Bok choy was wilted
Meal selections were fun to explore and try. Several times I either did not receive the correct instruction card or it was missing. My main reason for stopping this service is due to poor customer service and a vicious attempt to screw the customer rather than listen to the customer. A family member has been using this service because I invited them. Things happen and not everyone is “perfect”, but your company has zero tolerance for a mistake (cut-off dates changing for the holiday weekend and it not being realized or seen until it is too late to make a change in order). Where has mercy gone? As a local business owner in the food industry, we always say the “customer is right” and do all we can to satisfy the customer. This company does not have that code of ethics in my opinion. Therefore, they lost 2 customers due to greed.
I have greatly enjoyed the meals and the exposure to new preparation techniques and sauces. Sadly, in my rural region, the delivery by FedEx Ground is awful. They have lost one delivery and leave others near road, almost a quarter mile from front door. Hope they can switch to UPS in the future.
The meals are good, but my last few have been delivered up to 2 days late.
I thought I had cancelled this order or all together. I can't keep up with having to pick my meals and I seem to only like one out of the 3 they send me. And they have sent repeat meals too. I would like to cancel entirely.
Recd moldy onion in one of the meals and customer service gave me a credit to my account.
The vegetables were not fresh and had to throw away
The app is so glitchy and hard to navigate and multiple times food has come already rotted. For how expensive it is I would have hoped for a better more consistent experience but will likely cancel after I’ve used up my credit.
The last two boxes got here with the ice nearly melted. Only about half of the produce looked good. I know you'll say it's the deliverer's fault, but if you're sending to TX, you need more ICE in the hot weather months.
Delivery was good but that particular week I didn’t like the food. The shrimp and grits.
Food is good. We get the Vegan menu and the meals are almost always good, albeit with some repetition. The biggest drawback is the unreliability of the delivery. Sometimes it comes on the scheduled day, sometimes the next day or two days late. Delivery is to my office because we don't get delivery at our house. Thus, sometimes it requires special trips to the office to see if the delivery occurred. No bueno.
I love Green chef. We use it occasionally when I get in a cooking rut. I don't enjoy cooking and my family has some food allergies so I run out of ideas. Green chef never disappoints! We feel like we are eating restaurant meals! Haven't been disappointed in any yet - even my kids like them!
We have had trouble for a few weeks even getting our box. One week it was days late and was spoiled. Two weeks ago it came two days late and was usable but no longer fresh. Then this week we didn’t get the box at all! Planning on canceling going forward. But we have paid for something we didn’t even get!
I love the ease in preparation of my meals. Your directions are great.
I sometimes am missing things or veges are bad. But rare Not seeing my rewards come through Overall we enjoy most meals some favorites others not so much
We have tried many different meal companies and Green Chef is our favorite.
I have enjoyed almost all of the meals. The ones I didn’t were usually just a taste preference. The ingredients are fresh, I have had only a couple of vegetables that didn’t arrive as fresh as they should. My picky husband enjoys them. He does the prep and I cook. He has gotten confused a couple of times over the directions but 95% of the time he gets it. I really enjoy the ease, not having to plan, the great taste and also helping me stay on my diet plan. My only complaint is the additional charge for some meals. It seems excessive to charge 8.99 per meal because it is a choice meal. I started out ordering some of them, but couldn’t see paying that much extra for those meals. So now my choices are more limited because I have stopped ordering the additional cost meals. Especially when several times the steak would have lots of grissel.
I called because I could not edit my meals on my laptop. It is frustrating, so while on the call, I went to my cell phone and I was able to change the meals. The gentlemen put in a ticket, so I hope it gets resolved. I looked the next day and it was on my laptop. But I just went in to edit my next weeks meals, and it will not let me on my laptop.
Good but pricey. Great variation of meals.
