The people of Ireland were so welcoming! Our tour director and bus driver were magnificent! All of the hotels were very nice quality. Ireland temperatures were cool and it would be misty occasionally but that was great for Europe in June. The students enjoyed seeing & learning about the nature, history, language, and culture.
Everything was super easy...from the communication throughout, the training sessions, to our on-site tour director!
I went on my 1st EF Tour with my daughter's school to South Africa. I loved the payment plan and the process prior to going on the trip with an exception of being notified when the flight information was uploaded. I have 3 majors comments about the tour. Overall the tour was Excellent, I loved the places we visited and the experience that we had. I had a problem with the flights and the airlines that we used KLM for our flights. I would prefer that EF Tours evaluate all flights not based on the cheapest flights. KLM waited to the last minute to change our 15 person group flights the morning of our departure and we were not able to travel together as a group. Our group was split into 3 Groups with 3 separate flights to South Africa all arriving at different times. Also, the booking agent at one of the groups was so rude and nasty to us, she gave us false information about checking bags and lost all of our bags. So, the very 1st day of out tour their were 5 female students who didn't have their bags. Not only did it the trip start off on a bad note but all of this could have been prevented if we were on a more reliable airlines. Once we got to Joburg, we were ok. Our Tour Guide Lee was awesome, but I think EF Tours should allow the tour guides with the permission of the Group Leader to have more lead way with the iternary. At times we felt rushed and it left really no room for free time at some of the places we went. I absolutely enjoyed the trip and think that Lee our Tour Guide did a great job. I would recommend that we have more time engaging with the community. Since, our entire Group were African Americans alot of people were excited to see us because it's a rare occasion for them. We loved going to Langa, and we donated clothes there but we would have loved more time engaging with the community. Thanks again for a Great trip and I can't wait to go on the next trip.
Amazing experience! Our tour guide Patrick very knowledgeable, he made the trip just perfect.
Our tour guide was amazing. He engaged both the students and adults on the tour. Student's blossomed and grew and learned and became brave and aware in so many ways. As an adult on the tour, I have no complaints that were in EF’s control. My student, however, was very unhappy about sleeping on a very uncomfortable cot which had a broken rung that then forced her to sleep on the floor instead of an actual bed for two nights. She worked hard to pay for this trip, and that was upsetting to her.
Well organized and an exceptional tour guide.
The 9 day tour with 16 high school students was easy because of all of the planning EF did for us. The activities, food and balance of free time and tours was perfect for our group.
Excellent tour director. Robbie is very knowledgeable, but even more importantly, he is very passionate about his work. He is great with kids. He made this trip truly special.
It was a great trip! Our tour guide was awesome and very knowledgeable about Iceland. The bus driver was great, felt very safe the whole trip. Great experience for parents to have a good time and watch your children have a good time and interact with other students from different states.
The communication was top tier!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!
Thank you for giving my daughter the experience of her life. I couldn’t ask for anything more then this.
Our tour director and bus driver were amazing! We had a large group that did not travel lightly and the patience and understanding was impeccable. Five stars for them! I did remove a star as my daughter has a gluten allergy and her dinner options were limited to chicken curry 3 of the days with 2 being back to back.
The whole trip was wonderful-- the itinerary/ flights/ hotel were great, and the tour director, Maria, was excellent.
The trip was very well organized and parents were kept informed to quell any concerns about allowing our teenager to travel so far. Our son came back very happy.
My son and I went on the Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand tour with optional extensions (farm to table/ rice growing; national preserve in Thailand, and Hua Hin) this tour was absolutely phenomenal. The guides were great and able to give history and help immerse us in local culture. The inclusion of nearly all meals was great, the accommodations for a person with celiac were not always understood, but always were able to work it out. When geopolitical tension between Cambodia and Thailand boiled over and the border got shut down by the Thai military the morning we were supposed to take a bus into Thailand, EF organized flights and everything went off without a hitch! Very impressed!
My son went with the school. He had an amazing time. Thank you for keeping my son safe.
We had an amazing time on our EF Tour to Belize. From the beginning to the end, the trip was well-executed by EF every step of the way. We felt supported from the planning as well as through the entire trip. We highly recommend using them for your student travel needs.
EF Tour provided excellent service. They delivered exactly what they promised.
We had a fabulous time and our tour director was amazing! We had a couple of hiccups with logistics but nothing major.
Most of the accommodations were very nice and comfortable.
