I believe that this is a great service. For the introductory pricing and the generous amount of storage you receive, it's a fantastic deal. It runs on servers, PC's, Macs, everything. The cloud features are pretty decent too, but I tend not to use them since the apps (especially mobile) are a bit outdated and lack newer features apps like Google drive feature. Some things I'd like to see in the service are: 1. Updated mobile apps 2. A more clear view of the storage being backed up from both your machine and on your account 3. Network compression settings 4. CPU Throttle in use VS not in use 5. Backup network speed limits (kb/s) 6. Dark Mode It's a lot to ask, but it just needs a fresh coat of paint honestly. Other than that, it works great and is a great backup of a backup.

Fairly simple to use with incredibly cheap space per TB. If you have a large NAS or just a lot of files you want to back up remotely, this is a great and affordable option. I’ve not done it yet, but I’m told you can also go in via the web interface and pick/pull files down if you need to access them remotely. I hope in the future they add that kind of functionality into the applications. Overall, a very good option for some piece of mind that a backup of your files are safe somewhere if you ever find yourself facing data loss at home.

I chose the iDrive service after thorough research and comparison between several similar services from other companies. I found that iDrive provides a professional backup with plenty of features, at the most affordable price. During the initial installation, I contacted technical support, and found out that their service was fast and courteous (in fact, the problem I had solved itself). I liked the simple and easy-to-navigate interface of the software, at the same time there are plenty of options to customize the backup experience. In addition, the option to add several computers for unlimited backup suited me very well. However, I would be happy if there was an option to make several different backup plans at different times, and I hope they add this feature over time. In conclusion, I highly recommend the iDrive service and software.

Very simple to set up. For years I've been using a Synology NAS with built in redundancy to backup all my family's home videos - and with 2 kids who were performers their entire school lives, that's ALOT of performance videos! I was always worried about a catastrophic event like a fire taking out everything, and when I realized iDrive worked seamlessly with Synology, it was no brainer.

I was searching through multiple programs for cloud storing and the best I could get in a fare price I found it in IDrive. It’s not complicated and can be operated also from people that are not so familiar with technology. I also felt confident about my choice as begins of IDrive is existing a serious company that will be there for alot of years , because my digital life will be stored there for a lot of years also.

I'm not a techy by any means, but over time I've accumulated a lot of photos and documents that are important to me. Idrive was surprisingly simple to to set up and use. The peace of mind that comes with knowing my data is secure is priceless. Highly recommend.

From Dropbox and Onedrive to iDrive After numerous desktop and mobile issues with both Dropbox and Onedrive, iDrive was the backup solution that met all my requirements. Now I can confidently backup and recover all my desktops, servers and mobile devices.

I travel a lot and i need to reach my data to work while travelling. I wanted to use a cloud service which is affordable and easy to use. The purchasing, set up, back up...each and every step was very easy. The synching is fast. IDrive enabled me to use my ipad for working on the go. The best part is the interface, i can sort the files and folders the same way i do with my computer. Overall, i am very happy with my purchase.

I was a customer with Crash Plan (Code42) for ten years, only to find out recently that I had been paying a lot of money for years and they didn't have my full backup on their servers. Thank God, I didn't need to restore anything, but had there been a situation where I did, I would have lost a lot of my crucial data. I did my research and found iDrive. From the moment I called them (you can't call Crash Plan, another bummer), it was a positive experience. They answered quickly, helped me get set up, and I really love their "Express Drive" feature, which made backing up a very quick process, rather than waiting months for all of the initial data to upload. The software was super easy to install, easy to navigate, and intuitive. The prices at iDrive are also not only competitive, but a little bit less than many other back up services. I'm looking forward to hopefully many years of continued good service and a solid product. Thank you!

I found iDrive through a TechRadar review of top cloud storage providers. The purchasing was very straightforward. On setup the iDrive app looked like it did not pick up some of my folders for Backup so I emailed Support. They responded promptly with instructions but as it turned out, the scheduled Backup was able to find the folders and it has been running smoothly since. So no fix needed. I really like that I can sync across and backup both of my devices (Macbook and Samsung Android.)

1) IDrive provides 256-bit AES encryption, also used by the US Department of Defense. 2) Affordable. 3) Free 10 GB trial membership was a test drive so I could see if I was capable of handling IDrive. 4) A few online Chats with IDrive tech support helped shorten my learning curve and prove that I could understand and use IDrive. 5) The wait time for Chat tech support was short or none at all. 6) User interface was easy to understand and operate. 7) The company which produces IDrive has been around for many years giving confidence that they will continue to be around storing my data, for many more years. Another confidence builder was that a web-designer friend has used IDrive for years and is happy with it.

The software is intuitive, easy to use, and install was a breeze. The only thing I noticed is the backup does slow your computer down a little bit, but that was expected, overall very happy so far.

My objective with a cloud backup service is the ease of use as a minimum and the total image of my drive as a maximum. Though IDrive does not have the image-drive capability for Macs, that will not deter me from using IDrive for my Mac laptop. But it does provide me with an image of my Windows desktop, which is invaluable. I was a Back Blaze and Carbonite user. There's no relief from worry more than knowing that your children are okay and then what's gained from knowing your data is safe.

Easy tool, great perfomance and reability, it give you a good set of options. The capability to do up to 30 snapshots of the same information without count on your total space is the bigger advantage over other options inclusive if you implement you own NAS this feature is not possible without add extra space and obviuos the cost. Therefore Idrive is one of the best cost effective in the market.

Very affordable online backup solution. I needed a solution that would work with my Synology NAS and could run off the NAS automatically. I looked at Backblaze and iDrive and iDrive had better pricing and storage options. So far, it's working as intended and I can rest knowing I have an online backup in case anything ever happens to my NAS.
