Disappointing

Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)

Get shafted @ Leonardo Boutique hotels

Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well. Leonardo hotel - Tel Aviv This business customer ain’t coming back!

Have just booked my 4th visit this year. at Leonardo Hotel Gateshead Quays, fabulous, as always very friendly staff , Ann on reception so helpful, and always give us a welcome as we arrive, the furnishings in bar, and lounge have been renewed, plus an added touch of complementary cold drinks from the dispenser in reception rooms cleaned and all tea coffee and milk , plenty of it every day, the bar staff and resturant staff are fantastic, my next visit already booked

SEAFOS DOES NOT OPERATE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL

While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

Lækkert

Lækkert, pænt og rummeligt. Vi er netop kommet hjem efter en forlænget weekend i Milano på Leonardo City Center Hotel. Skønt hotel i roligt område i Chinatown. Lækre rene og store værelser. Meget skøn morgenmad, med mulighed for at sidde ude på solfyldt område. Kan anbefales. Den manglende stjerne begrundes med mangelfuld opfyldning i morgenbuffet.

Insensitive.

I booked a stay at the Leonardo Hotel Köln for the 18th August, I booked the room back in March. Long before this horrid week happened. In less than a week I have witnessed my close friends in Germany turn in to nervous wrecks due to the frequent violent attacks that have been happening. With one of them being this very morning. My family have told me I am forbidden from going on my holiday, as I was going to very large event. I simply cannot go against my family, I have a very fragile Nan who is on antidepressants and with the recent loss of a close family pet she is already in a terrible state of mind. Me leaving for Germany would do far too much damage to me and my family, more than apparently the hotel understands. I have contacted the hotel through the site which I booked (Expedia) as well as their direct E-mail and Twitter, I wish to cancel my booking and I understand that there may be a penalty fee but I have been told that I will not receive a penny back. This is a situation that was in no way planned, and I expected a little bit of understanding with the current news feed coming from Germany, the payment was not a small amount in the slightest and I really do need some of it back. I am on a 25 hour contract on the bare minimum wage, not even living wage. The hotels response has been 'The events aren't happening in Cologne' and 'There have been no report to shut borders' .. how very insensitive and rude. Regardless of those points, I cannot leave my Nan. Not only that but due to the stress and panic that you have caused I am having to book a trip to my doctor. I have been sick, I have pins and needles in my face, I feel dizzy all the time and I definitely can't drive at this given time let alone get on a plane. I really hate writing bad reviews but when a company makes you mentally and physically sick, I feel it is necessary. I was planning to re-book with you for next year (assuming that everything is better) but after this treatment I am definitely re-considering. All I ask is for a little understanding. I understand this is a unique and complicated situation, but I expected a little more help.

We enjoy,so we go back

We first stayed at The Leonardo Basel 3 years ago for our anniversary.The staff were very pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed it,and so we return at the same time.This year as usual we were welcomed and booked in efficiently,the room was clean and well presented and suited our needs.The only point was you can use the toilet and reach the sink at the same time,but that we considered minor.Breakfasts were the usual Israeli style,with plenty of varied foods to suite everyone.The pool area is clean,pleasant to use,and provides shelter for those who find the sun too hot.It is situated at a very convenient spot on Hayarkon Street,and we were able to walk to many of the main streets and shopping centers.On check out day we were not pressured and we had peace of mind,as they secured our luggage until we left.We can only say good things about the staff,and we will certainly hope to book that hotel next year.
