I stayed five days at a rental in Barcelona - I provided positive and negative feedback and Friendly Rentals ONLY posted the positive feedback and not the negative - that means that I will not use them again because I WANT to see the negatives - the negatives were that the heat did not work, they had no spare towels or toilet paper (I have never had to go out and buy toilet paper for a lodging), no incidentals (salt, oil), in the kitchen (this was a "premium" place), dust bunnies under the bed, and for the price, the apartment was very basic and low end furniture. I stayed at many lodgings throughout my month in Europe and this is the ONLY one that did not provide a welcome chocolate/wine/etc.
We rented an apartment via friendly rental. The service was highly professional and the apartment great. It has fulfilled our wishes.
Assolutamente da evitare! La casa non è come appare in foto! Abbiamo dovuto aprire il divano per fare il letto...sorpresa! Il coprimaterasso sporco e pieno di peli! Abbiamo fatto la caccia al tesoro per trovare le lenzuola( alcune erano macchiate!) e i cuscini, stipati nell’armadio. Al nostro rientro ho scoperto che mi avevano addebitato 13.90€ per la mancanza di un cuscino. Ho spiegato di aver lasciato lo stesso numero di cuscini che avevo trovato, e che probabilmente nel richiudere il divano poteva essere scivolato dietro oppure essere rimasto dentro. Se le addette alle pulizie avessero aperto il divano per pulire come si deve,magari lo avrebbero trovato! Non è per la cifra irrisoria ma per principio! Cosa avrei potuto farmene di un cuscino! Quando ho chiamato per reclamare perfino la ragazza del call center si è messa a ridere per l’assurdita’ delle questione! Questa gente troverà sempre qualcosa che non va al check out, tanto è la loro parola contro la nostra e alla fine si prendono sempre i soldi! Che bel giochetto! A proposito...ma la lista degli oggetti presenti in casa dov’era? Eh eh eh....
Fantastic accommodation in a central location in Paris! All amenities required were there. Very helpful with local knowledge on arrival.
I would recommend Friendly Rentals to everyone who wants to stay in a clean and cozy place. The apartment was comfortable with easy to use kitchen, clean bathroom and nice bedrooms. The location was very good with all transport close by and the keys pick up was perfectly arranged from the Company.
I would NOT recommend this place! We checked in at the Barcelona office, left our place an hour later, came back a few hours later and our computer, iPad, camera, credit cards, and some jewelry were stolen. There was no forced entry and the door was locked (we triple checked before we left) so it was clearly someone associated with FR that had a key and knew we just checked in. We called FR that night and sent several emails. They did nothing for us! When we went to the office the next day, they "had no idea" and did not offer to help except to say we could go stay somewhere else and they would refund us, but nothing about our lost items. Luckily, Air bnb was able to find another place for us to stay. We filed a police report and were told this not the first time they heard their name associated with theft , so they will be looking into it. This company posts properties on air bnb under fake names like "Claudia" so that it appears you are renting from a person. They are shady, and not trustworthy. You don’t want to start your vacation like this!

Bonito y cómodo apartamento, cerca del metro y en una zona donde pude aparcar mi furgoneta con facilidad gratuitamente. Perfecto para visitar Madrid
Struttura ben posizionata, comoda e confortevole. Receptionist davvero professionali e gentili. La consiglio a famiglie, coppie e gruppi di amici.
Great modern apartment in middle of Sevilla old town. We did find two elevators, one directly to garage, so very easy to bring luggage up an down. Very nice open walkways to apartments. Definetly considering Friendly Rentals Tempa Museum for next visit to Sevilla.
Have failed to return my 200 pound damage deposit. Ignoring all messages on whatsapp so I know they have read them and ignoring all emails.
We love these apartments. We stayed for the 2nd time just recently and we will definitely return when visiting our son again. The apartments are very clean and modern and very well equipped. The shower is super and the large, comfortable bed is ideal. The building is in a lovely neighbourhood, close to restaurants and the metro but yet quiet at night. Check in is friendly and informative and staff are always at hand to help if needed. I have no hesitation in recommending these apartments to travelers and , as I said previously, I look forward to a return visit.
Todas las veces que hemos reservado estancias con ellos ha sido muy satisfactoria. Trato del personal, ubicación de las viviendas, estado de las mismas siempre impecable y con todo lo necesario para tener una estancia agradable. Estuvimos unos días en un apartamento de Madrid en el barrio de canaletas, aparentemente el apartamento muy bonito y céntrico pero enseguida empezamos a ver las complicaciones, el apartamento todo diáfano para dos personas bien pero para cuatro personas muy incomodo, si los de la cama quieren dormir hasta que los del sofá no quieran dormir imposible, es bastante abuhardillado y si abres el sofá muy incomodo ir a la cocina, desayunar si otros duermen tampoco estás supeditado a que todos los que estén hagan lo mismo, otro inconveniente es el olor del baño insoportable además tienes la cama enfrente y todo el rato pendiente de que se quede la puerta cerrada, lo que es muy céntrico y tiene un supermercado en frente, también dos discotecas con el ruido que con lleva y la gente en la misma puerta del apartamento, también coincidió que había un grupo de chavales en frente y vibraba el piso nuestro muchísimo, otro inconveniente ha sido tener que recoger las llaves en otro sitio con lo que conlleva cargar con las maletas a por las llaves ect, en todos los apartamentos que he estado hasta ahora o bien tenían una recepción debajo que nos facilitó mucho las cosas tanto para recoger las llaves o lo que necesitáramos incluso dejar las maletas y aprovechar el último día, cosa que aquí es muy complicado porque no te dejan ni un minuto mas de las once y si quieres dejar las maletas tienes que ir donde se recogen las llaves con lo cual no compensa, desde luego nosotros no repetiremos.
El apartamento es correcto. El servicio pésimo. Hay un punto de recogida de la llave lo cual resulta muy incómodo, pero eso no es lo peor. Te la entregan, nadie te acompaña a ver el estado del apartamento ni los posibles desperfectos y te dicen que el día de salida dejes la llave encima de la mesa. Te bloquean en la tarjeta la cantidad de 200 euros y queda bloqueada durante ocho días. Como no te acompañan a la entrada y a la salida nadie viene a comprobar el estado del apartamento antes de dejarlo, pueden aplicar la fianza a su antojo. En mi caso alquilamos dos apartamentos, íbamos tres parejas en familia. En uno de los apartamentos solo entramos a dormir y movimos dos sillas al otro para poder desayunar juntos y que cada uno tuviera su silla. El día de salida no colocamos las dos sillas en el apartamento (ni nos dimos cuenta la verdad) y a los tres días me enviaron un correo informándome de que acababan de ejecutar la fianza por no dejar las sillas en su sitio. Contesté al correo argumentando nuestro malestar y explicando que bien podían haberlas colocado en su sitio las señoras de la limpieza. No me contestaron. Llame por teléfono y me dieron un dirección de atención al cliente. En esta ocasión me contestaron diciendo que las "camareras de limpieza no pueden mover la silla de un apartamento a otro porque no es su responsabilidad" y que se vieron obligados a enviar "un personal más para la colocación correcta". Ninguna de las tres parejas volveremos a reservar con ellos, nos sentimos estafados.
Huren van appartement en ontvangst zijn prima geregeld via Friendly Rentals. Enige grote minpunt is dat de reviews op hun website van appartementen niet geheel betrouwbaar zijn. Minder positieve reviews over een appartement worden blijkbaar niet gepubliceerd. Dat is jammer, hierdoor weet je niet altijd zeker wat je huurt.
Booked sn apartment in the centre of Valencia 9 months ago and paid a deposit.the booking was for 10 people in one apartment. 6 DAYS BEFORE OUR FLIGHT they cancelled our booking and offered us 2 separate apartments near the beach which is miles out of Valencia centre which is where we need to be. Only a few days before we were asked to input all details of the party going including passport details etc for them to cancel it a few days later. As you can imagine trying to source another apartment for 10 people with the same budget we have set aside (bearing in mind we travel in less than a week!) is absolutely ridiculous. One of the party members is disabled so a beach apartment when we need a central one is hardly meeting our requirements! To say we are disappointed is an under statement. To take a booking on an apartment 9 months before and then cancel 6 days before is disgusting! If I was to cancel I would lose money on my deposit - but when it’s the other way round we are given nothing in compensation apart from an apartment miles away that would end up costing us loads in taxis. Hardly fair or ‘friendly’ In my opinion. I will never use this company again and would advise anyone else considering doing so to also look elsewhere!
Ran into a lot of problems with our apartment (Almeida) in Valencia: - bed bugs (four of them, send picture of three) - defective dishwasher (which was confirmed, we had to clean up all the water it had leaked. Reported, no technician was sent. Also had to solve the electricity problems caused by the defective dishwasher) - stairgate loose (if you have younger kids, don’t book this apartment!) - defective floor on lots of places (quality is very poor) - lots of places with water damage (again, quality is poor) - malfunctioning lights - Outdated and defective furniture Informed Friendly Rentals, spent over 25 hours on cleaning/reporting/re-reporting/reminding/rereminding and the only answer is please remain patient. Terrible communication (Friendly Rental informed us on the day of arrival that they did no longer manage this apartment). Any complaint remains unanswered, reminders are answered by requesting patience…for over a month!) In other words, aftersales is absolutely terrible. My advice: don’t book at Friendly Rentals! [Update 16-11-2018] "shortly"...haven't heart from Friendly Rentals ever since! Again, complaint was reported in person and by email on September 30th. Will update this review periodically. [Update 12-12-2018] Again, no communication whatsoever, used Facebook as new communication platform (as Twitter didn’t resolve the lack of communication either). [Update 5-2-2019] After over 4 months the outcome was disappointing: FR doesn't have a relationship with the appartment owner any longer and they no longer rent the appartment. Because of this, there is no offer from FR at all. They are responsible but don't take responsibility. This outcome was told me over the phone, it required 4 phone calls (from my site) in the last two days. No official statement, no letter, no nothing. James, the very polite emplyee of FR, suggested that this review might have influenced the decission. [Update 6-2-2019] FR responded: "Antwoord van Friendly Rentals 3 uur geleden Emiel, as mentioned before we no longer have this apartment online. We apologize for ones more for the inconvenience caused. Please feel free to reach out to James anytime if you need further explanations. Kind regards, Friendly Rentals." James suggested yesterday to sent an email if the outcome was unacceptable. So that he could forward it to the FR management. As if over (around) 20 emails wasn't enough in the first place. Big fail, never will book at FR ever.
I spent one week in Barcelona in a Freindly Rentals apartment on La Rambla. There were many things that did not function and the cuboard had a crack in it which I showed too my family which was staying with me. It was obvioulsy a damage that had been there for a long time. When I did not recieve my deposit I wrote too them and they claimed that I had damaged the cuboard and that they would inform me of the costs. Aside from the fact that we did not do the damage, they never answered me again, despite my endless mails!! 200 Euro gone and they managed this through blatently lying!! I will never rent a place again and will tell all my freinds rhe same thing!
