The chocolate is no longer the same quality: it tastes cheap but at a luxury price. Unlikely to buy again. It seems sadly you can't have quality and chase a large market share.
4 packets of my velvetiser sachets the assorted packets have a best by date of next month as a pensioner living alone it is a lot to use up. chocolate itself is first class
Not only was the parcel delivered a day late (despite paying extra for next day delivery) but there were two people in the house when the delivery was made and it was just left on the front doorstep (the front door was open) - bearing in mind today is 32° :( Not impressed.
Bought as a birthday present for my partner from the pet's as I know he loves hotel Chocolat especially the Kirsch cherries. Fast delivery and very well packaged.
I had these delivered to my local store, which is only a 10-15 minute walk away. As I had noticed that there have been some issues regarding delivery to people's homes on Trustpilot.
Obviously these would be delivered during store opening hours.

Rubbish, left parcel outside in 30 degrees and you sub contracted it to Amazon, if I wanted to order with Amazon I would have gone to them direct. I will not be ordering from you ever again.
My friend, whose birthday I had ordered the chocolates for was very disappointed. The courier Hotel Chocolat used to deliver them (Amazon) just threw them by the front door in blazing sunlight. So when my friend got home, he found that the chocolates had disintegrated into an inedible horrific mess. As they were not exactly cheap (almost £30), I feel that they ought to be replaced by Hotel Chocolat. While I realise that this is not the company's fault, and Hotel Chocolates are usually excellent, I do feel they have a responsibility with regard to the the couriers they use.
Order a box of chocolates for my daughter’s birthday . She lives in Scotland we live in the East Midlands . They were delivered the next day to me in the East Midlands . Her present will now arrive 4 days late .
Bought 3 x boxes of chocolates, with "Thanks" sleeves. Arrived promptly, in perfect condition, on time. My disappointment lay in the fact that only 1 gift card was included (for 3 boxes?), and although it read "Best wishes [gift sender's name]" underneath it had printed that the gift was from me. The order was made by me but on behalf of a sick relative, who has no means of getting x 3 Thank You cards. Think should have online option of 1 card per box, at least

The birthday chocolates were left between the bins at the end of the farm lane 200yards from the house on a hot day.The bin men could have had a surprise present if the chocolates survived.
The delivery came on the day I paid for but unfortunately I was out at the time and the delivery company, Amazon, didn’t notify me until quite late about the delivery window which was frustrating as I could have done something about it at that point. To add to that, I bought a large order and several of these have only a 2 or 3 month use by date left, if I select these then that’s by choice but I felt this could have been a little better.
