Great working with Darwin homes on applying and getting a home ready to move in. very good staff and systems for applying and signing lease. Kendra let us view the property again after our lease was signed to take some measurements which was very helpful.

Please provide better, easier ways to pay fees. We were given 2 days to pay prude posit so ACH was not an option for us. We had to go to multiple gas stations and CVSs because the employees were not trained on how to process a payment for us. We also had to submit multiple pay stubs, normally only 2 are required but we were asked to submit 4-5 which was a bit annoying. Communication with agents has been disorganized.
Several of the people I worked with went above and beyond to help me. Coleen in the approval dept and Kendra in helping me complete my lease and payments, answering my many questions and getting me some updates resolved.
The worse experience ever, I am trying to pay you no help. No one was on the same page days I have spent on hold no resolution.
I am very appreciative of how once I told Darwin the issues that needed to be addressed at the property they promptly made sure to get me scheduled and access the issue . The representative always calls or emails me back to make sure the job is being handled and that contact was made between I and the vendor. Thank you so much.

We recently tried to apply with this company twice. Before even applying I reached out in several ways, except for phone because they would not answer, to make sure our income would qualify. We’re a unique case, so I have been very thorough with companies to make sure we are not wasting our time, their time or our money. After some texts, emails, and chats they informed me that everything I had listed would count and even said I was doing a “great job” making sure I provided everything. First application we submitted because the property said it had no pending applications at that time. We were tired of battling other applicants and were excited to find a place that we would actually have the first shot at. A day or two later we were informed there actually were people who applied ahead of us. So, the site is not accurate when saying there are no other applicants. But they will refund your app fee. After a few days we decided to start pursuing a larger home with some of our family. We apply again, and are immediately rejected because the income they informed me would qualify, actually did not. I tried to explain how it was bizarre to me because I worked with multiple people from their company and this was the first time I heard it wouldn’t qualify. And they don’t explicitly state in their requirements that these forms of income are not accepted, hence why I had to clarify. I even went as far as to ask if there was anything else we could do to help prove sufficient income. My email was ignored. I find all of this extremely unprofessional, I would not have continued to waste my time with this company if I knew this the multiple times I reached out. I understand that different companies have different rules, this is exactly why I wanted to reach out and clarify. Then to just ignore me because I am no longer a prospective tenant is distasteful.

I found the process confusing at first but the more I read and talking with the leasing agent the process started to make sense. Once I read and got a full understanding the process went smoothly. I would recommend the process to my family and friends.
This has the been the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had renting an apartment. Unresponsive, offshore customer service. No returned calls or emails. Worst service I’ve ever experienced. Do not use them for anything!
