Ordered two identical pairs of the same model shoe. They only sent one pair. After a 30 minute wait on their phone system I was told that because a package was showing as delivered they couldn't provide any further support whatsoever. The proof of delivery photo taken by the Post Man clearly shows a package too small to contain two adult shoeboxes. Advised to try a dispute through my bank. Absolutely horrendous customer service. No attempt in the slightest to try and help or recognise that they may have made a mistake. Regardless of any great offers they may have I will be avoiding JD at all cost. Their phone customer service is probably the worst I have ever experienced. It took 30 minutes to get to a human and then it was incredibly difficult to hear them because of the shocking amount of noise in the background. So angry with this experience and unless my bank accepts my dispute out of pocket as well. JUST AVOID! JD Sports replying to this complaint as if they are the least but interested is just laughable. It took me 30 minutes to even get through to customer services who proceeded to tell me to get lost in effect and discuss the matter with the bank. Telling me that proof of delivery is all they need is just wrong and outrageous. I never disputed the fact half my order arrived just that half was missing. Proof of delivery doesn't mean the customers order was fulfilled correctly just that something was delivered. This is beyond bad service it is a breach of the Consumer Rights Act and reportable to trading standards. This is a major retailer who have effectively stolen half the money I paid for my order by not sending me the second pair of shoes or a refund.
