Our EF Tour (Alps & Mediterranean Coast) was an unforgettable experience, made extraordinary by our incredible guide, Valentina. Her impeccable planning skills, intelligence, and calm leadership made every day seamless. From navigating busy cities to organizing complex travel logistics across multiple countries, Valentina handled everything with grace and precision. We always felt informed, prepared, and cared for—and that’s a testament to her extraordinary talent. Huge shoutout as well to our amazing group leader, Sarah Morris, whose attention to detail and preparation ensured that our entire group was ready for every country, every cultural moment, and every unexpected twist along the way. Her leadership set the tone for a safe, organized, and truly enriching adventure. EF Tours is lucky to have leaders like Valentina and Sarah—this trip wouldn’t have been the same without them!

The entire experience was well planned and they provide an easy to follow plan from signing up through the return home. All of the accommodations were top notch and safety was a top priority.

Everything was great especially the people the gia guy Elio and the bus driver our group leader we have a good experience.

I was so impressed with EF from beginning to end. Excellent communication and they were always there to help anytime the unexpected happened. The tour itself was extraordinary and is one of the best trips I’ve taken. Highly recommended!

Prior to travel my EF coordinators were awesome. If they didn’t know the answers to my questions or concerns they would get right back to me. I loved the trip but I would suggest a hotel early on that had a pool maybe 2nd or 3rd day, as the students really got more acquainted/ice breaker. Temperatures were extremely high so maybe not so much walking even though EF is a walking company.

My entire tour group was screwed over... weather has our original flight canceled, and rebooked for the next day... we didn't make it to our 1st destination til 1 day later. So we didn't get what was advertised on our first stop. We spent one day at said location and we weren't able to enjoy what any of us really wanted to. For this situation their wasn't any compensation at all. So im advising everyone to be careful with this decision. It's a lot of money even for an education tour. So like us we didn't get our full money's worth.

The trip was amazing all but one hotel. There water was cold for the shower and shut off during the shower.

My son absolutely loved his trip to Europe. He said everything was well planned and their guides were amazing!

Loved seeing all the temples & shrines. Our tour guide in Korea, LiXin, was knowledgeable & fun! We had full days but were able to have some down time at night. Hotel accommodations were great too.

Ian was the absolute best. He made it w point to get to know each person and had time for everyone. He was fabulous

Great experience. Wish the group was told when we were going to have self guided breaks in the city. Our tour lead was even unaware if we were going to have breaks. Although I had researched the cities, it would have been nice to know when those breaks were happening so I could plan accordingly.

My grandson had a great time in Germany.He said it was a lifetime experience.

Our tour guide was totally great. Every day out on the tours were amazing. The only bad review is the first hotel stay. I appreciated they extended the dinner time to due to our late arrival however the showers did not have hot or warm water, the electrical outlet sparked, and the walls and doors were so thin we heard everyone using the elevator and stairs.

The experience was very good overall. Pretty smooth with the flights, planes, and trains. My daughter and niece did mention their specific tour director was pretty good. Their biggest complaint was the meals they were given. 2 out of the 3 countries visited have the best food in the world and their prepaid meals did not look and taste that high quality. So I think the meals could have been a bit more elevated. And the free breakfast at the hotels were just ok as well. After seeing the quality of some of the hotels chosen and the mostly free meal a day prepaid (breakfast free at most hotels I’m sure). I’m not totally sure about the price $5400 roughly of this trip. For our family it seemed like a good price but now that it’s said and done I’m not sure. Perhaps about $1000 less per person in my opinion. My daughter stated the travel time in between the cities was a bit long but tolerable. They did deliver the travelers back to the hotels kind of late some of the days with very early (5am) wake up calls the next day. And I know a profit has to be made by this tour company, but definitely the hotels could have been better too. We would have paid more or even been justified with the original price if they would have had done better hotels. When you travel somewhere the highlights are: the culture, learning the history, the hotel, and food. But, all in all I’m glad they both got to experience a lot of new countries in such a short amount of time. Our personal group leader was very nice but not necessarily the most trusted to send my students with again. I will say I do not believe we would use EF tours again, but we are glad of this experience.

Very disappointed that tickets weren't included to go inside la Sagrada. My daughter said too much time was spent talking about things and she wanted time to go in and look around (palaces, cathedrals, etc.). I don't like that students were left on their own for things like scavenger hunts and free time without a chaperone.

Our Tour Director, Benjamín was amazing. He went above and beyond for the group, even ran to the pharmacy for one of my travelers when the nearest one was closed. Our local guides were all wonderful. They offered a level of insight and passion into the areas they showed us. The itinerary was great. Each day was full of activities. We probably saw two weeks of stuff in our 9 day tour. While I took the option of free time in Madrid, the adults and students who did the cooking class raved about it! Everyone in my group also agreed that the small towns were our favorites because we come from a small town. They definitely felt a connection there! Both hotels were great, but the one in Barcelona was above and beyond what we expected. The only thing I would have wished for would have been dinner options instead of one plate served to the whole group. The tapas restaurant in Madrid was the group favorite because delicious food kept coming and coming and we got to try a wide variety.

We went on a trip with EF2 years ago, and that trip was MUCH better. We went into places like museums, etc. This time, the itinerary was a bit much. Some days on the bus most of the day and stopping in town every few hours for a short bit. It felt like we didn’t have enough time in some places, and other times we were somewhere for like five hours, and there wasn’t enough to do. The group did a lot of swimming which doesn’t really interest me. There were times I wanted to pay to go in somewhere (like a museum) during free time, but we were told free time wouldn’t be long enough to actually go into those places, especially if we were going to eat lunch. We were essentially set loose in all these cities to eat and shop. I feel like I paid too much just for transportation, dinners, and hotels. There was a heat wave during our trip. The last hotel we were at for two days had air conditioning, but the one in my room did not work. I reported it twice, and nothing was done. There was no way to ventilate the room or cool it off. I couldn’t take in enough fluid for what I was sweating out. I would recommend the last trip I took (Paris, Germany, Switzerland), but not this one (Switzerland/Mediterranean coast). We did have a great driver who would run the bus ahead of time so it was always cool when we got in.

Every detail taken care of: transportation, lodging, knowledgeable tour guides, dining, and most importantly, fun. My teenager thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had many stories and photos to share. The tour guide and chaperones made accountability a priority, ensuring all students were present at all times. The tour guide taught students words and phrases to use during their daily adventures. Overall, my teenager loved it!

A lot of the food we didnt eat. Severed a lot of pork. The tour guide was absolutely amazing. Needed more time at things we paid to see. Other that tour was great we loved it.
