Damaged Parcel - Refusing to Refund
2nd time I have ordered online for a home delivery. 2nd time they have poorly packed the box with almost no packaging and items have arrived damaged. It's completely unacceptable for the sake of adding a layer of protection. Customer services said I had to return the items to a store. Firstly I live many miles from the nearest store, secondly I have chronic pain and other health issues and thirdly I don't drive. Hence ordering online for a home delivery! I told customer services this and despite me providing clear pictures of how the box arrived and the damaged items, they are refusing to refund me unless I return the items to a store. Well this is discrimination as I am unable to return the items to a store for the above reasons. Why are home bargains discriminating against customers who are too ill to go to a store or unable to get there? Surely this is against consumer laws for distance buying. Fuming. I won't be shopping with home bargains ever again. Their loss. I spend alot of money on orders too, so I will take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other companies who would welcome me spending my money with them. Very poor experience with home bargains, I won't shop with a company who refuses to refund a clearly damaged item. Also they will be reported to trading standards for breach of the consumer act 2015 for distance buying.
