No school cakes or giant monster munch. Absolutely raging. Not acceptable. This place is terrible.

Returned an item without my receipt. I had bought a blackhead remover the day before but the suction was very powerful and I couldn't use it. It left a bruise on my face. I spoke with the supervisor and she was fantastic and took this off my bill, I was also given a box of chocolate for the bruise 😁 I wasn't expecting or wanting anything apart from the refund but I appreciate it. Thank you so much 👍
I love Home Bargains and nearly always get what I want but when I’m in a hurry I like to check that you’ve got the item I want but because you’re website is very behind the times and only shows certain products I end up going in B&M as their website is much better and shows all products. I wish that you had a proper website where we could search all product the you would get the full five stars
NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.. UNEXPERIENCED TILL STAFF ..NOTTINGHAM RETAILE PARK LENTON
Ordered some solar power lights middle of May arrived faulty. After endless emails with someone called John I was assure that as soon the items will arrive back a would have been issued a full refund. It has been over 2 weeks now since EVRI picked up the returned parcel and still no sign of my refund. Poor service and customer service. I will be taking this further if a don’t hear by middle of next week. 07/06/24
I ordered 12.5kg of suet pellets on Thursday and they were delivered on Friday. Even though I had to pay a small amount for delivery they were the cheapest I could find online or in a shop. The quality is as good as any other I have bought. There was no powder residue and no broken pellets. Excellent.
Always use Home Bargains at Heanor Derbyshire. The staff are so helpful, especially Rosie and Haley who always have a smile for you.
Would give no stars. Terrible store and staff!!
Went to home bargains today at Parkfield Road, Stockton on Tees. Very helpful staff particularly Cheryl who reached for some storage boxes for me and carried them to the counter. The lady on the tills, Anne Marie, was so nice too. Overall a really good experience.
very pleasant experience and very helpful staff both in store and the cafe, staff were very helpful with m grandmother in a wheelchair and offered to take purchases over to the checkout and even to the car! wold highly recommend the cafe, great prices and again very helpful staff, bringing orders to the table.
I would like to praise an assistant called Clare who works in your Crosby branch nothing was too much bother to her and she was so helpful she really is a credit to your company it’s very rare now to get such exceptional service in large stores and you should be proud to have employees of this standard
I went into the normally excellent cafe and the cups where stained and dirty this is totally unacceptable I had 4 cups that where stained and dirty in the end the young girl said they where all the same how disgraceful I said they should get a dishwasher or use a drop of bleach cleanliness and customer satisfaction is the most importantly thing especiallly in this day and age with all the vdisrases going around they have a small sink please do something about this. Because it’s letting your excellent service down
Firstly this in not a complaint about our local shop I find home bargins generally very good, but please spend some cash on your website it is without doubt the worst I have ever used, for instance I entered the word calgon and got no items found so I entered Cal omg there were 14 items shown 12 did not have Cal anywhere in their names or description. Home Bargins a search engine is supposed to search for what is entered not some random item I have no interest in please sort it out
So close yet so far... shopping for goods for my business so this is regards the online store: Firstly I would like to thank John from the on-line sales customer services department for his level of service; he did what he said he was going to do and followed up with emails at each stage as a matter of record and indicate any actions to take and/or taken. Their despatch department left items only partly protected in protective packaging resulting in their sub-contracted delivery agent delivering a partly smashed order - twice! This is where John came in for a speedy refund for the orders but he advised that the whole order would not be replaced (delivery driver took whole partly damaged order away) it would be cancelled off to be re-ordered by myself. So start again I guess but got simlar results so back to John again...! The main problem with HomeBargins is trying to talk to a human being at their on-line shop Customer Services. It was very difficult to speak with anyone as the help pages on their website just send you in circles and definitely don't give the required telephone contact numbers at T J Morris (Parent Company). The whole even was all a bit of a time consuming faff really and I would mark them down further if it wasn't for John rescuing the situation. It's a shame really and prices and quality of items (the unbroken one's) is very good but they do need to sort out their packing and delivery service along with the website for contact details and the similar item damage feedback. I hope they are listening...!?!
Home Bargains is now using facial recognition software. Im not going to China for my shopping. This isnt a communist state is it?
My husband bought some gift cards for my birthday. I discovered while standing in one of the shops that there was nothing loaded on the card. I checked the other card, and there was nothing on that either. I went down to the shop and gave him a slip of paper that said to go onto a site. I went on that site, and it showed how to buy gift cards there and what they sold. So I filled in a complaint and stated that my husband did not get a receipt, but we had the bank statement. After a lot of back-and-forth emails and asking for the receipts three times, they told me there was nothing they could do without receipts, and they only keep detailed ones for ten days. I am very disappointed; I shop there every week, and this has really put me off now.
Home Bargains now uses "AI" face recognition to identify shoplifters. Beware that this technology (from a company called Facewatch) is unreliable and has misidentified innocent people! Small wonder people are abandoning High Street shops in their droves and turning to online shopping!
Alcohol brand Lucky Buddha beer sold in Home Bargains is totally offensive to Buddhists ! What if any other sacred figure like Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammad was used to market an alcoholic beverage in a similar manner??
I have never seen so many items with out price tickets on. As soon as I walked in the door , so many plants and no prices . I lost count of the amount of price tickets that were missing throughout the aisles . !!!!
The manager in Old Swan is so helpful exceptional service
