Disappointing

Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)

Get shafted @ Leonardo Boutique hotels

Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well. SEAFOS DOES NOT OPERATE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL

While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

Dull Dirty and Expensive New Name, same old...

LEONARDO ROYAL EDINBURGH A tourist machine, check in brief and unsmiling. Expensive. Ordered " "Room Service" menu in the bedroom. If I wanted it in my room it was £6. Decided to collect. After a long wait over 30 minutes. I rang down, the call back said it was ready, it had been ready long enough to be overcooked and cold. Guests helped me access the lift with the heavy wooden tray, and open my bedroom door. Left the tray in my room in case someone tripped. 24 hours later it was still on the floor in my bedroom. My tea mug still dirty. OUSIDE MY WINDOW BANKS OF AIR CONDITIONING FANS AND WHEELIE BINS EMPTIED AT CLOSING TIME. £530.20 for 2 nights... I have photos

Very disappointing hotel.

I stayed in the Leonardo royal hotel in Oxford on 1st July 2023. I could not use the ion in room 178 because the plug wires were exposed due to broken plug, the bed side light kept flickering too. We arrived back at 11.45pm to find the bar closed, which was disappointing as we wanted a drink and it's very rare to find the bar closed in a hotel. Not impressed with the tiny bathroom either.

The Midland Hotel - A Home From Home.

The Midland Hotel, Manchester. I am a frequent guest at this hotel and this stay was my most important by far. I was in Manchester for my Son’s wedding. I had been allocated a Mezzanine suite by the Guest Relations Team so that my Son could stay with me the night before his wedding. Dimitris headed the team over the weekend of my stay and he ensured that everything was in place to make my stay totally enjoyable. The Guest Relations Team at The Midland are the best that I have experienced anywhere. On the morning of my Son’s wedding, he felt ill. I think nerves had kicked in and he felt sick, had stomach pains and was sweating. A member of housekeeping (Paige) was servicing the adjacent room and took the time out to bring fresh chilled water and an electric fan to cool off the nervous Groom. Many thanks Paige. What I love about this hotel is the personal contact between guests and staff. Whilst having breakfast on the morning after the wedding, I was greeted by a familiar face, a lovely woman with a huge smile. Beverley, who works in the Mount Street restaurant, recognised me and came across to welcome me back to the hotel and ask how I was. She always makes time to speak to me whenever I stay at the hotel. There are a number of wonderful hotels in Manchester but I stay at The Midland every single time that I am in the city because the staff in this hotel make me feel welcome and ensure I have the most amazing stay.

Leonardo Hotel Brighton

Stayed at Leonardo Brighton. Left some items in my room and filled in lost property form. The hotel took seven pounds as a postage and package charge, and said they will call me to let me know when the package is being sent. Have heard nothing back from the hotel. and no one answers the phone at the hotel when I call. High level of indifference from the staff, which needs addressing by management.

Please be careful when booking rooms with Leonardo Hotels. We had a very bad experience as they cancelled our rooms two days prior to check-in. We had paid the costs in full. BE CAREFUL

Had an overnight stay in the

Had an overnight stay in the Leonardo Hotel Bradford. Room very corporate, very clinical. Double and single bed in a very small room with not much space to walk around the beds. Quite noisy at night with the pipeworks from the bathroom, mattress hard and pillows very flat . Didn't sleep at all with all the above. Evening meal was a lot to be desired, all I could eat was the starter salad. Everything else was either overcooked or tasteless. Lasagne awful, nothing else appealed. Didn't eat very much at all. The positive: Breakfast was much better ,nicely cooked and enjoyable.. The room was very clean, bedding spotless. With tea/coffee making facilities. Shower very good with all towels provided. I would not like to stay again, or recommend it to anyone if I am honest, sadly.

Natalie the brilliant barmaid.

Not so much the company as one particular member of staff, Natalie at the bar, Liverpool. We dropped in for a drink and the poor lass was overwhelmed with customers hence missing my place in the queue. However once she realised her mistake she made the effort to come to us to apologise. Totally needless on her part but very much appreciated. I hope management take this on board and commend her.

Do not stay with Leonardo hotels

I would like to leave no stars but unable to. Our wedding night and we booked a superior room with balcony and Prosecco a couple of days before. When we arrived we were told they had over booked and no space for us. The man at reception tried to move us to another hotel and would not pay the taxi fare. We were then offered a twin room free of charge so we stayed. In the morning we got charged 50% as the reception man had not been authorised to do that and they basically called us liars, if we did not pay it then we’d be charged the full amount. Still in dispute with them over the matter, it has been terrible service. Changing to Leonardo hotels has put the hotel in a downhill slope, it was a lovely hotel before
