I joined IDrive after we had a cyber attack on our institution and some of my friend's computers got locked with a ransom demand. The only thing they could do was to format their hard drives and start from zero. I tried to figure out how to protect my computer (firewall/antivirus), but quickly was told by our computer experts that the best protection is simply to backup my data in the cloud. I ran a survey checking the various online cloud services from Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Amazon's AWS storage, Dropbox, and others. I decided to join IDrive as I think they give the best return on a relatively low price and had excellent reviews. Using IDrive in the past week and a half, I already backup all my computer. The service is fast, high quality at a low competitive cost. I defined my computer to sync at night, and in two-three days everything was already backed-up. It continues to synchronize every night so it doesn't disturb my work. I think it worth every cent paid as we are all highly dependent on our data and work computer.
