Home Bargains products seems to be increasing in price, and declining in quality. The BUFFALO kitchen roll and toilet paper, disintegrates in your hands, and is now nasty, cheap quality. I have switched to Sainsburys kitchen roll/ toilet toll which only costs 11p more, and is excellent quality. HB needs to get a grip, shopper's are very savvy nowadays, and if we feel we are being taken for a ride, their is huge choice elsewhere.

Do not use the online to buy.i bought 5 items and two come broken.NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I either have to send back or go to shop.the reason I ordered online as I had back surgery Thursday so was easier.. WONT EVER BUY FROM YOU AGAIN AS NOW I HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO RETURN!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!

Took two buses to my local store in Newcastle, only to find they were out of stock of most items I wanted including the new dizzy panda range. The staff said it sold out in about an hour, one week ago. Home Bargains run national promotion campaigns and never have any stock in store. Going to give up on this shop. Most branches are out of town and are a hassle to get to.

Home bargains in Ringwood retail park have 2 friendly helpful and informative members of staff. I will go back there just because of there professionalism. I believe Gemma and Mark is there names

The frozen Tasty kebab meat that they sell is not fit for human consumption. The most disgusting food ever cooked or tasted. Buyer beware.....

First online order with home bargains - ordered a gift of the glow body cream (Sol de Janeiro dupe) for my daughter having been in all local stores multiple times and never actually seeing any. The box arrived tonight with the cream inside everywhere! The top clearly hadn’t been screwed on properly prior to dispatch and there was a bit of brown paper in there but no other packaging for protection. Home bargains have no call centre so you have to fill an online form in. I received a reply promptly giving me the option to either return the item to store for a refund or send back for a refund. Both options inconvenience me and not to mention I paid £3.95 delivery. I love home bargains store but my first online shopping experience has not been good.

I was wondering how long an item actually was physically. Carol (Home Bargins shop floor rep) looked at the box to see 14.5m, fetched a tape measure, and proceeded to show me how long the item was - without needing to open the box - by measuring the length on the shop floor. Now that's what I call exceptional customer service and a great shopping experience! Home Bargins in Edmonton Green, London, is a store that I'd return to again and again knowing that "nothing is too much trouble"

I changed my mind about two items but unfortunately could not find the receipt! I phoned the store and the very helpful assistant manager at Hayle store said it wasn’t a problem. The lovely lady on the checkout called a colleague to see if a refund could be given and then Jamie appeared and processed it with a smile and no quibble, showing his colleagues how to do so at the same time. Most stores would have probably exchanged at best. My faith in customer service is restored - well done and many thanks to Jamie and tesm! 😊

Well I didn't know I had lost my wallet, and i recieved a message via messenger from Vicky Woods at Home Bargains in Clayton Manchester. Saying "Hi Brian this is Vicky HB clayton we have your wallet" As I said earlier I didn't know I had my wallet, and I thought it was on my kitchen table, where I always put it when at home. I phoned Vicky via messenger and she informed that she has it in the safe for me. I went to the shop immediately, and I could not thank Vicky enough. So a HUGE thank you to the AMAZING Vicky Woods. Bought one of the 'Memory Foam' mattress toppers and to tell you now it's NOT Memory Foam just a piece of Foam. Tried to take it back to store for a refund but because it was open(which you have to do as vacuum packed) they wouldn't accept it even with a receipt. So £34 down the drain.

I’ve been buying beauty products recently which on the surface seems like a fantastic deal but when I get them home and try them they smell off, like they might be out of date of stored improperly as they rarely have seals on them, I bought body shop cream like this and it smelt rank.

I visited the North Shields store yesterday and realised that I had lost a package whilst in the store. Thanks to Mark and Kim who were so helpful in finding it. They couldn’t have been kinder in helping me out. Many thanks
