I'm writing anonymously as a staff member that works at the new JD store in trafford centre. Firstly, the managers here do not care about staff getting enough rest. They will easily give someone a shift ending at 12am and then make them start again at 8am the next day. This is unfair and makes people exhausted. This is a health and safety concern. Managers are also rude and tend to play favourites. Some staff get treated better than others for no reason. If the managers like you, you get easier shifts. If not, they will speak to you in a rude way and assign you the worst jobs there is. It is very obvious and makes work stressful. Furthermore, they also tend to Ignore your availability. When you apply, you tell them the times you can work and you also update your availability on the app. It then gets approved but they still give you shifts outside of those hours. For example, if you say you cannot work late because of transport or any other valid reason, they will still schedule you until 12am. late finishes can be common. Shifts that are supposed to finish at 12am often end much later, sometimes 1am. The breaks are a total joke. They tell you when your break is, but then change it last minute. You could be waiting hours to eat because they won’t let you go when they said you could. Lastly, they don’t care about you. Working here makes you feel like you mean nothing to them. You do not feel valued what so ever. The way the managers sometimes speak to you or address you is belittling and rude. Nobody should be treated this way at work. Do not work here if you want fair treatment. They take advantage of staff and don’t care about anyone’s wellbeing. This is definitely something that needs to be investigated by someone in HR.
Bonjour Une expérience d’achat sur le site internet déplorable, commande passée le 28 juin, livraison prévue le 4 juillet et toujours rien à ce jour …..service client au téléphone qui raccroche car file d’attente trop lointaine, de quoi parle t’on ???? Service client par mail inexistant, personne ne répond jamais, j’ai ouvert un dossier litige avec paypal pour un remboursement. Je n’ai jamais vu ça, société sans scrupules et qui traite son client sans s’en soucier. Plus jamais
I ordered two pair of shoes for my little ones. The delivery box is not touched. The boxes in the main box are open and one of the pairs is missing. I contacted customer service and the girl said that my case is rejected, because I have got both boxes. I didn't know that I paid for EMPTY BOX. THE DELIVERY NOTE is not in the box neither. She advised me to contact PayPal about it. Alright and what PayPal can do with the people stilling items from JD warehouse. So I asked the agent: IS this a practice at JD sports? I haven't got Nike AIR MAX DN INFANT trainers, but not my money back neither. I just did ordered clothes and trainers for me and my husband, so I wanted to have matching ones with my kids. Well it would not be anymore. Someother child has got it, not mine.
Ich habe zu sehr guten Konditionen Schuhe gekauft und wartete 1 Woche … Nach dem ich dem Kundenservice geschrieben habe kam die Antwort, Ware ist verschwunden und es gibt im Lager keine Schuhe mehr! Auf den Hinweis das es (zu einem höheren Preis) auf der Internetseite den Schuh noch gibt kam die Antwort, das es ihn nicht auf Lager gibt 😂

Just be aware that some of the brands that you buy online from JD Sports are not to be returned in store. If I had known this, I would have not ordered anything from them online and just went in the store instead to buy.
Fields under al kritik. Jeg var i dag i deres butik i Fields, jeg så et par sko jeg gerne ville prøve, der var jeg igennem hele 3 medarbejdere bare for at prøve et par sko. Alle 3 medarbejdere gav mig en følelse af jeg var til besvær og det tog over 15 min før bare at prøve skoene. Det er klart sidste gang jeg besøger den butik og jeg vil hellere give mere for skoene bare for at få nogen lignende en slags service. Jeg vil IKKE anbefale den butik til andre, og er andre butikker lignende så er jeg helt klart ude af deres butikker. Jeg vil ikke anbefale at gå i deres butikker da de ser dig som en irriterende kunde uanset hvor venlig du end er som kunde. De ville hellere ud og nyde livet end at arbejde.

Order some men's bottoms yesterday 11/07/2025 online, paid got email to say they would be delivered today 12/7/2025 , only to receive email today , that they've refunded me, so the bottoms where 45.00 plus 3.99 delivery which is fine, but please tell how you only refunded me 45.00 only, for an order that never even got sent, refund me back my 48.99 , you robbing #astards.
Absolutely appalled by the way JD Sports has handled my recent experience – especially the complete lack of accountability from their so-called "Customer Champions Team" and escalation agent, Kasey. After receiving three separate pairs of faulty trainers in one month, I was met with robotic, patronising replies that completely ignored my concerns. Kasey repeatedly dismissed my request for clear information about compensation, instead offering vague promises of a "goodwill gesture" only after I returned the item. Worse still, Kasey falsely claimed that returns at JD Sports are not usually free – which directly contradicts their own website where it clearly states that returns are free. Framing a legally required return label as a “complimentary gesture” is not only misleading but frankly insulting to customers dealing with your quality control failures. Across several emails, the tone has been patronising, the information misleading, and my questions have been continuously ignored. When I requested escalation and a callback to speak with someone more senior, I was met with silence. I’ve now resorted to sharing this experience publicly because JD Sports needs to be held accountable for how they treat paying customers. If you ever have an issue with your order, be prepared to waste your time dealing with dismissive, unhelpful responses while they dodge basic accountability. Avoid this company if you expect even the bare minimum of customer service.
I ordered shoes in the store and was told that it would take 3-5 business days to be delivered. This was on a Sunday. Confirmed that I should have them by that Friday. Friday has come and no shoes. I then co faced customer service and the automated system informed that the ordeeed had not been filled and that I would receive an email once it is done. I then waited to speak to a CSR. She then informed me that it actually take 5-7 business days and that it would be the following g Wednesday before I receive them. I the. Asked for the tracking information and she said the order is not filled and because of that there is no tracking information and an email will be sent. I then asked what company it’s being shipped through and she said she could not give me that information because the order was not filled. I asked how long does it take to fill the order and when could I expect the shipping information. I would to know to be able to get my package and not have someone steal it off my porch. She said that I should have it by Wednesday. I said the day it’s to be delivered? She said yes. What if the shoes doesn’t come by then? She said to give us a call and they can either refund the money or place another order. I then said, and I would have to wait another 5-7 business days to receive them. She said yes. Even Temu and SHEIN give you a tracking number….. if I can’t buy them off the rack in this store, I won’t be order anything from them! Especially after reading other reviews and seeing this is how their online service work. I just hope that when I get them that they are genuine! Again after reading other reviews…I have my doubts. Believe I will be taking them to the store for a refund and ordering straight from Nike. M2C’s

Ordered two identical pairs of the same model shoe. They only sent one pair. After a 30 minute wait on their phone system I was told that because a package was showing as delivered they couldn't provide any further support whatsoever. The proof of delivery photo taken by the Post Man clearly shows a package too small to contain two adult shoeboxes. Advised to try a dispute through my bank. Absolutely horrendous customer service. No attempt in the slightest to try and help or recognise that they may have made a mistake. Regardless of any great offers they may have I will be avoiding JD at all cost. Their phone customer service is probably the worst I have ever experienced. It took 30 minutes to get to a human and then it was incredibly difficult to hear them because of the shocking amount of noise in the background. So angry with this experience and unless my bank accepts my dispute out of pocket as well. JUST AVOID! JD Sports replying to this complaint as if they are the least but interested is just laughable. It took me 30 minutes to even get through to customer services who proceeded to tell me to get lost in effect and discuss the matter with the bank. Telling me that proof of delivery is all they need is just wrong and outrageous. I never disputed the fact half my order arrived just that half was missing. Proof of delivery doesn't mean the customers order was fulfilled correctly just that something was delivered. This is beyond bad service it is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act and reportable to trading standards. This is a major retailer who have effectively stolen half the money I paid for my order by not sending me the second pair of shoes or a refund.
Never again will I give this lot a penny. After 30 odd years of shopping there I’ve been let down big time. My daughters birthday present was ordered from them and evri messed up the delivery resulting in me not receiving it. I notified them over a week ago I’ve emailed soo many email addresses for them without one direct response just pointless automated responses asking if further help is needed to reply which I’ve done over and over and over in detail then I hear nothing back. More annoyingly I’ll then get an email To ask how well my experience was. I went on to there fb page and got a rep who emailed me a form I had to fill in and send back this was after 4 days of being ignored so on the Sunday I filled in form and returned it. Today is Friday and I’ve heard nothing at all back. The rep is now saying unfortunately as claims is dealing with it there’s nothing they can do and gave me an email address for claims dept I’ve emailed them 12 times in last few days and each email bounces back saying can’t deliver problem with jd email so the rep made an exception and contacted them on my behalf told me I would hear back in 72 at the most it’s been 4 days and nothing. All the while I’ve had to borrow to go out buy my wee one the £80 trainers so she’s not let down on her birthday which btw JD has been & gone now. So yeah for over a week I have been consistently ignored by every email address JD give out only ones not ignored me is fb but they are very limited with regard as to what help they can actually give. So what???? I just sit back and accept I’m £80 down because yous choose to have the most incompetent couriers in the UK deliver your parcels? I think not. I want my money back and I won’t let it go until I do. I’m sure you’ll find the order with my email address attached to this and my name Jacqueline mcmillan the order was black adidas campus size 3 post code G20 8TQ

Parcel says it’s been delivered, but not arrived. Trying to get through to customer service is a joke! Tried the online form, no one has got back to me. Been sat in a queue to get through to customer service a couple of times for over half an hour each time but can’t get through to anyone. Item needed for holiday within next few days!! So, your response to my lack of being able to contact your customer service, is to contact customer service??? Can I have some helpful advice maybe?

Absolutely appalled at JD white Rose this evening! Shopping for my grandsons birthday and due to the huge queue and only 2 serving I went to the self check out, scanned my items and something went wrong. A sales assistant kept trying to get a manager to sort it and after 10 minutes I gave up.nor to mention the mess all around, coat hangers all over the floor and the self check out area, sales tags and receipts. I absolutely will not be shopping there again.
