Overall I have enjoyed the Greenchef meals. I only had one late delivery. What makes me mad is that I earned 3 different "rewards" and never received them. I complained multiple times through customer service. Each call takes at least 20 minutes of talking in circles. I got a credit for 2 of them, but I said I wanted the reward. I was told to expect it with my next box and then didn't receive anything. Instead of fixing the issue, the reward option is no longer there. I refuse to give anyone a "free box" if they can't even reward their existing customers.
Not always organic and you are not given the option to choose something else. I have received food that is not what I ordered. Some vegetables do not last but a day or so.
Always great food. Delivered fresh. Love how easy the recipe cards are to follow.
Customer service is good. Recipes are good. There have been mistakes on sending my weekly order when I have cancelled a few times. I've received a couple damaged items or warm items like fish.

We have tried Green Chef in the past and left because of poor quality food and small portions. We decided to give them another try. The portions have improved, as has the quality. However, the past two orders have been late without explanation. This most recent order includes fish and poultry which I'm guessing will be bad. We really wanted to love you, Green Chef. But your QC and customer support for food needs serious work. Lessons learned. We will not be back. Update 6/6/24 - even though the order was late, everything was still fresh and cold. We enjoyed a fish dinner last night that was delicious. We spoke with a GreenChef representative who was professional, polite and went above and beyond to take care of us. We were impressed and it changed our overall view of the company. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for creative and delicious meals.
Ingredients have always been fresh. This company has wonderful vegan and vegetarian options, which is the reason for my using a meal service.
The quality of ingredients is really good and the meals are delicious. Always on time. The isntructions are clear. We often get food with slices from a box cutter in them or the packaging so more care could be taken when putting these together.

The meals are healthy, easy to prepare and deliver is always on point! The packaging keeps your package fresh. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the limited choices for vegetarian meals. The meals they offer are delicious though!

My overall experiences with Green Chef are favorable. I have received about 45 meals over the past few months and only had issues with 3/45. I once had a delivery issue, with my UPS issue carrier, which resulted in the food being delivered the next day. My second issue involved missing spices and no protein for one of the dishes. My final issue involved old produce. The cauliflower was spoiled. I have not brought this to the attention of the company because I viewed each incident as a fluke, given the volume of deliveries. I do not see this as something I should be overly concerned about at this time but will continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly. Overall, I love the food and convenience of knowing what I will prepare each day for dinner.
Too much plastic. Recipe prep too similar. Website sometimes not clear on confirmation of order. Website sometimes has had problems.
