Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

This is second time we are using Enact. Really happy with their service and everything done on time without delay. I will use this agency again.
The experience has been hassle-free, clear, and easy to understand. My only issue is that the mortgage redemption was requested three months before completion, and this amount was used for the final settlement of my mortgage. Naturally, the surplus funds had to be returned to my account, and I had to pay a fee for this, which is my only concern.

Enact handled our remortgage and to say the whole experience was easy and stress free is an under statement, Sue was great at keeping us in the picture the whole way through and was always on hand to help with any queries, if Sue wasn't available one of the team were happy to help and the service levels were consistent the who way through.
I dealt with Enact during a remortgage application with Nationwide. I found their administration and customer service to be extremely poor. They contacted me mainly by a chat function within an online portal and the quality of the interactions was awful. They were slow to respond, they asked me multiple times for my marriage certificate, giving me different email addresses to send it to, telling me I’d given them the wrong account information for my other mortgage which was provably untrue, using this piece of information to blame me as to why they couldn’t request my redemption certificate when I’d already been told on the phone that they had it! I eventually cancelled the remortgage because I couldn’t deal with these clowns any more. Fast forward approximately 6 weeks after cancellation and Nationwide are chasing me up about the remortgage because Enact didn’t even bother to tell them that I’d cancelled! Unbelievably bad.

I have not enjoyed the experience with enact. Inaccurate information in emails, lack of communication and overall lack of clarity and assurance of the process being done in a timely manner has me feeling nervous about being left like others to pay a higher flexible rate to my current lender, while enact process my mortgage to the new lender. Only one call has left me feeling at all reassured that this might actually happen. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed.

Enact made something that is usually so stressful, feel under control and that they had every covered, every step of the way. Highly recommend if you’re looking to have an easier experience during something you have little control over. Communication was great and the online experience was 1st class.
I would give zero stars if that were an option. I used Enact for my remortgage, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I provided my current mortgage end date a month in advance, as requested. Over the phone, I was assured that my remortgage would be completed by February 3, 2025. On February 1, I reached out to follow up, as I had not received any updates. I was told that my case handler would contact me on Monday after an internal escalation. However, from February 3 to February 6, I called twice a day and was consistently told that my case handler was unavailable. Despite multiple promises of a callback and several emails sent to team leaders, my calls were ignored. I finally received a call on February 7—only to be informed that my completion date was set for February 11. As a result of this delay and lack of communication, my current lender charged me a higher interest rate. I raised a complaint with customer service, but after two weeks, I have yet to receive a response. This experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend Enact to anyone seeking a smooth and reliable remortgaging process.
Prompt and responsive team. Quick to adapt to some ever changing circumstances including potential buyer opting out at the last minute.

I was passed by Barclays to Enact, the process with so smooth, I couldn't believe, I had no issues, I was told it would take 4-8 wks, it took less that 3wks. Everyone I chatted to or spoke to were very helpful, I could not fault them
Instructed via Santander. Notified of surprise extra costs after commencement of work. Still haven't confirmed they'' not be charged. Out of synch postal document issue. Repeated lost documents. Unnecessary delays. Incredibly inefficient. Awkward & obstructive. Unable to work outside of standard process & use logical decision making to overcome minor difficulties. Won't deal with complaints until after completion - so I have to be tied into mortgage deal before I know If I'm sufficiently satisfied with compensation to want to remain a customer. I do not trust their competence nor their word.

First time using Enact. They were very good from the start. Their customer service team, really are a 5 star, so helpful and kind. They took the time to ensure i understood what was being asked of me and had the patience to guide me through every stage. My main caseworker was good also, constantly keeping me up to date with what was happening. The software used, was very smooth and i would recommend them to anyone to give them a try. Thank you to the Enact team.
