The agent Andrew is very nice and helped me solve my issue. Unfortunately it was my third call and 1 month waiting for service. The app and website are also needed of an update. It's really hard to schedule services. The names are not really clear.
After a recent service a part inside the softener broke. Because of this a jelly like stuff clogged all our taps and outlets. We had to call home emergency who were unable to diagnose the problem. We had to call a plumber who changed most taps and shower outlets. He also had to clean boiler as this was recommended by emergency cover people.
We called EWT once we discovered it was due to softener, they came and replaced the part, the person also accepted it happened immediately after service. Same happened with my friend in the past where EWT covered all the cost of disruption. In my friend's case he did not get the repairs done until he talked to EWT. In our case we discovered this at a later stage.
I ended up spending more than a thousand pounds towards repairs due to their fault.
I wrote to them several emails and called them few times, they have ignored all my emails and calls.
Once an agent on the phone call said he will contact head office and come back to me which has never happened.
Rubbish after sales and customer service. If anything happens with your softener as explained above you are on your own.
As explained above the cause was a faulty part inside the softener and fault occurred immediately after the service.
I will not recommend this to anyone.
When I ordered online, I incorrectly ordered 2 sets of machines however I just need one. Customer services representative Abbie was so helpful to correct it for me and reply me promptly.
EWT installed a gold 606 7 years ago, and this month the resin tank has failed flooding the whole hose with small resin balls which have blocked every tap, shower ,w.c etc. When finally cleared EWT's 10 year guarantee is worthless, unless you have paid £150 a year to have it serviced, which amounts to blowing out a couple of filters. Phoned them and were completely unhelpful. have since been told to buy a Harveys softener, much more reliable for the same money. Won't be buying anything from EWT again.
I'm not happy with the water filter installment because it's almost one week since it is installed and the water is not clear all we can see is some black in the water, I want to ask what is the guarantee that it is working and the plant is really cleaning the water to drink
I'm left with no choice but to leave this review. It all started very well over 10years ago and I have had no issues until I decided to move. I asked for the system to be uninstalling and installed back to my new home with an option to upgrade. That's where it all went wrong, the company have been poor with communication, I'm promised calls from the sales team that never came and this is a few times of trying. I asked for a manager call back that never happened. I've been left with 5 months of no service whilst I'm still paying my direct debit. You have no shame whilst you still have your customer service team to call and ask me to book my annual service of a system I don't even have currently.
Ewt I recommended you in the beginning and now your service is poor, you don't seem to care for those that have been around for over 10years. I sent an email weeks ago and no response either, another to follow after this review. Very poor service.
EWT sent out Kestutis to service our water softener which was not working.
He changed the filter for the drinking water but the water softener needed so major parts
He came back once he had the parts and did a fantastic job in repairing it for us
He was very Efficient tidy and polite I would have no hesitation to recommend EWT the repairs were carried out under the guarantee and I did not have to pay any extra cost

EWT fail to fulfill their promise after installation
EWT asked me after installation to leave two positive reviews and promised me two bags of water softening salt in return. I fell for it and contacted them several times so they could redeem their pledge. They never responded. This makes a lot of their positive reviews suspicious to me.
We got a water softener, reverse osmosis and new tap fitted but it was not working when installed as installer had not got the correct pipe and said we should get a plumber to fix. We actually got a plumber, but the system didn't work. Service person came after paying for everything in full and said he fixed it. It stopped working and started making a noise again within a day of leaving. He came again and said he couldn't fix it and was leaving the company... it's constantly making the same noise and no one has come to fix it... Disgusting service.
This is an awesome experience much better then other brands because they are providing same thing but half of the price.
I will recommend everyone to chose EWT

The process was really smooth of selecting the product and scheduling the installation and the communication really clear, and it was all via email.
Thanks to Abbie, even though I end up selecting the wrong product to install initially, it was easily changed in time to the visit for the installation. So far, really happy with the Customer Care of the company.
