I've bought from Kits a couple times now, and I do think you get what you pay for! They're the cheapest option for me locally, but not the cheapest you could find ever. That is to say, they're a sturdy enough quality, and if they make you select a certain lens due to the thinness of your frame, you're going to get nicer, thinner lenses that are clear and don't scratch (trust me on this, they've been knocked off my face during sports multiple times). The downside is they don't have an incredibly wide range of designs, and if there is a design you love but few others do, it's unlikely you'll be able to re-order them down the line if you've sat on them and broken them beyond repair. The upside is they're quite good about returns and warranties, and immediately offered to send me an entire replacement pair when I asked about repairs for a stripped screw (shout out Tony B for all the help). I would say if there's a store near you, definitely check out the frames in person, and give them a try if you're looking for something a little easier on the wallet. Just remember to keep your expectations in line with the prices and you should be pretty chuffed with what you get.

I gave 3 stars due to Upon receiving the glasses - which I absolutely LOVE (great shipping speed as well), I noticed the left eye glass appears to have the wrong prescription in it. My eyes have the same prescription for both eyes so it was pretty easy to tell that something was off. I reached out to customer service and they needed me to verify my prescription, and then send a picture of prescription. I am a 30 year old woman and I know if the prescription is wrong in glasses that I wear every day. *It is not the PD* I just wanted help being told where to send to get the corrected lense, I don’t want a return or anything like that. I truly love the glasses!! I just have had better customer service, ten fold, at much less desirable places of business.

Your PD measurement tool is very easy to use and loved the simplicity to complete a full glasses fitting. I will tell others that Kits is the go to Internet site to order cool glasses.

Absolutely the best company. Problems happen, but Kits makes things right. Do not hesitate to use this company. Easy ordering.. on time shipping and constant communication/updates. They do everything right.

For at least the last ten years I have been gettting vision tests every two years.....getting a prescription.....then going to an eyeglass store in order to buy a new pair of glasses. All I have to show for those 10 years is a pair of prescription glasses that I bought ten years ago.....they were the only ones I kept wearing. All the others.....some "designer" eyeglasses.... just ended up never being worn because when I finally got them I didn't like them for one reason or another. Stores are limited in what they can offer because they cater to everyone.....I should say they "try" to cater to everyone. Because I knew the shape of glasses that I wanted there were very few "options" for me to choose from. I would choose a pair.....pay way too much for them....wait for them to be delivered.....then end up not liking what I bought......never wear them....keep wearing the one pair that I bought about 10 years ago. I had heard of people buying glasses online but I knew nothing about it. I asked a friend to help me choose a pair of glasses online. Because she bought her eye glasses from KITS she "walked" me through the "process" and I ordered a pair of glasses. What I found so interesting is that I could "try on" different pairs of glasses while keeping the ones that were 10 years old on my face. In that way I could actually compare new glasses to the ones I had worn for the last 10 years. I chose a pair of glasses "knowing" that I would like them....even though I hadn't received them. I actually had such a good experience choosing that first pair of glasses that a few days later I sat at my computer and ordered three more pairs of glasses. Sure enough when I got that first pair of glasses from KITS I liked them and I am wearing them. I will never go to a store again to buy eye glasses. The "process" of finding glasses on the KITS website is so easy.....you just choose the size of the frame and the "shape" that you are looking for....then get an opportunity to see exactly what the glasses will look like on your face..... I tried on one pair of glasses after another......over and over..... I could see exactly what they would look like on my face.....different frames......different colors..... The price I paid for a pair of progressive lens glasses at KITS was even less than half of what I usually pay when I buy them in a store. To get a "visual" of one pair after another....one frame after another.....one color after another....practially assures you that you will like what you order. Add to that the really good price that you pay for each pair of glasses and KITS is an undeniable "winner". As to why KITS and not another online company.....let's just say that if you find exactly what you are looking for why would you go anywhere else.

Glasses came really fast and really great customer service.

They are really helpful when you get the wrong pair of glasses or something changes with your prescription. I normally have bad luck with pretty much every company but these guys really surprised me.

First time ordering so I have no clue if this is a normal time frame. I ordered prescription glasses on Sunday and by Tuesday noon they were at my door. Pretty impressive I’d say. Here’s is to me the shocking aspect. Kits is in B.C. And I am in Ontario! It is Christmas tomorrow so I just assumed maybe next week or January. Everything from beginning to end was perfect. It's all about taking care of your eyes and they know its best. I mean, I shopped here high-quality glasses back in the days. I bought a pair specifically for walking around the type under scorching and blinding sun, and another pair for just working in my laptop becasue I have a rather poor sight, and it's recommended for me rto wear special glasses. People with astigmatism should understand me. But they don't provide such type of glasses, it's more about professional help you know. Anyway, I like them.

i ordered some glasses online (my first time doing so) and was thrilled with how easy it was to do! also, how inexpensive and high quality the glasses are. i decided to also order my contact lenses through kits. unfortunately, it was just before the canada post strike, and i didn't receive them. i sent them a message asking if they could express ship me a pair, as i was running out. they did so without hesitation, and didn't even charge me for them. kits has a customer for life!
