I have been a heavy user of cloud storage since I have been writing code and designing electronic devices for many years. I started with external hard drives - this method has many disadvantages, I will not list them. Then Apple's Time Machine is a good program, but it works in the background if you are near it (Wi-Fi or a physical hard drive), and I have several Macs and Windows machines at my disposal, and besides, I have to work in different cities, out of the office. Tried: GoogleDrive, OneDrive, FBakap, IcloudDrive, YandexDisk
and some others -- my conclusion == these clouds are not for professional reliable work!
In recent years, I have been using the most reliable storage that fully meets my professional needs - Mega.nz
But mega has only one drawback - encryption of the data synchronization stream - it heavily loads processors - not all of my computers do this easily - there is a processor overheating - I had to turn off real-time synchronization on these computers.
I continued searching for clouds and accidentally found iDrive
I have been using the program for the second week - it is an ideal program for my business: it does not contain additional programs that make no sense to me (mail, music, chats and infinitely many others)
It has the main thing for me: creating and storing copies of file versions for an unlimited time, convenient search for the desired file version, real-time file synchronization, an extremely simple and logically understandable management and configuration system, as a bonus I received - creating backup copies from a file to discs on a super flexible schedule.
Restoring an accidentally deleted project went quickly and in full, like a cherry on a cake - online support from iDrive !!
Today I recommend to everyone -- heavy program Mega ( if you have secret ) data .
If your date is normal, but you have no right to lose it - just iDrive!!
