Wonderful tour guides

The tour guide, CLAUDIO, was amazing! The sites were beautiful! Felt safe while touring.

This was my kids 3rd trip with y'all and as expected the transportation, lodging, and tour guide service was top notch.

While we truly enjoyed the travel experience with EF Tours and are grateful for the opportunity to explore new places, we were deeply disappointed by the behavior of our chaperones, the Dirkswagers. It became clear that they were more focused on enjoying a free vacation than fulfilling their responsibilities to the students. There were multiple instances of negligence, including when my daughter was stopped, searched, and patted down by TSA at the airport with no chaperone present to support her—a moment when adult supervision was absolutely necessary. On several occasions, the Dirkswagers showed up to room checks visibly intoxicated, and one night on the cruise, they were too impaired to communicate a clear curfew. Despite their failure to give instructions, they still performed room checks and disciplined students, creating confusion and unfair consequences due to their own lack of communication. This pattern of behavior—marked by poor judgment, impatience, and frequent intoxication—made students feel unsupported and often unsafe. We hope EF Tours takes these concerns seriously and ensures future chaperones meet the standards of professionalism and responsibility that parents and students rightfully expect.

The experience of traveling to Rome itself was incredible—such a beautiful and historic city—but unfortunately, I would not choose to book another trip with EF Tours. Some of the scheduled activities felt unnecessary and could have been better spent allowing us time to explore Rome on our own. One of the biggest concerns was the lack of consideration shown by our tour guide. Upon arrival, after a long international flight with no rest, we were immediately taken on a walking tour. Despite everyone being visibly exhausted and requesting rest, the guide insisted on continuing the tour. It felt as though there was little empathy or understanding for our physical state. Additionally, the accommodations felt very low-budget. The hotels were not up to a comfortable standard, and the meals provided were disappointing. While I loved visiting Rome, the overall tour experience left a lot to be desired

It was a fun and adventurous tour! We saw many sights with the interesting history behind them. The only times we didn’t have a guide was when we were given free time and our main guide, Andrea, was kind, fun, and very helpful! There were a few issues on the tour like flight cancellations and bed bugs but they were taken care of as best they could by EF.

This was a gift for my daughter who was turning sixteen. What a blessing and wonderful opportunity and experience.. The group attended every thing on the agenda full of information and fun. The students had an opportunity to travel attend plays and museums meet new people learn about one another. Sending up for the TILL card was a plus.

My son had a wonderful experience with EF Tours in Greece. The trip was informative, well-organized, and covered a lot in a short time — truly worth it for him. My only concerns were with the travel logistics. We received the trip dates fairly last minute, making planning harder. Also, the outbound flight had a layover in Rome of less than an hour, which the group missed. They were stuck in the airport for eight hours and missed part of the trip. As a frequent traveler, I know international layovers under an hour are risky. Overall, the trip was a great educational opportunity. With better flight planning and more advance notice, it would’ve been even better.

My daughter absolutely loved this experience. I went with her as a chaperone and it was the adventure of a lifetime for both of us! Would love to do it again!!!! Our tour guide Dan was the absolute best! Highly recommend!!!!

My Review for EF Tours: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The entire experience was truly uplifting from start to finish. Our tour guide, Carlos, was incredibly personable and caring throughout the tour, always going the extra mile to inform us and make our entire group feel secure. Carlos' sense of humor was a definite highlight that lifted everyone's spirits. We were inspired by the songs Carlos played on the long bus rides, as well as some of the fun games and adventures he created for our group. The bus driver, Sergio, was the epitome of kindness, professionalism, and expertise, making him the greatest bus driver of all time. Sergio's warm greetings and offers of help were a testament to his exceptional character. The bus was always immaculate and comfortable, a true reflection of Sergio's dedication. When I sprained my ankle, Carlos and Sergio went above and beyond to ensure my well-being, bringing me food, ice, and even an ACE bandage to wrap my foot. Their selfless actions were a shining example of the power of kindness and compassion.

The people at EF are great to work with and the trip was wonderful.

The girls say it was amazing! Their tour guide and driver (Daniele and Freddy) were so nice and funny and made it even better. Freddy was the best bus driver ever and they loved everything they learned on the trip.

He had a great time, made memories that will last a lifetime.

The only thing I didn’t like was that no one had informed the airlines that I was vegan. Everything else was a wonderful experience. People were great.Thank you.

Value was awesome Only issue was told going to Basilica and that did not come to fruition. Our tour leader, Francesco, was fantastic. Anyone who should be lucky enough to get him as a tour leader are blessed. Overall very happy.

Absolutely wonderful! We squeezed out every minute we could to see as much as possible! Our tour guide, Simon, was the absolute best! Informative, entertaining, warm and friendly! This was my second tour and all I can say is “Go! Take the trip! Don’t hesitate!”
