bit crazy but I appreciate the knowledge and patience of my doctor so overall I am very happy.

The providers at LifeStance have helped me get through some of the most challenging times in my life and have made it to where I can be seen from the comfort of my own home. I truly grateful for the support of everyone at LifeStance!

The LifeStance platform is easy to use and understand after creating my profile! My provider, Angela Hamm, has been awesome so far as well! Highly recommended!

If I could give you a zero I would. My "Dr" has spent a total of maybe an hour with me since I started with Lifestance about 5 months ago. She is constantly late to our scheduled times, clearly doing other tasks while talking with me, and we end the call after about 5 minutes tops, seriously. She is impossible to get a hold of for renewing prescriptions and she consistently sent the wrong instructions to my pharmacist when I have been able to finally track her down for a refill. The most recent episode caused me to have be out of my prescription for a week. I told them that I no longer would like to work with her so I was surprised when I got a text for an appointment reminder for tomorrow. When I called to cancel and the reasons I was and was told that it would be $150 cancelation fee. I told them that seemed unreasonable given the reasons for the switch (all documented in their system) and they told me that is their policy no changes. So tomorrow I am going to go to the appointment sit there for 10 minutes and tell her that I am switching providers and the only reason I am on is to save $150 which I will be calling my insurance company to dispute. DO NOT USE THEM, look at their reviews on the BBB.

Much as my body dislikes drugs, perhaps if I agreed to Ketamine I might feel happy with my former rude opinionated counselor too. Had I went with my instincts after the second time a red flag began waving.....well I did learn more things about why I have more work to do and that is what I plan to do. I deserve inner peace. I did have a scheduled session for 10/29/2024 at 7A M but she offered me today instead. I am not sorry standing firm when someone gets it wrong. Too bad because I am always in the "Okay, let us do this" But I cannot tolerate being talked down to.
