I am using iDrive as part of my backup strategy for Qnap NAS. It is important to me that my precious family photos are backed up to a third part cloud location in addition to Google photos. iDrive meet my reequipments for private encryption and is very competitively priced. I am currently migrating my data from an alternative service that was cost per month the same at the annual iDrive pricing. They provide a Qnap application which helped me up and running quickly. The app feels a little bit dated but is perfectly adequate for its purpose. Peace of mind assured, recommended.

Excellent value backup for Synology NAS

Once you're signed up, the backup process is easy to get started - download the app (I'm using Windows), select the files and folders you want to back up, and schedule recurring backups if necessary, then the app goes ahead and creates the backups seamlessly. It picks up where it left off if you need to reboot in the middle of a backup, which is very handy when you're backing up large files. IDrive pricing is great too - it's the cheapest cloud storage provider I've found, but it doesn't skimp on quality.

Excellent value, no issues with upload speed. Allows data to be secured with a key only you have access to for privacy. Works well for my home backup server, no issues with system utilisation whatsoever. Could have better options for system share backups, but they do allow it which is great for us FreeNas uses who have their data shared to a Windows machine who want to backup external data. Great product, really generous discounts for new users.

I personally am satisfied with IDrive not only because of the amount of storage they give for the amount paid for. Reliable and easy to navigate IDrive surely is my favorite cloud storage of 2023.

Works great and without fuss. Have set up an educational account with 10TB to backup all my PhD work. This was a very cost-effective option with scheduled back-up available. No issue with download and upload speeds NB idrive asked me to share feedback but I am very happy with the service thus far.

After months of looking for a fast and reliable Cloud backup solution and after trying many market options, I finally settle for iDrive. With 9TB of data backed up in less than one week, I can finally sleep relaxed knowing that my data is saved and ready to retrieve in case of an emergency. Highly recommend iDrive.

Hello there, I am using the IDrive Online Backup for a few weeks now, and it's really great. It's a fast program, which allows me to put every pile of photos in one place. Before, I had to use several harddisks and OneDrive-accounts, but that wasn't working for me at all. Sometimes a harddisk just crashes. Now my familyphotos are safe with IDrive and there's room for much more ! It's also great that I can log in at different devices, like my personal pc at home, or at work, but als at my android. So now I can easily backup the photos taken by my phone to the right place. It works super with the app ! Last but not least, IDrive offers sharp pricing of the packages. I'm happy. IDrive is an excellent cloud backup, it provides all the required solutions and options for backing up the personal materials, it promises the highest security level. There is an option to get to the data from any device, like cellphone. By request the company will send a copy of all the stored data on physical device, which is very important for me and makes me feel my data is saved properly. In summary, IDrive provides great experience to the user, with very good interface.

I've been using iDrive for years. Not quite as smart as Carbonite but it's a bargain if you always make sure to turn off auto-renewal and threaten to cancel your service each year. You will immediately receive a 50% discount for the following year! Also consider choosing the Private Encryption Key option. That way if the company ever gets hacked your data will not be readable by the bad actors. Make sure to choose a long key and for goodness sake--back up that key safely (it's your lifeline if you need to get your backups!).

I was impressed by the simple directions and flawless process in starting our account. Getting all 5 devices up and beginning the backups was effortless, accomplished in about 5 minutes. I feel better about the security of my data with IDrive. A much better experience than I had with a competing brand.

Really easy to use apps across platforms. Especially like that I can use it for both PC and Iphone so that I can skip my subscription to iCloud for my photos. To make it 5 stars I would like to see my iPhone photes on the PC app, which for some reason is only availble via the web interface and on the phone app.

You can store large amounts of data in the cloud with this easy-to-use service. IDrive charges a reasonable price for this. You save yourself the purchase of multiple HDDs or SSDs. This makes the service even less expensive. The upload is fast due to the compression technique used. I am very satisfied with IDrive.

Super quick and easy. Very reliable and easy to use. Amazing value for money. Less clunky on the client side than my previous backup systems too so it doesn't slow Windows down as much.

I haven't actually used iDrive to back up as of yet, but the interface is extremely clear with helpful reminders to back up daily. Look forward to using it for real!
