Grubby

I have been using Grubby since October 2021 and I could not be a bigger fan! Grubby completely transformed my perception of vegan meals and I cannot imagine a week without my Grubby box. The meals are delicious and there are so much variety of recipes and ingredients. I am a huge advocate of Grubby and recommend it to all our friends. On top of that, the customer service is just fantastic!!! Thank you for the amazing work and looking forward for another great year tasting your food.

First time I heard about Grubby was with Bradley at tottenham court road! He was so nice and explained everything really well (the recipes, the delivery process and the carbon footprint impact). I got my box yesterday and was so flabbergasted at the amount and quality of the ingredientes. Super happy!

Decided to give Grubby a try using a discount offer that arrived with a Naked wine order. Bit worried tbh after a previous horrible experience with Hello Fresh where boxes regularly didn’t arrive and ingredients were missing when they did. Our Grubby boxes always arrived on time and there was never anything missing in the 4 weeks we had our subscription. The food was mostly fresh, there were times when avocados and aubergines were brown/black on the inside but to be fair it wasn’t easy to detect this as they looked ok from the outside. We enjoyed the meals overall and it felt good to be eating so healthily. We are meat eaters trying to eat more plant based foods and it was interesting to eat a vegan diet and discover a new way of cooking. We did miss the eggs and dairy elements and sometimes added cheese or yogurt to the meals. Raw kale even with the spine removed and massaged in olive oil was just wrong. We felt like sheep chewing cud. My husband doesn’t eat coconut, nuts, mushrooms so we were limited in choices some weeks. However that said in the main we enjoyed the food and are glad we gave Grubby a try.

I love your food and your treats our chickens are absolutely thrilled with them. They are obsessed with the warm treats. They wish they would get more than I provide. I will not shop anywhere else.

What an uplifting experience, conversation, and encountering I had today with the amazing Bradley nearby Farrington station. I am so much looking forward to my first delivery and I would have signed up to this without Bradleys' energy and skills of asking questions, listening, and sharing his positive, authentic presence!! THANK YOU BRADLEY!!! :)

Great experience and great company, looking forward to getting my first recipe box next week. Bradley approached me and he is a great asset to the company as he was so helpful and friendly, explained everything perfectly and reassured me. Love the concept of the company and the company’s principals and ethics really align with my own as a vegetarian.

Some of the meals have been completely inedible and I have ended up wasting food which I don’t like to do. However the latest experience I’ve had was the final straw. I did not order the box however they still sent it despite them having been asked not to and me contacting the delivery company not to deliver it which they didn’t. They still refused refund so I spent £28.99 for nothing. I’d advise people to go to Trading Standards and to seek legal action against this scamming company. To your reply: You cannot charge for something I didn’t receive and you have stolen £28.99 and yes I have complained about this before. I will be getting my money back even if you refuse to and no I was not told that if I refused delivery I would not be refunded so you are lying,absolute scam. I contacted DPD to tell them not to leave the box so I didn’t receive it and no I have cancelled the subscription and I’d never want to reactivate it again,thanks.

Not a vegetarian by all means, so I do add some meat to the dishes, but it's a great way to add more vegetables to my diet. The recipes are delicious and quick to make. My partner and I really enjoyed the recipes in our first box. Would like to thank Aziz for the riveting pitch at Clapham Junction (I hit that 120kg btw). Getting our second box today. Great grub and easy and fun to prepare whilst listening to the playlist. I am eating and enjoying new meals I would never have made myself. The portion sizes are generous so 1 meal kit often lasted me 2 days. Thanks Grubby team

While this is a good concept and lovely recipes. We found the portions of veg to be quite mean and very small. We are having issues with the fresh produce not being fresh too, particularly avocados and the coriander. Two of the avocado's were rotten from our meals and 1 batch of coriander had questionable looking leaves from a separate meal. We've only had 2 or 3 weeks delivery but have regrettably decided to cancel our subscription due to the cost far outweighing the quality of some of the fresh produce we were getting.

Absolutely bloody great all over. App is particularly great!!!!!! Food is great - portions are v appropriate and often have enough left for a lunch the next day. Love the fact you you can skip a week or 3 and because it is an expensive time to be alive. Vegan food is the future I hope Grubby blows up honestly :)) I don't know if the containers (some of the small spice pots) are recyclable because they are plastic but I imagine they are. They may even be Vegware if they're not then they should be

I couldn't like this company more. The app is simplicity itself and the food is really delicious & good value. I'm not a naturally great cook but have found the recipes easy to follow and actually a great starting point from which to experiment more with other meals. Love the playlists too - just a great vibe overall from this friendly & non-pushy brand.

Love this company. I'm so pleased I started getting weekly boxes. I don't have to think about what to cook, I get healthy and delicious meals delivered every week. The recipes are easy to follow and the results are just so tasty. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love receiving grubby boxes, it has helped both my daughter and I transition from vegetarian to vegan easier. The recipes are always tasty and easy to follow. I appreciate the good that Grubby do and I hope to start 4 meals per week rather than 2 shortly.

I’m a pescatarian but have settled with grubby after trying all the different brands including Gousto and Hellofresh. The quality of the produce and portion size is better. Although the recipes are exclusively vegan they are actually more exciting. I love the little Spotify playlist thats curated for you to listen to with each recipe. There is limited plastic packaging, most of it is recyclable. Finally, the summary of what you’ve saved on your carbon footprint is a great addition. Would highly recommend!
