This was one of the worst experience ordering glasses I've ever had and the worst customer service. Normally I order from several other online shops but wanted to support "Canadian". First of all-there IS a try on feature, but NOT the glasses you want to try on. Which is useless. After a few weeks I get a call from the American manufacturer that the glasses were not up to standard and needed to be re-made. When I finally did receive them, they were lopsided. When I contacted customer service, they said I can either return them and they can remake them (on my shipping dime and would take over a month to get a new pair) or I can be out of pocket to go to a local place to get them repaired. They said they would credit me $20 for future purchases. When I explained that I would never be ordering again and would be a better use of customer service to refund me at least the $20 for the repair, I was refused. They had an opportunity to make things right with their error and decided it's better to lose a customer and give me a horrible taste in my mouth with this company so I can tell others about it than refund me the $20 I need to pay to repair the glasses they gave me of sub-par quality. Never will I ever purchase from this horrible company again and I urge you to shop elsewhere as they don't have quality or care about customer service. Disgusting.

I had a great experience with Kits. The customer service was fantastic. I had ordered a pair of glasses and I was informed by customer service that my lenses were way to thick for the frames, they then worked with me to fix this issue. I upgraded to premium lenses, and that thinned them out some. They were kind enough to make the process simple and easy, even put my order on hold untill I could pay for the upgrade, the extra payment ended up being not that much and it's still very affordable glasses. Around $70 in total, including shipping! I still went with the original frames which were thin wire frames, I got my glasses today and I love them! I was informed that the lenses would still stick out some, but it's fine with me as they are able to close. And it's not noticeable at all! I finalized my order a few days ago, and within 4 days I had my glasses in hand! This is definitely a place I would recommend, especially for Canadians, as they offer the free first pair for new customers. It's shipped and made in Canada so you won't have to wait long to receive them if you're Canadian. Overall I had a great experience, customer service was helpful and fast with answering my questions and very accommodating with everything.

I ordered my first pair of progressives from Kits recently. The fit was unfortunately not comfortable. I reached out to customer support and was incredibly pleased with how accommodating they have been to rectify my concerns with a new pair of glasses. Refreshingly great customer service from this company and hey they’re Canadian!!

36 hours!! That's all I can say, 36 hours after I ordered I am now wearing my new glasses. The glasses were made, packed and picked up by Canada Post the next day. Quality is solid and I have never, not even in person, gotten prescription glasses this fast. I was walking around with scotch tape holding on the temple of my glasses and Kits really saved my butt.

I’m in Toronto. I ordered a three hundred dollar pair of prescription sunglasses. The order arrived after 12 days (their website says they aim for 1-3 business days) with the lens misplaced, not sitting flush in the frame. You could see the light leak out of the side when wearing them. I contacted customer support to figure out my next steps, as I was travelling in three weeks. I was afraid the return and processing would take too long and I was considering bringing the glasses to a local optician for immediate repair and see if I could get any amount reimbursed but I was told by customer support they wouldn’t be able to return any of my money and said “We understand that you’re going on vacation soon, and we’ll prioritize the adjustment process to make sure your glasses arrive in time.” I dropped it off at Canada Post the next day, but after six days I decided to check the tracking number and it was estimated to maybe be delayed by the Easter weekend, a week and a half before my trip. Then I emailed customer service again, voicing my concerns that they sent the parcel shipment at a non-expedited speed and that they should upgrade the return shipping. They said they would. Thankfully the Canada Post shipment arrived ahead of schedule to their returns centre the day before Good Friday. I emailed them a week after my glasses get returned to them, this is now four weeks after my original order, as I couldn’t find any updates on the return order on the website and I’ve received no emails. This last correspondence was returned after one more day, saying the return was only processed on the previous Wednesday, which, even with four days of the Easter weekend, is four business days just waiting to be processed, not even being worked on, was only now currently being remade and would be shipped out by the end of the next week, now five weeks after my order and several days AFTER I leave for vacation. Extremely disappointing every step of the way starting from the faulty order, with empty reassurances and nothing actually done to make the situation better. Not even a paltry voucher or discount offered, no sunglasses for my trip.

Good quality glasses

I ordered contact lenses from them, which arrived pretty fast. Once I opened the delivery box, one of the contact lenses package was ripped open. I informed them and they promptly sent me another one, which also arrived pretty fast. I’m very happy with the customer service!

Honestly the best customer service I have ever experienced. Typically with any other company it's a fight to get any help or even contact them. KITS was extremely easy to contact, quick to respond, and went above and beyond right away. In today's day and age thats rare. Love the glasses and will continue to be a loyal, and proud customer of quality brand and excellent team behind it. Thanks again guys.

I originally heard of kits through tiktok as the most affordable site to purchase prescribed glasses that instantly caught My eye and I bought my first pair of glasses. The brand was Phoenix. I got them in all black and the quality is amazing. I will be purchasing All of my prescription glasses and frames from here. Shipping was also very quick. It took three days.

The customer care is exceptional which I did not expect from an online retailer! They went the extra mile to make sure my lens fit the use which was intended for. For info I have ordered progressive lens for office setting use with transition add on.

Fast, inexpensive, and great customer service. The quality of the frames isn't quite the same quality as high-end eyewear, but they are a fraction of the price. I can buy several sets of glasses for less than the cost of 1 pair. I don't have to worry about breaking or losing them, and I can switch up styles regularly. They typically ship within 1-2 days of placing your order, and their customer service is quick to fix any issues. I will only be ordering from Kits from now on.

Have been a member of this site since 2014 but Found the same brand much cheaper at other sites. Also I got charged shipping $10 this time when it's always been free shipping. The auto enroll discount doesn't work either unless you add two boxes.

I am so pleased with Kits! First off, made in Canada, fast manufacturing, fast shipping, super competitive price. I took my prescription and added +1 to the Sphere part, and measured my PD when looking up close, in an effort to create the ultimate computer glasses. O M G these are by far the most perfect glasses for using the computer I have ever had, bar none! The frame is nice and solid to. Quality all around! Perhaps I got lucky to the numbers exactly right, but omg these are so so SO spot on! So I'm now going to shell out the big bucks are get progressives, for around the house and driving. The reading glasses are perfect the computer, but even around the house everything is blurry. Anyway, I'm very excited that Kits is here! Go Canada go !!!

My eye exam was inaccurate at the Cornwall location store, so I had to go somewhere else for a proper exam. They refused to refund the money for the exam, I would never do my exam in that shop. Maybe they should just stick to the coffee business. What a total waste of time.

Just ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses since you guys fixed the last issue I had and I was satisfied, but this time the screw up was insane, a simple phone call could have stopped the nonsense that happened ! Now I have to send the glasses back and they have to wait for their sunglasses even longer , I’m still not understanding what the mess up was ! The response I got was there’s nothing I can do as they are designer frames , what does that mean? How about send the new ones and when this snow storm we are getting is over and I have to drive the half an hour to return these glasses to the nearest post office … I’m just FRUSTRATED!

Love the glasses & customer service, but the membership seems like a bit of a scam. I applied because paying for the membership actually saved me money on my first order. However, I went to checkout some glasses from their "spring sale" and came to find out I cannot use the KITS+ membership with regular sales and discounts. Feels a bit like a gotcha moment. Hope they adjust these benefits as the "membership" does not really seem necessary if you cannot use it with regular deals as well.
