Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

Sorento K4

Sorento K4 I was looking for a car that would tow my caravan and I was recommended a Sorento by my stepson who already has a K4, I found the one I wanted at Kia Swindon "Fish Brothers" although I live in Felixstowe 180 miles away. I dealt with Amjad who was the perfect salesman, I did the deal over the phone including a trade in, nothing was to much trouble he answered all my email questions within a short space of time. I had an appointment at 4pm and arrived early on the 05/10/2019 to collect the car, Amjad was with another customer so Matt the sales manager took over we completed all the paper work as I had a long drive home ahead of me. Fantastic people fantastic Kia dealership I would Highly recommend this dealership. To Amjad and Matt THANKS! Keith Grayston

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I stayed on hold for 30 minutes because the reps don’t even understand English. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the rep put me on hold before I got to finish what I was stating. I cannot wait until my lease is over in April I will NEVER get another Kia again their staff is incompetent

Very rude and unhelpful staff. Poor service I will not use them again

I had a problem with my car and although it is under warranty I found the Kia garage in Pentraeth extremely unhelpful. Even to book an appointment took 2 hours and then they offered my an appointment 8 days later. I really had to force this garage to replace the faulty part on my car by standing at the reception desk and refusing to move. Disgusting customer service and communication especially from one member of staff who was really horrible and spoke to me as though I was a nuisance, hence I resorted to taking a stand!! I had intended to buy another car from this garage next year but certainly will not after this treatment.

Warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. It’s always the customers fault, my advice is to look elsewhere.

We bought a kia sportage from the reading branch from the moment we arrived we were looked after by Daniel Osuhor who was very polite and knowledgeable with the cars on site daniel couldn't do enough for us from sorting a test drive to explaining the paperwork in detail the service we received was secont to none and Daniel is a credit to the company . If going to kia reading I would strongly recommend Daniel as your first point of contact .

my wife and I recently bought a new Kia Picanto from Kidderminster showroom. The salesman Andrew Tildsley was charming, efficient and knowledgeable. He was very concerned that we were happy with the sale and we assured him that we were, especially as we had been treated very differently by another Kia showroom near by. I am extremely pleased with the car, and find the whole package of warranty, and service and aftersales superb. I have recommended Andrew and Kia to my sister she will buying a new car Andrew very soon. Chris and Pat Cooper Bromsgrove

Kia Allingtons

I find it very disappointing to read so many one star only reviews on this thread. What is even more disappointing is the lack of responses from Kia dealers to the complaints and issues described. For I have to say based on my experience as an owner, this is one of the most underrated brands on the market. I understand that Kia operate on a franchise model. Some franchises are part of large dealer groups, others are family businesses, and some are actually owned and operated by Kia. This might partly explain the absence of responses but for a global brand with aspirations of producing and marketing a quality product backed by a market leader 7 year warranty, I think they need to be more proactive in this area. Anyway, I digress. I have really come on to this thread to sing the praises of Kia Allingtons located on the outskirts of Ashington, Northumberland. My very first visit last week was to have some work carried out arising from a safety recall for my particular model of car which involved updating the vehicle’s software. The dealership is based in what appear to be relatively new premises which were bright and airy with a very pleasant reception area for customers. The service was friendly, the work was carried out on time and I was happy to wait with my reading material and complimentary coffee and biscuits. Just a small job but a good start and reassuring to know that my car will be in good hands for future servicing. I understand this particular dealership is a family business and I think my experience is indicative of the difference a customer friendly approach makes in winning customer loyalty and goodwill. Hopefully over the course of time Kia will find a way of achieving consistency of service quality over all its dealerships, and using role models like Allingtons might be one way of setting the benchmark.

Beware of this horrible car company

My mum purchased a car from Kia Canterbury through finance in January but unexpectedly passed away in March. After informing them their first words were “does she have an estate”. No compassion whatsoever. They kept asking me if I wanted to take the car over and carry on making the payments. I constantly told them that I just wanted the car collected but they wouldn’t take no for an answer. In May I received a default letter saying I hadn’t made any payments so again called them and they still wanted me to have the car. After screaming down the phone they finally took the hint and arranged for the car to be collected .... in June! I then receive a letter from their Probate handlers asking for £1500 because the car had been sold but there was a shortfall. Kia, not once informed me of this. I made a complaint and they called to say they can offer £50 compensation.... insult! Beware because they charged my mum £500 to deliver the car, Canterbury is only about 15/20 mins drive and £260 road tax on the smallest car you can get from Kia! They prey on old people and take advantage. Sadly, my mum only had that car for two months and hadn’t even put 100 miles on the clock. Will be informing Watchdog of their disgusting service. I think even giving one star is too kind!

I’ve always had good service from Kia

I’ve always had good service from Kia, (based in Swindon). Prime example, on my recent MOT, the suspension was flagged up. My warranty was just coming to an end but the very kind lady on the desk squeezed the job in for me, going a few days or so over the warranty expiry date. My car was washed and hoovered too. Excellent service!
