Disappointing

Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)

Get shafted @ Leonardo Boutique hotels

Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well. SEAFOS DOES NOT OPERATE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL

While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

it doesn't compare to other Leonardo…

it doesn't compare to other Leonardo hotels. I asked for my rooms to be placed together they were put on completelv different floors the receptionist was rude about it . threw my card key at me and said there's nothing I can do. there was no apology nothing. I worked in customer service for a long time and this is not the service I would provide nor is it the service l've come to expect from Leonardo hotels. The bathtub was dirty and stained with was I guess to be an adhesive bath mat. there was dust everywhere even on the pillows I assume the pillows were placed on the floor when the bed was being made. I have yet to receive a reply to the emails I have sent to customer service it goes to show that they just do not care.

Leonardo Hotel Sheffield - great nights stay

We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Sheffield for one night. It was perfect. Hotel clean, close to the train station though generally up hill walk, and reception staff friendly. Room was big, clean, bed comfy. You could open windows, set temperature and the management left a nice little card and a couple of gin and tonics which was such a nice touch. The TV worked well, hair dryer and good assortment of teas etc in the room. Definitely stay here again.

Premier Inn with Prices!

Belfast Formerly Jury's Inn - and NOT to be confused under any circumstances. The words 'Customer Service' are just a spelling test for this lot, they do everything they possibly can to avoid being of use or service. One expects this in a budget hotel, but they're charging the prices for this place. There are NO creature comforts in the rooms - want water, any toiletries etc? buy at reception - you can't put anything on your room, bars, water, etc are all paid upfront. My sister had a double with a sofa bed - when her son visited unexpectedly, they were unable to update the booking at reception, and she had to cancel her booking and rebook online, can you credit it? Every single thing has been pared to the bone, only the location was convenient. Will be trying elsewhere in future, frankly, you're as well off in a Premier Inn.

When booking a hotel Leonardo Hotels will always be our first choice.

I will begin my review with a big thank you to the staff and I would like to give special thanks to Adam and Kate for being so great, providing us with a memorable and great experience. We felt the place became like a second home. Early March we had issues with our boiler so we had to book a hotel and we are so glad it was Leonardo, Hinckley. Later in March once again our boiler broke and we had to book a hotel with extending every night for around a week. Adam and Kate were amazing with professional and friendly service, from ensuring we stayed in the same room to going above and beyond for us during our stay. Despite March being such a stressful month due to their service we were able to enjoy the facilities and food the hotel has to offer. In April 2018 we stayed at Leonardo Hotel in London Tower bridge when I met my now fiancé. Leonardo Hotel will now have further meaning for us - time and time again proving to have great facilities and amazing staff. It’s safe to say when booking a hotel Leonardo Hotels will always be our first choice. Thanks again.

THEFT, POOR SECURITY AND 0 CARE

I stayed at Leonardo Hotel Watford between the 21st - 23rd March 2023. On first impression the hotel was like any other reasonable corporate hotel, however, this hotel is disgracefully poor and senior management has an awful attitude. Whilst there on the 21st March I went out one evening, leaving some personal belongings in the room that I believed to be secure. On return to the room it was quite evident that my room door was ajar. Inside I found to my dismay that around £550 of personal belongings were missing. As anyone who has been in this experience before may be able to empathise with, this was a traumatic and sensitive situation that needed to be handled with a degree of empathy. This is not what was received. The Deputy General manager was quick to blame myself for this event and then throughout the day continued to avoid me - quite literally ducking and diving away from me. I eventually departed the hotel with responses from the hotel fading away. I had raised the following issues: - Fire doors not compliant due to the closing device not working effective - Fire doors not being compliant due to irregular gaps around the frame leaving the passage of smoke to freely pass into the room in the event of a fire - A security procedure that allows anyone on the street to access any floor, lobby and even in my case bedroom! - No cameras outside the entrance lobby's or corporate event rooms The police have even confirmed to me that there have been "a spat" of burglaries since my experience last week. If you do, it may cost you more than you expect and the subsequent events will be messy!! DO NOT USE LEONARDO HOTELS FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION!

Does Leonardo Hotels have ANY advisors who understand English???/

Emailed to ask a price for 1 night stay, room only, with 6 nights parking at E. Midlands. Had to follow this with 4 more emails to communicate our requirements !!!! THEN we were quoted for room AND breakfast despite our departure time of 5am!!!!! Left me wondering if they have ANY customer advisors who understand English???????? Soooooo frustrating. MUCH easier to book a Premier Inn and separate parking as I doubt we will EVER have a a quote for what we need.

Just in the right place

We stayed at the leonardo hotel oxford. We loved the proximity to Oxford City centre,, only 11 minutes away by bus. We loved the bedroom, and was able to upgrade for 4 quid a night,, amazing. We thought the cleanliness overall was really good, i loved the shower and especially as it was anti slip. The breakfast was really good , and had great gluten free options well worth the price, and set us up for a day sightseeing. There were a couple of things which would be helpful, such as having leaflets for tourists at hand, or someone with local knowledge to point us in the right direction

If it was just about the Southampton…

If it was just about the Southampton hotel it’s a lovely hotel and rooms are clean but the hospitality staff are shocking. We had room meal allowances and one night it was a voucher, next night we gave a room number, 3rd night it was a buffet and tonight we got a menu at the desk and asked to tick x1 main, x1 dessert x1 drink which we did. When we queried where our drinks were they said it’s not in the budget but we had been told to tick our options with no mention of only tick 2 options. The drinks were delivered after explaining we were not given the info correctly. I had selected rice with my chicken and it arrived with chips but I was past the point of having it changed! Staff running around like headless chickens and felt like we were an inconvenience.

Excellent stay at Leonardo Hotel in Tower Hill

Stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Tower Hill [London] and it was great. Very helpful staff, great swimming pool and heath facilities. Excellent room, a breakfast that is superb. It's an ideal location to tour from. Please note that internet deals at this hotel do not make clear if breakfast is included or not. You should clarify this when booking.
