Kia Bolton absolute rubbish

Kia Bolton absolute rubbish. Went in in March 2024 to buy a car but the system was down so promised a call back, and 16 months later it still never happened so I bought it somewhere else, now trying to BUY a service plan and promised a call from the service team, 7 days later still no call. Speak to Kia customer service and they send you to the dealer who never call back. If this is the service they offer when I am trying to buy something imagine how bad it would be if I had an issue. I have had 4 Kia's now and this will be my last one

DM Kieth Kia Leeds.

DM Kieth Kia Leeds. Absolute pleasure from ordering to picking up my new car. Tony was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and explained fully how the Motability Scheme works and how it would help me to purchase my new car. He was instrumental in me choosing this route , as it had always worried me in the past. Tony kept me informed regularly regarding when the car would arrive and when the adaptation work would be carried out. The whole experience has been stress free and very straightforward . I love the new Kia Sportage and would highly recommend the Leeds Kia dealership to anyone who wants an excellent buying experience.

I would have given them a 5 star review…

I would have given them a 5 star review except for the fact that one person at the desk let them down . I had a front camera replaced and when the work was don , the bumper was not put on straight . Had words with a certain individual that worked on the desk . After trying to sort out the mess , I finally had a call from the service manager Bobbie ! He sorted it out with flying colours, excellent service ,polite to the point and extremely professional. Hopefully the of his staff will take note of how it should be done . Well done Bobbie. And thank you !

Don't bother

Today Monday 7th I walked into kia bristol to look at the price of a brand new picanto .I wandered around the showroom giving the salesmen plenty of time to acknowledge me AND NOTHING. I WONT BE BUYING A NEW CAR AT THIS DEALER.( shocking service) GO ELSEWHERE.

Kia warranty

My dad has a kia sorento purchased new. 6 years old, less that 39000 miles driven, and the clutch has worn and flywheel damaged. A total cost of £3308.45. Not covered under the "kia 7 year warranty". He was out of county when the car needed to be repaired and the kia garage in Shropshire wanted £500 just to diagnose the fault! Laughable! My kia ceed (6 yrs old) which I purchased at 6 months old. Low milage. All 4 alloys corroded, kia technician reported it was due to curb damage or environmental factors?! Not covered under warranty. Had alloys repaired at my cost with an independent repairer, to be told that the alloys had clearly been repaired before! However, the burden of proof would mean I would have to prove this at a cost to me! Windscreen washers broke - funny enough those were covered under warranty! As they are cheap to replace I assume?! Kia clearly use cheap parts that dont last. Not sure how they have the pride to advertise a 7 year warranty. I would take that warranty with a pinch of salt. Both myself and my father feel very ripped off by kia. I would not recommend kia nor purchase another Kia car.

Niro 3...my baby...!

Bought a Kia Niro 3 hybrid last December from Bells of Bedford. Wasn't sure due to technology, plus the fact that it's the first car l bought since 1986, due to running company cars. Lovely car to drive, getting 73mpg..! Probably driven it every day. Due to tech display, l have consulted with the sales guy, James Rough. Never too much trouble sorting out my questions; very helpful and experienced member of staff....

Damage&dirty brand new car

In March we purchased a new car from Donalds Kia Bury St Edmunds. Upon collection of the vehicle on the 6th March and inspecting the car we identified a couple of small areas of exterior damage, the salesman argued it was polish marks but upon wiping it could not be removed. Another colleague came out to inspect the area (assume was the dealership manager), who agreed it was damage. We eventually agreed to accept the car on the proviso that the dealership would make good the damage. Our understanding is that they’d organise for a company (Trimline) to attend our property shortly afterwards to rectify the damage. It has since been five weeks and yet we do not have an appointment scheduled. Over the last 5 weeks I have followed up multiple times with the Kia dealership, being promised two weeks ago that we’d receive a call “tomorrow” we did not get. On the 21st March we requested and was told that our complaint has been escalated to the dealership manager so it can be resolved, however up until this date we have not been contacted by them, so can assume it is yet to be done. We have now been given Trimline’s number to follow up directly with them, but this shouldn’t be our responsibility to do this. Had we known that the dealership would have washed their hands of this matter as soon as we had taken the car from the forecourt, we wouldn’t have accepted the car until the damage had been rectified. Unfortunately we accepted in good faith. In addition to the damage, albeit a small thing there were also multiple muddy smear marks on the interior car door and mud in the inner tubing of the bottom of the door. It was disappointing that the car couldn’t have been valeting or at least wiped prior to us picking up the car. On mentioning it to the salesman; I would have hoped he would have just got someone to clean it but instead made us feel silly by asking if we wanted a complete valet in a voice that said this was ridiculous and of course as we then felt silly for bringing up the mud. We ended up getting cleaning our car at home which is not what you want to do the day you buy a new car. I would appreciate it if you could assist in resolving our outstanding concern as we seem to have reached an impasse with the dealership.

Bought my car with a years warranty…Great Customer Service

Bought my car with a years warranty last August. I recently had a problem with the airbags warning light and took the car back to Kia Bletchley. Cristian took care of me from the start and the part needed was ordered and replaced within 2 weeks. Exceptional Customer Service from Cristian. Despite being extremely busy he took the time to make sure my issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. There should be more ‘Cristians’ in Customer Service. Well done to you. X

What warranty?

I bought a second hand Picanto still only 24000 miles and to be honest I am quite happy with it. The first experience with Bolton Kia some while ago regarding warranty was the issue with the auto shut down when you stop at the lights, I was told you need to run it at over 50 for a period of time to fully charge the battery; after a 240 mile run it still wont work and the dealer is still uninterested' but the real problem is that the battery is not good enough. My latest problem is that all the alloys have started corroding. I did some research and it does seem to be an issue with diamond cut alloys and that dealers would blame it all on you saying it is stone chips and kerbing; as expected that is exactly what they said and told me that they would not even pass it on to Kia. The lad who examined it said "if you had bought it from us we would have done something about it" There is not much point in advertising a 7 year warranty if they will not honor it.

Avoid kia

Avoid. Kia Southend. I purchased a Kia Stonic. That had 600 miles on it as I went to pay for it the salesman Derek said I could get £500 off by way of a deposit contribution if I took out finance. I asked is there an early settlement penalty if I paid it off early, he told me there was no penalty so we took him up on the offer. As it was just before Christmas we left it until January to pay it off in full. So I called Kia finance and paid the £18400 off which was the screen price of the car less the £500 to then be told there is a further payment to be made. We went to Kia Southend to be told Kia finance got it wrong, and they would get it sorted. Today I got a letter demanding a further payment of over £700 pounds. Kia finance are just as bad when you call and explain what you were told you are called liars and if your not happy go to the ombudsman. The car smells of antifreeze when it has been driven it has been back to the dealership and all I get told is there is no issue with the car. I will never purchase another Kia in my life and I will tell everyone to avoid Kia and their finance department as they don’t care about customer satisfaction. They use Bully boy tactics as a large company victimising the individual who keeps them in a job

Excellent Customer Service From Allen Kia Brentwood

Purchased my Kia Stinger from Allen Kia Brentwood yesterday and the sales process was smooth from start to finish. Keith Rider was the least pushy car salesman I've ever dealt with and a top bloke all round. He explained every part of the deal to the finest detail and it did not feel like he just wanted my money and then to get me out of the door. Would definitely recommend Allen Kia Brentwood.

Kia Ceed

As always we have had very good service from Kia and we are very happy with our purchase, the sales staff took a lot of time to listen to what we needed and managed to reduce our payments and upgrade our model within the used car market, Nathan and Sophie (Mansfield road) were very welcoming and patient and we have now got a lovely Kia Ceed.
