I bought the Exuberantly Fruity box for my partner's birthday. It was delivered fine, but it was missing one of his favourite chocolates! The passion fruit ball. Very disappointing, :( he enjoyed the rest of the chocolates, but I don't know how you can send out an incomplete box.

The service & products from Hotel Chocolate are great but the delivery service from Amazon is terrible. The driver rang my doorbell & before I could get to answer he'd put the box down outside my front door & got back in his van. He had no way of knowing whether I was in or not & the box was left in full view of passersby & in the sun! My 2nd delivery was left behind the bin on a hot day! Not acceptable.

Excellent service as always delivered when they said. Although I would have liked the driver to knock the door as the chocolates were left in the sun. Fortunately I found them per chance. The delivery driver let you down. The chocolates were lovely and had the sleeve on for fathers day. My hubby loves Hotel Chocolat.

Hotel chocolat was very quick to help with a glitch that had happened when I tried to order on the app. Once I was able to order what I wanted it came a day early which was a nice surprise.

As a non coffee or tea drinker, hot chocolates have always been my hot drink of choice. A few years ago my partner bought me a Velvetiser and it made drinking hot chocolate an even better experience. Recently my Velvetiser broke and the customer service team were quick to respond to help me try and resolve the issue. Unfortunately the machine seemed to have died, but the team gave me an unexpected discount for a new one which I am very grateful for! Brilliant customer service!

Delivery driver failed to read the big clear "Do not leave this package in the sun" notice and left the package in the blazing full sun! Big disappointment, you were let down by poor delivery.

Ordered the Father's Day box at £45. Delivery was on time but without the sleeve on the box that made it Father's Day! Also the website made it impossible to get the box delivered to an address orher than the billing address. My husband tried three times but eventually gave up. I tried, knowing the problem he experienced and did think I had managed to get the delivery address as a gift recipient but once I had gone through the payment page the address reverted to mine as the billing address. Totally frustrating. This would have been slightly less so had the product been as described with the gift sleeve. All in all a waste of my time and money. Could have picked up some artisan chocolates locally and taken them to Father myself - as I will have to deliver these myself anyway.

Had update that my goods had been delivered, checked with photo that had been send this us not at my property. If the delivery man was drivibg a yellow transit he turned in the farm yard. As its raining heaverly that box with my gifts will be damaged. I will be looking for a full refund.

Just opened a delivery from Amazon for tomorrow's Father's Day. The chocolates were utterly disgusting. Melted. The chocolates were completely melted and they're inedible. Chocolates overrun into each compartment in the box. How this company gets a score of 3.8 out of 5...

Booked a tasting event wow what a surprise Jake so knowledgeable about each and every chocolate we tasted. Very professional, polite, friendly, helpful and smartly dressed. Nothing was too much trouble and eager to please. Appreciated our feedback. Mel who was also very professional, helpful and friendly, assisted us with various shopping queries again eager to please. Overall we all had a lovely experience fantastic value for money, came away satisfied with a good knowledge of the chocolate 😀

Visited the Harrogate store recently. Poppy was extremely helpful and friendly. Helped us choose several products at great prices. Rebecca served us at the checkout and was also extremely friendly and helpful. She told us the benefits of a VIP card etc. and we left very happy with our purchases. I would highly recommend this store and it's excellent staff.

Order No. 74533659 delivered by Amazon Shipping on 13.06.2025. Despite explicit instructions on the box stating "Keep out of direct sunlight" the box was left inside the pedestrian gate fully exposed to the weather (full sun, 23 degrees C). I don't know whether or not the chocolates have been damaged, as its a Fathers Day gift.

Thank you received the box of chocolate this morning. Everything was great as expected. The only thing I read on the website that postage was free as it was Father’s Day weekend but I had to pay postage on my delivery.

Eventually managed to place an order. The app is useless! Long story short... it took two payments! When I phoned they tried to say it was the banks fault! This doesn't happen with anyone else. I reinstalled the app and stated again later. The same thing happened. I then rang to put the order through. I explained my difficulty and was given free next day delivery. Great thank you. BUT it didn't arrive the next day and who I was delivering to went on holiday. The delivery the said it was left in porch on a very hot day and would have sat there for a week as it wasn't delivered delivered on time! Fortunately I could phone their son to go over and put in their fridge. I think this may be the last time I use Hotel Chocolat as a postal gift!

Love them love them love them! Smooth creamy filling! You bite into the outer coating cracks through to the creamy smooth centre. The pink champagne you can really taste, that you know it’s made with real champagne. No flavouring in these best confectionaries . I’m frightened that if Ive eaten too many I’ll be a little tipsy LoL. Well balanced beautiful handmade chocolate and good quality and value for money .
