Gottle Gas Reviews

Water heater was installed and left without drain pipe and is now rusting in a pool of water in pan. Specialists my ass. Im not paying another cent for this shit. First person dry fired the first watern heater and this one rusted it out. Nope. Go somewhere else

very quick and reliable service from gotten gas would rate them, have used a few times now

Excellent service, despite a number of issues which were out of Gottle's control. E-mails were always responded to promptly and politely, and they persevered and got the job done. Thank you very much.

Excellent service and best price available.

Great service, works well and great prices. Delivery a little slow

Unfortunately having been a customer for several years, I feel badly let down. I switched from Calorgas about 3 years ago to Gottle Gas (aka Wold Link) instead. They were great and the price was good. They didn't want the empty Calorgas bottles, so I phoned the local Calorgas depot, who took them away last year. Gottle Gas delivered a mix of AvantiGas and FloGas branded 47KG bottles. I emailed them last week to ask for a refill and their response was that they now exclusively deal with Calorgas. As a result they don't want anything to do with the either of the 2 non-Calorgas bottles that they delivered to me. I was not given any notice of this change to their policy and have been badly disadvantaged as a result. I have contacted Avanti Gas who said I'm out of their area, but Gottle Gas were working in partnership with them to deliver to new areas at the time of my previous delivery. Gottle Gas now want me to pay £250 for 2x new Calorgas bottle contracts as well as the gas. When I tried to reason with them, they wouldn't budge. I have recommended them to people over the last couple of years. I regret that now. Moral of the story; Avoid Gottle Gas / Wold Link, stick with Calorgas or another reputable supplier. Caveat emptor! *Update #1- in response to your flippant comments below as I am not able to respond directly.... No email or code received. That was the crux of my complaint. I would very much appreciate you removing the GDRP data breach in your response. If not I will be reporting you to the Information Commissioner. If your response below is an example of the level of customer service from an executive officer in your company, then I'm well shot of you. *Update #2 - Thank you for removing my personal data from your response below, much appreciated.

Booked on line and purchased two Calor bottles, I was then given the date of delivery. I needed to ask a question on a couple of occasions via email and received a reply every time, pretty much straight away, so thank you Rachel. The day before delivery Calor sent me a text with an ETA, it's a new text service and may not be available in every area, so I've been advised. Since the above review, my expectations have wained a tad. I have used Gottle twice and everything went smooth. On my third order now and only just been contacted by Calor after 12 days. My advice is don't hope for any kind of quick delivery. Once you've placed an order it's hope for the best, looks I was just lucky with my first two orders as once an order is placed Gottle is out of the frame.

Simple good service. Old bottle collected, new one delivered. No drama

Can't fault them. Polite delery man, kept me informed along the way... Cheaper than my local supplier so its a win win Will use again without hesitation. Tj

Placed my first order with Gottle Gas and am thoroughly impressed with the service. Particular praise goes to Jessica Brown from their customer service who was expeditious and efficaious in replying to my email queries. Prices are also favourable. Highly recommended.

I ordered gas today, with wide coverage claimed over the UK. I paid via Paypal, left full clear address and contact details. Then thinking this was all arranged, received an email, 1. confirming contact details 2. Then having answered that, a message saying Calor do not cover my area, its central South Wales. 3. Tried to find out how to leave this review, on chat person was evasive, and eventually said try Google search. Would not recommend, lets see if I get my money back, however really, this is a poor service.

Excellent. Fast delivery at s good price.

Just had my gas delivered on time from gottle gas Lincoln. Paddy, the delivery man was friendly and helpful.

I ordered 13kg patio gas last Monday and received a text on Thursday stating it would arrive on Friday between 10:30-13:45 - it is now Sunday and it still hasn't arrived. I spoke to a member of the online team and they could not update me on the status of the order and I was told to get in contact on Monday. There should be more communication and knowledge of where the product they are selling is as I have no clue where my order is.

Were very good until they randomly changed from Flogas to Calor. Now pricing is very poor. As of June 2020 charging £69 for a 47kG propane when even other online sites are charging £59. Bear in mind that oil price is at an all time low, so why the inflated price I do not know? I have always found local Calor dealer more expensive then Flogas so why Gottle had to switch I have no idea? Higher profit margin perhaps? So what is the point in ordering from Gottle when I can order cheaper myself locally? None at all. No surprise that you just lost a long-time customer, and I would guess many others too.

This is my second purchase of gas off Gottle gas. There was an issue with this delivery but it was resolved professionally and courteously with good communication and it certainly has not deterred me from using the company again.

Ordered and delivered in time stated

Great price and delivered quickly 🙂

Great price, super customer service and really prompt delivery through the Calor network - very impressed, would recommend to anyone!

Ordered patio gas on the 20th April, advised 14 day delivery time...arrived this morning after 4 days! Fab service.
