I like Green Chef, and it does make things super easy, but I feel like it’s the same type of recipes so I get burned out on it. I can take it or leave it.

Terrible customer service. Can’t cancel my subscription. Regular price box way way overpriced. Food is OK.

Deliveries coming late…deliveries left at mailbox and not on porch…ground pork is not that good…
I am very happy with Green Chef, the quality has been good majority of the time. We have tried pork, chicken, salmon, and shrimp and turkey. We haven’t tried any beef options yet. The best part for me is not having to stress about what to make for dinner 3 days a week. I have been under extra stress lately and this is a relief knowing I have “something” to cook at home and don’t need to worry about ingredients. We have a 19 year who eats double portions so some meals when I know he will be home I select 4 servings, and some just 2. Most meals are quick, and easy. Flavors are always good, I have likely everything.
The portions are getting smaller and smaller. And less and less cut up. Not worth the money anymore.
Delivery is terrible I really wish I could give the box 5 stars. The ingredients are wonderful, the recipes are fantastic (I choose from the Keto options) Customer service is great. But delivery is horrible. The past 2 boxes half of the food was not good. Why? First it’s 2 day delivery on a hot truck, second FedEx NEVER puts the box in the industrial fridge that’s in the mailroom (I live in a condo) I NEVER get a notification when it is delivered so it sits for 3 days in heat. Yes there are ice packs in the box but it’s been so hot here that it doesn’t save the food. This has been happening for MONTHS. I know it’s Fedex and not Green Chef but you would think Green Chef would address this with FedEx. One suggestion is overnight the food and put some big bright label that it’s RAW food and needs to be refrigerated. This would be PERFECT if the delivery issues would get resolved.
I sincerely enjoy most of your recipes and I appreciate the interesting and attractive ways it is prepared, but you really need to make a way to make it easier to edit the weekly menu because my family is pickier than I and recipes go to waste when I don't have more control. It's too expensive to have to deal with that. PLEASE make it easier to edit weekly menus!
Great ingredients and menus make for memorable meals
We love the food. However, several times now we have had an item missing here and there in our meals.
The quality of food has gone down. We receive rotten or almost rotten vegetables. Many of the protein items we received leaked all m over our fridge. And everytime we ordered a pork dish, we received chicken. I've actually had misding protein and had to go to the store. The portion size is so small. I'm a tiny person. Then it was a negotiation on the credit we received when we called to complain. It was we will offer you $ but if you press them they will offer you $$. It seems that if you are sending me rotten food or missing items you should be crediting me at the highest level. Their recipes aren't bad but the quality just isn't there.
The food is really delicious! My only complaint is that the portions for the vegan options are really small. We do love them though.

My orders are arriving very late, around 7 pm in over 100 degrees weather. Ever single box I have had in the last 8 boxes has had a problem. My most recent order, the vegetables were almost all rotten. Before that, the meat arrived hot. Before that, the meat was exploded and open in the box. I have never once been able to use or access a single reward and just been given responses that they will be added back or I will be given credits but have never received them. The quality has gone down massively since I first ordered yet the price has remained the same or gone up. The chopped chicken is always just mostly fat and gristle. It's disgusting. Really unhappy and will probably cancel.
Box is always on time. Lots of meals to choose from and always super fresh. The pork is the best I have ever had. Love the service.
I love the choices of diet (American, keto, Mediterranean, gluten-free, etc)! I love the all-inclusive ingredients in each meal sack, and I appreciate the high-quality!

like everything about it! Except the delivery. Sometimes the boxes come ripped apart sometimes they come dripping wet. Wish there was a better way to get delivery. But I can’t say enough good about the program. I love that. There’s no waste. I don’t have to buy big bottles of spices. And I love the step-by-step directions with heads up ideas
The menu has a wide range of healthy options to explore. I enjoyed the variety and simplicity of the recipes. I also enjoyed learning new recipes and combinations. The introduction discount price is amazing. Once you're paying the full-price, it's difficult to keep going weekly with the service. I would prefer an option to order 3 meals instead of the minimum 6 they have, b/c I am ordering for 1 person. I did use the meals for lunch/dinner, but after a while, I had to start freezing my food to make sure it wouldn't go bad. I ended up cancelling for the summer months b/c of how busy I am, I grow my own food and I don't eat as much in the summer. I wanted to be sure the cost was worth any waste that might happen. Overall, this is a great company with fresh ingredients and great tasting food. Compared to other food delivery services, Green Chef has a much wider variety of menu. You definitely get what you pay for. I am seriously considering this again in the fall or winter to keep up with healthy, fresh food menus in my house. I gave them a 4 star due to pricing and no option to really lower the cost except by enticing others to buy-in. Hoping they start a loyalty program for long-time customers and reduce the meal number to something more palatable for single-users. Worth a try!
Having all of the ingredients separate and labeled is great. I have used other services where it was just tossed in the box so this works well. Some meals are big hits, some not but the variety of choices is great. It just takes a little time to figure out exactly what works for your tastebuds, and feeding picky kids isn’t easy.
