Lovely recipes but …
My boy and I tried Grubby for just over a month. We home educate, so it was an idea to use this as part of his education.. easy to follow recipes with all the ingredients there. Every meal was nice. Great for dietary restrictions too (however, as celiacs we did react to one recipe, possibly the sriracha sauce is a “May contain”?). Unfortunately, although the recipes were lovely, some of the fresh ingredients weren’t so good. I got a refund of £5 , but that doesn’t cover going to the shops and back when you live rurally. It’s such a shame. We will try again maybe when it’s not summer, maybe that caused the problems. I guess, if you’re trying them keep a back up of the fresh veg in your fridge, so anything with mushrooms , avocado and tomatoes basically. Also, the tofu, as personal preference was a little too firm for us. Overall nice box, good customer service, great recipes but the quality of fresh ingredients was sadly not up to par.
