Review summary
KIA has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one
DM Kieth Kia Leeds.
Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car.
Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car.
He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past.
Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out.
The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward .
I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.
I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down .
I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk .
After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie !
He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional.
Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done .
Well done Bobbie. And thank you !
Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.
What a totally disappointing experience with this total shower . Multiple times I was assured the XCEED would be available to collect , multiple disappointments , the last straw was the manager informing us that car wrong car was ordered originally . Told it would be 11 days to get our car , it was 34 days, they even put the plates on the wrong car on pick up day.We dealt with people with no integrity and lots of incompetence . Do not deal with these people
Car booked in for a service and MOT at Sutton Park Kia. The price of the service increased by £50, which when asked why the price has increased from 2 weeks ago, was told its due to the cost of cleaning the vehicle to be COVID-19 safe. Disappointing that Kia have taken this approach whilst other dealers are absorbing any additional costs, also questionable additional work was needed. Disappointing experience.
For the sake of £500 Kia have lost £20000. A true shame after buying such a lovely little car.
A true shame after such an excellent product. I purchased a Picanto in 2018 as a bit of a stop gap. Something cheap and cheerful while I saved for something better. And I absolutely love the thing and plan on keeping it until it falls apart and having a second car later on. However I recently had an issue with it dropping a cylinder every now and again. Apparently water has got in the engine and corroded 4 spark plugs and 3 coil packs. According to kia this is my doing. The first question I was asked was if I had ever taken the car to the cleaners on the side of the road. This is insulting to me AND to them because they aren't stupid enough to start spraying under people's bonnets and 1, I'm not that stupid either and 2, I have always cleaned my own car. I was then told that water getting into the engine is not covered under warranty and it must be something I have done because they haven't had that issue with other engines of its type. So what they are saying is, if there is fault on one of their cars it must be on every single vehicle of that type. It is insulting and disgusting. You don't buy a Kia for the badge or the prestige or performance or the luxury, you buy a Kia because of the fantastic warranty. It turns out, however that it isn't worth the paper it is written on. Turns out they are cheap for a reason. Not the reasons I thought though, it truly is an excellent little car. Too good to be true. I will never purchase another one after this experience. For the sake of the £500 (or probably less for them, that is the retail price) it would have cost them they have lost the £20000 I would have spent on a Cee'd GT.
My wife and I purchased a new Kia from Leslies KIA, Isle of Wight 18 months ago but decided to part exchange it for a convertible and place a separate order for a new Kia Sportage. We made a telephone appointment to test drive the car and obtained a favourable valuation for the Kia part ex, subject to condition. On our arrival we spoke to the salesman we had the appointment with. It was immediately apparent that he had forgotten we were due in. We asked to see the convertible only to be told it wasn’t on site, it was at another main dealers being repaired. He then viewed our car and made a comment ‘it’s absolutely unmarked’ and disappeared. He. returned with an offer at the lowest end of his original estimate. We pointed out that this was nearly 1k less than his telephone estimate for a clean car and that he could have told us the test drive wasn’t available. His response was a shrug and a smirk, not even an attempt at negotiation or apology.
We left without even discussing an order for the new vehicle. Our overwhelming impression of this dealership was - unprofessional. If they knew the convertible wasn’t on site and that we were coming to drive it why not tell us before we arrived. To comment on how immaculate our p-ex was and to offer the lowest price in the cap book was an insult only compounded by the smirking salesman. Not even recognition that we were a returning customer, no apology.
We went straight to another main dealer, purchased a near identical convertible and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience, we feel valued as customers.
We did respond to the garages request for feedback comprehensively- twice - inviting a response in case there was a misunderstanding. We also copied in management the second time. Three weeks on and no response.
As an update the garage did respond to a review on another site on this subject promising to make contact. Five days later still no response.
Looking around for a car for my daughter and her young family, after browsing the used car section of Kia Burntwood we decided to visit. We were greeted by one of the sales executive team Greg Chance, after viewing a vehicle that fitted our requirements we decided to purchase it, Greg made us fully aware of all options available to us regarding the purchase and even rectified some minor cosmetic issues with the vehicle, I cannot recommend the group enough and also Greg for making the whole experience great for my daughter.
KIA (Sportage): I am appalled: 7 weeks in dock; "emails take a long time from Korea" and still vibrates at 55mph. They didn't even frigging TEST DRIVE IT - before or after. In fact, they have done SOD ALL.
Suggestion: a) Take it to another KIA garage and see what they say. b) Don't buy Kia. And at 32mpg - a very unmodern gazzz-guzzzler - and that's on "eco".
This is the 4th car I have purchased from kia Bromley the chinese Garage
Graham is the perfect sales/ friendly rep he helps with everything and nothing is to much trouble and I know I can be a pain. Perfect experience
We purchased two new Picantos 28.06.18 at the same time which both developped clutch problems. After having a new clutch and further adjustments both still suffer with clutch judder. Apparently Kia technicians are still trying to find a fix (after a year) while we are left with a car that isn't giving us the driving experience promised with their worthless 7 year warranty. Never again will we buy from Kia as we are just left guessing if there will be a fix for the cars we are paying full price for but not getting the full product. Avoid the Picanto like the plague!!!
Great experience after wasting a couple of weeks trying to buy a Kia through one of the larger dealers. This dealership is helpful, not pushy, knows the product and gives a good deal. Easy to do business with and I'd definitely recommend. Special mention to Dave Diamond who is a pleasure to deal with.
My experience of the Brandon dealership was positive when buying the car Anthony was very friendly and helpful he answered all my questions. This is the 2nd Kia I've purchased from Anthony as my first experience went so smoothly.
I'm so please with my Kia Stonic I love it!
My only complaint is afterwards the sales people trying to sell extras continually ring, they should maybe ask if you want to be contacted either by phone or email when you purchase the vehicle. However; can not fault the sales advisors in the show room.
