Meals are good but replacing ingredients every week isn’t so good
Overall the meals are tasty. I had a few occasions where I received vegetables that weren't fresh, I didn't raise the issue every time (probably should have but I really believe in the company and what they stand for). DPD consistently didn't put my box where I asked it to be put and kept leaving on the front door, GRUBBY said it was raised with DPD but the issue persisted, and it kept being left in the wrong place. My most recent order had mouldy rolls and black ended carrots. Sadly that was the last straw for me and I've cancelled. I did persist with it and really wanted to stick with it permanently, I didn't feel too inconvenienced replacing rotten/soft tomatoes/avos/mushrooms and other veg but actually a £7 refund for having to compensate for two meals now when the whole point was the convenience of having the meals ready to cook, not having to replace ingredients every week no longer appealed. The recipes are great and they really do taste good....but too expensive to have to replace ingredients EVERY week when the point is convenience. Will try another plant based box. Thanks GRUBBY but no thanks
