cancelled my booking 6 days before travel!!
Booked sn apartment in the centre of Valencia 9 months ago and paid a deposit.the booking was for 10 people in one apartment. 6 DAYS BEFORE OUR FLIGHT they cancelled our booking and offered us 2 separate apartments near the beach which is miles out of Valencia centre which is where we need to be. Only a few days before we were asked to input all details of the party going including passport details etc for them to cancel it a few days later. As you can imagine trying to source another apartment for 10 people with the same budget we have set aside (bearing in mind we travel in less than a week!) is absolutely ridiculous. One of the party members is disabled so a beach apartment when we need a central one is hardly meeting our requirements! To say we are disappointed is an under statement. To take a booking on an apartment 9 months before and then cancel 6 days before is disgusting! If I was to cancel I would lose money on my deposit - but when it’s the other way round we are given nothing in compensation apart from an apartment miles away that would end up costing us loads in taxis. Hardly fair or ‘friendly’ In my opinion. I will never use this company again and would advise anyone else considering doing so to also look elsewhere!
