Grubby

It's been three weeks since we started using Grubby, and so far so good! We used Hello Fresh and Gousto before, and I don't remember feeling so satisfied with a recipe box meal in a long time. The ingredients are fresh, the recipes are tasty and homely. So happy I ran into Nuru at Kings Cross a month ago! His friendliness and happy attitude made me want to try Grubby, and it was the right thing to do.

I was approached by a lovely young man called Victor at a train station. He was so nice, energetic and convincing he made me sign up for a box. Although I am not vegan, the recipes looked so yummy and meat can always be added on top. I am excited to get it tomorrow and try it!

Ive had these boxes delivered for about a month now and I absolutely love them, theyre super fresh, healthy, exciting and delicious I literally can't wait to cook and eat the meals!! I never thought I'd get meal prep boxes, partly because of price and the fact that being predominantly vegan meant something like hello fresh didn't appeal to me. BUT I guess I was in a good mood in Kings X station when I spoke to Bradley and he was super enthusiastic and signed me up on the intro offer really quickly as I had a train to catch. I'm going to carry on getting them full price though every other week. ALSO, pro tip I manage to stretch out the meals by adding another cheap carb/protein source to the meal, so thats 6 delicious meals a week for <30quid which isn't so bad, and super worth the convenience :)

I was stopped outside the tube station station by Victor, he introduced me to the brand and showed me all the meals and how healthy they were. I ordered my first box and I’m really excited to try them out!! Thank you so much Victor for the amazing customer service! Grubby has a great person in their company and will thrive with this young man!!

Just cooked our first 2 boxes (noodles & a moussaka). Excellent quality ingredients- simple instructions. Good music! All very tasty. Well done Grubby.

The same way you responded to my email about deleting my account, the same way I did respond to you within 10 mins of being charged for the new box. My issue was, I wold told to email you if I wished to cancel my account by your sales rep. I was SURPRISED as you said that I got charged because I did what I was told to cancel my subscription! So maybe as you said being a small business would be nice to educate your sales rep instead of scamming people. What is the point of customer service when the information given do not match and you are not helping to solve them? I did everything right, the way I was told. Again, I did not provide the alternative address because I’ve been out of the country. Do you deliver to US? I do not think so. I explained the whole situation to you over an email and you still reply back with the same excuse over and over again. It’s just ridiculous. Again, what’s the point of having a customer service when nothing can be done? It’s not even about the money anymore. It’s about respect towards your customers.

Grubby is great but we are finding it too repetitive with the meals. Highly recommended though, great company we have unsubscribed for now but may be back ♥️

I was sitting at London Victoria and I saw Grubby and was instantly intrigued by their vegan, plant based kits and ethical approaches. I went and talked to Zeeshaan, and I was greeted with a very positive and open attitude, talked about the recipes and what Grubby is and I loved their ethos and what they offered. I can’t wait to receive my first box and I would say to anyone if you’re worried about going to talk to them, just go and do it as if they’re anything like Zeeshan they will be super friendly and approachable and if you decide you don’t want to commit they have a non communal guarantee if you don’t like it!!

I was blown away by how delicious and simple to make these meals were. Packed with flavour, easy to follow instructions and super generous portions. The spotify playlist was also a lovely touch to dance around the kitchen to! 11/10!

I'm big on recipe boxes and usually go for Gousto, HelloFresh or GreenChef but I was stopped in the train station and decided to give this a try. First of all the guy who spoke to me made it sound like I would be getting 4 portions of each meal, so I worked out it would be similar value for money as my usual subscriptions, but when the box arrived I only got 2 portions. Secondly I just found the recipes pretty bland. Even after adding my usual extras like more salt/spices/herbs/a splash of wine/etc, I just found them very meh. Sad because I'm really trying to go as plant based as possible! I hope they fix the teething problems cause it could be a great thing.

The recipes are really great! The delivery is always seamless and the people that deliver are always lovely, come within the time slot etc… The packaging is almost always compostable/ recyclable and the vegetables are fresh!

User experience, brand, packaging, but most importantly the tasty, wholesome, creulty-free, varied breadth of purpose lead/climate conscious food!

Love this company! Plant based ✅ ethical✅ locally sourced (where possible, as much as possible) ✅ so many great recipes to choose from ✅. I've never enjoyed being vegan as much as I do with Grubby. 😁

It's tasty, it's easy, it's on time and you can eat meat free without feeling like you're missing out.

I got this service after being stopped in my local shopping centre back in October - my husband and I had been discussing getting a food subscription box for a while, and getting a discount on a vegan one seemed like a good time to try it out. The recipe selection and delivery are pretty good. What made us drop a star is the fact that the recipes can be 'hit and miss': some of the meals are lovely, whereas others could be much improved. We do tend to give them feedback on the meals, and being able to do so is a nice touch.

Lovely recipes and easy to make. BUT recently the quality of some of the veg has not been so good- mouldy beans rotten onion to give examples. It’s really important stuff is in wood condition on arrival

The recipes are really varied and tasty, I've been using it for a couple of months and I think it's great.

I love the fact that is a plant-based meal prep delivery and the meals are so tasty! There is great choice of meals each week and so far they are all were very good. I also love the fact that the vegetable is local produce and organic as well as woth every meal you donte a meal to those in need. The meal prep is geniunly 30 minutes and it often requires few items to be done at the same time so you need to learn to do it simultaneously. The recipes are very tasty and easy to follow and have hreat variety of very different flavours in each week meal choice. On occasions I would have loved produce to be fresher so they last untill Thursday when I sometimes do a second meal. I would also love if the recipes were highlited as gluten-free or had an option of gluten free item, for example theere is a great choice of gluten free wraps that could be offered as an alternative. Also £26 fir 2 recipes and 4 meals works out over £6 which is not cheap for plant-based meal and the fact that it's organic does make it a bit more sweeter. I would reccomend it highly to.this who want to eat well and have a quick meal prep when getting back home at the end of the day.
