The backup experience was painless & straightforward. IDrive provided the hardware & instructions needed to perform data backup, and it was easy after that! I would highly recommend this service over Google Drive or especially Google Photos, and will sing iDrive's praise.

Very quick setup and easy to navigate the software. But I wished their mobile have a better UI as currently it looks very outdated.

Terrible. No technical support. The software is interfering with other installed software. I contacted 1Drive for a workaround. They told me to contact Microsoft bc Microsoft owns 1Drive. ?? I asked for a contact person and phone number and no response. Now I have to uninstall and delete. 1Drive offered me a full refund for my review. This is an honest review. Don't do it.

iDrive is incredibly easy to use. As a voiceover actor and digital content creator, I have a lot of files I need backed up for clients as well as my personal computer files. I am a big fan of redundancy when having backups and iDrive fills the online backup need seamlessly. I downloaded it, installed and selected the time I wanted each backup done, and the default directories for my first backup. The next day I added the client files to the backup. Each day I get a notification of a completed backup with how much space I have left. Starting with 5TB I have plenty of space. Pretty much a "set it and forget it" tool which is exactly what I wanted.

The app just stops working periodically. I contact support and they ask, "is A or B happening?" I respond not. Then I get another email asking the same thing and then another email after that again. So, the app will just keep retrying and retrying and then randomly start working. Then the progress bars stop functioning and I can only figure out it's uploading by checking my space used via the web login. Then things work perfectly for a few days until today and things are going haywire again. There is no corresponding conditions that change on my system when things go from good to poor. Also, their documentation on anything but the most basic things is pretty sparse. I'm pretty frustrated so far.

My IT professional suggested using IDrive and, as a new user, I am very pleased. It was easy to set up and I have my backups scheduled daily so there is little data I can lose. I also found the program affordable and easy to use. I was amazed how quickly over 14,000 documents were backed up.

As backup & storage it's great, but as "drive in the cloud" it's pretty un-intuitive and not a competitior to OneDrive.

I found Idrive very easy to set up and no technical issues so far in backing up my data. It took about 4 days in all and seemed to work at about the rate I would expect from my internet connection. I am slightly disappointed that there is no mechanism to create an ongoing mirror of my data. Renaming files or moving them about on the source ends up creating duplicates in the backup (I am backing up an external drive) so a certain amount of maintenance is required to make it work effectively. Nonetheless it's hard to argue with the value for money.

Finally found an affordable cloud storage. Perfect for all my family photos/videos and lots of room to spare! Also backed up my computer and other stuff. It's very user friendly.

I have been a longtime Crashplan (Code42) user but have been looking around for alternates. Crashplan changed their model to business only and it became really expensive. Plus its support for older OS's was really bad and its Java setup was really tricky to get right for large data sets - it took me a long time to find the right balance. I have tried other tools but they did not outshine crashplan - until I tried idrive. The cost was much better, the interface was brilliant and performance both for upload and CPU load was much better than crashplan. I am in the process of deactivating the crashplan account. I have also signed up for iDrives sister product RemotePC which also works better than TeamViewer.

Incredibly easy to use. You just select individual files or entire drives (like that external drive with all of your photos). Set when you want the backup to run and for how often and that's it. It runs in the background and tells me if there is an issue. Very happy with this affordable backup solution.

Loads of storage for a reasonable price. No complaints!

I use iDrive for many years and it's my very trusted backup solution. I do recommend to all my contacts. It's very reliable, set-and-forget. I do wish iDrive provide Office 365 support so that I can use it in the corporate environment

Very easy to use. One of the best. In the browser you have a great experience. Android app has to be improved.

I use iDrive as my secondary backup for photos, videos, music, et cetera. As <100$ for 5TB of cloud storage are pretty cheap compared to other competitors, I barely have anything to complain about. The GUI is nothing special, but works pretty well besides responding a bit slow sometimes. Upload-Speeds are good as well, I got a constant ~40MBits up, although haven't tested downloads yet.
