Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.
Prompt response to queries. Actually got to speak to someone on the phone, which was great, and didn't have to wait long for call pick up. All staff helpful and knowledgeable about my case.

Really straightforward, tasks and progress are easily viewed with notifications of what’s required & when sent to all applicants email addresses. Felt like we filled in the remortgage questionnaire and then all the stress was taken away and we barely had to do anything! Online chat functionality is really useful too. Would definitely recommend Enact and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again :)

Remortgages (particularly when it involves help to buy as ours did) are known to be very stressful, but we were grateful for the opposite experience with Enact Conveyancing. As Enact were the selected conveyancer of our lender, we were concerned that it would be a difficult process, however everything was straightforward. All communications were speedy and polite. It was very easy to share documents online and the chat process worked well too. We needed to complete between two specific dates to avoid charges, and Enact sorted it out perfectly. We had a great experience with our Conveyancer, Libby and other fab members of the team Saira and Nabz who were polite, supportive and efficient.
Really Great experience, had no issues at all with the remortgaging. Completed on the date that they said it would and generally a completely faultless transition to a new mortgage. Would not hesitate to use again and hoping do so in the future

Very easy company to deal with - easy to handle pretty much everything via their online portal. Would certainly use again if ever doing another mortgage.
Beware of their quotes and pricing. We started with a telephone conversation quoting a price that included the fact that a mortgage would need to be paid off which was an additional fee. When the official quote arrived the quote did not include the extra fee and so this had been added. We were sent subsequent information showing that a random fee had been added to the costs. We questioned this and it was removed but we had no explanation or apology afterwards. On 20th January we agreed a completion date of 31st January. On 28th January we exchanged contracts (why the 8 day delay?) and we're informed that an additional £100 would be payable because there were fewer than 5 days between exchange and completion. Used them twice for residential purchase/sale. They were terrible, never replied to emails and were slow at progressing anything. Transactions lasted a very long due to their incompetence. This time they are dealing with a remortgage and were instructed by the lender. They took a long time to send the documents after constant chasing I got them but in wrong names. I am still constantly chasing them to send ones in correct names. Remortgage has been significantly delayed and they ignore all emails. I have chased them non stop now and they are just non responsive.
I wasn't sure about using Enact before as I wasn't aware of them however I couldn't fault anything throughout the process. There were set backs and difficulties in the last month before completion caused by Help to Buy and the fact my partner and I were out the country for two weeks, however, despite this Enact still managed to complete on time.
Ref - 00800469/00303208 , not much to say tbh but I'm now £800 in the red ! Because off enact not completing on time and just complete garbage service I could go into a lot more detail but i honestly can not be bothered to give these clowns anymore of my oxygen
